We're WELL aware that the resurgence of '90s fashion has been coming on full-force over the past few years, but we're starting to notice a shift from mostly grunge-inspired looks (think: oversized flannel, distressed denim, and combat boots) to bright, early '90s all-over graphic print shirts (think: Fresh Prince and De La Soul)—especially on dudes. And we're not talking about just any ol' printed tops here, we're talking about kooky graphics plastered all across dress shirts, and then—this part is CRUCIAL—buttoning it all the way up to the top. BAM! Beautiful '90s goodness. While Theophilus London and Blood Orange's Dev Hynes have been rocking this steez for-ev-er (see above), this look is just beginning to cross over into the mainstream as of late on Kevin Jonas, Robert Pattinson, and Zac Efron. Fellow MTV Style editor Gaby Wilson and I were discussing this old-but-new graphic print trend resurgence, and she made a MEGA-AMAZING point about the whole thing: "We're calling it a trend now because people whose personal styles are not necessarily so early '90s all the time [like Kevin, R Pattz and Zac] are dabbling in it." Yep, she summed it up perfectly. *golf clap* Now, let's take a closer look at all these zany shirts, shall we?
