Justin Bieber visits "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."

Ever since Ellen DeGeneres sent up this semi-cryptic tweet two days ago, we penned the showtime into our calendars and immediately pressed our ears to the ground for all the latest breaking Justin Bieber news. Welp, Friday has finally arrive, and along with a squeal-inducing acoustic album announcement (though, if you follow Justin on Instagram, you probably already knew), Bieber graced The Ellen DeGeneres Show with a special stripped-down performance of "As Long As You Love Me" and dished on his newest tattoos and those infamous overalls.

Here we are. The penultimate episode (EVER) of Gossip Girl is under our vintage Chanel belts. It's almost time to bid Season 6 and GG's Upper East Side as we've come to know it adieu, and after 8 episodes of maligning about how relatively no loose ends were being tied up, by the end of this, Episode 9 "The Revengers," we are firmly changing our tunes. We'll try not to give anything away, but WOWOWEEWOW, was this one a DOOZY.

It all opens with a Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester) Hepburn-era nightmare wherein she envisions Bart Bass (Robert John Burke) threatening her future with Chuck (Ed Westwick) — not too far from reality (err, reality within the confines of the show and its plot, that is). Blair and Chuck regroup for a new plan of attack to bring Bart down. Lily (Kelly Rutherford) may finally be siding with the good guys, but thanks to Bart's uncanny ability to cover nearly every single track, she has little information to aid their cause (but at least she's not actively trying to thwart the plans anymore, right??).

Nate (Chace Crawford) and Sage (Sofia Black-D'Elia) have since rekindled their relationship, and Sage proves to be an uplifting and positive influence on Archibald. The short-lived renewal of Serena (Blake Lively) and Dan's (Penn Badgley) long-time on-again off-again storyline is still sour this episode. Lonely Boy waffles between whether he feels burned by or is still pining for S, while Serena has been pushed to such hatred for Humphrey and everything the UES has turned him into, she decides to move to Los Angeles, effective by the end of the night.

First, though, the group (minus Dan) bands together to take down Bart in time for a celebration honoring him as New York Real Estate's Man Of the Year, even calling on help from master-con Ivy Dickens (Kaylee DeFer) and the queen of manipulation, Georgina Sparks (Michelle Trachtenberg) for scheming back-up. Keep in mind, though, Bart is an evil genius and not to be underestimated. Due to a few unfortunate mishaps, Nate gets arrested, Blair gets kidnapped, and Bart charters a jet to send Chuck into exile in Moscow, but if you haven't caught up yet, we won't spoil the rest for you, but check back here weekly for our fashion recap!

You may have just shaken off the sleepy tryptophan after-effects of your Thanksgiving dinner, but Turkey Day comes a little late to TV's Upper East Side (thanks/no thanks to Hurricane Sandy). Last night was Gossip Girl's Season 6 Thanksgiving episode, and as with most family gatherings, there was plenty of drama to go around. The newly official couple, Serena (Blake Lively) and Dan (Penn Badgley) decide to host a holiday dinner, inviting all of their friends and much of their family to the mid-day fête (an easy way for the show writers to get a volatile combination of characters in one place at one time and FORCED to talk to each other). The biggest buzzkill bubbling under the surface? The fact that Dan's next Vanity Fair chapter is all about S. Yikes!

Blair (Leighton Meester) may have held up her end of their relationship pact, but Chuck (Ed Westwick) is still plagued by his quest to undo Bart (Robert John Burke). The success of Waldorf Designs junior line, though, leaves B with free hands to devote 100% of her scheming mind to helping out Chuck. Lily (Kelly Rutherford) may have finally been convinced of her husband's wrong-doings, and begins to help Chuck unravel his estranged father. Sage (Sofia Black-D'Elia) and her father Steven (Barry Watson) also turn up at dinner, and with a little help from Georgina (Michelle Trachtenberg), Dan's Serena chapter sees the light of day. If you haven't caught up yet, we won't spoil the rest for you, but check back here weekly for our fashion recap!

RuPaul's finale runway look.
Photo: LOGO

Sweet mother of RuPaul, we're down to the final episode. This is the ultimate payoff of the investment we've made for weeks, some of us several seasons: the crowning of the redemptive queen who returned to take her rightful place in the Drag Race Hall of Fame. Get us a hankie, we predict blubbering in our future.

Perhaps you missed us last week—we were on the gonzo whirlwind known as #Rihannaplane, where television, time, and internet did not exist, so here's a brief recap of last week's pre-finale. The remaining queens—Chad Michaels, Shannel, Raven and Jujubee—were enlisted to play a game of FISH, Ru's queen version of beloved sixth grade hoops game HORSE. Then she flipped the switch and had her girls dress in good versus evil superhero costumes, the best of which was Chad Michaels in a flame-themed cape and bodysuit as Firecrotch. Raven and Jujubee were forced to lip sync against each other to Robyn's "Dancing On My Own" (ugh!), but the end result was so emotional, complete with Jujubee hyperventilating, that Ru bucked her own rules and kept them both in the competition. Also, Michelle Visage was wearing a necklace in the shape of home state New Jersey and Ru goes, "You put the HO in HOBOKEN!"

Last week's Gossip Girl left us with two Season 6 game-changers: Ivy (Kaylee DeFer) having the clear upper-hand and Serena (Blake Lively) and Dan (Penn Badgley) being officially unofficially back together. Last night's "Save The Last Chance" episode does everything in the GG handbook to rectify the too-easy plot switch, throwing a fashionable soirée and smothering it in a bevy of schemes.

Of the former, Ivy deduces that the microfilms she's found in the back lining of Lily's (Kelly Rutherford) rainbow woman painting are the linchpin to Bart's (Robert John Burke) undoing. She uses the records' hot commodity status within the Bass family to pit father and son Chuck (Ed Westwick) against each other for her benefit AND the benefit of *holds breath for maybe not entirely unexpected reveal since this show loooooves reviving old characters this season* William van der Woodsen (Billy Baldwin). That's right, folks. Billy's back (again)! And this time, he isn't just Serena's dad or even Lola's (Ella Rae Peck) dad. This season, he and Ivy also evidently have some sort of relationship, and it involves kissing. Don't hold your breath for an Ivy: The Step-Mom plot twist just yet, though, because if we've learned one thing from six season of Gossip Girl, relationships on the Upper East Side are fickle at best.

Blair (Leighton Meester) kicks off her Waldorf Designs junior line to rave reviews — yes, even from Nelly Yuki (Yin Chang) — despite a little scheming hiccup courtesy of Constance's new Queen: Sage (Sofia Black-D'Elia). Nate (Chace Crawford) unwittingly tangles himself farther into the Bass family drama than he had hoped. And Dan (Penn Badgley) and his chapter pimp Georgina (Michelle Trachtenberg) remain largely unseen (in this episode, at least), but if you haven't caught up yet, we won't spoil the rest for you. Check back here weekly for our fashion recap!

With last week's Cotillion blow-out putting the Waldorf Designs name to shame, Blair's (Leighton Meester) mother Eleanor (Margaret Colin) makes her grand Gossip Girl Season 6 entrance in the middle of a patented B plotting line-up. The subject of this morning's summit of the minds and minions? How to bury Dan's (Penn Badgley) latest Vanity Fair write-up entitled "Blair Waldorf: The Queen of Scheme."

Sage's (Sofia Black-D'Elia) show-stopping Cotillion reveal involuntarily burnt bridges for both Humphrey and Serena (Blake Lively), sending them into exile while celebutant gossip-hungry media vultures staked out their latest whereabouts. All this time together and having just been dumped by Steven (Barry Watson) also resurges Serena's latent feelings for Lonely Boy which seem more possible now that Lily (Kelly Rutherford) and Rufus (Matthew Settle) called their marriage quits.

Chuck (Ed Westwick) continues to grapple with his efforts to take down Bart (Robert John Burke) but makes some serious headway this episode with help from Nate (Chace Crawford). The two track down the location of a very important, very secret key to Bart's undoing. Unfortunately, getting their hands on it proves even more difficult as it unknowingly gets swept up into the Lily vs. Rufus and Ivy (Kaylee DeFer) art auction/showdown but if you haven't caught up yet, we won't spoil the rest for you. Check back here weekly for our fashion recap!

The aftermath! After last week's RuPaul's Drag Race All-Stars upset elimination of fan fave Team Latrila, the queens' cockles are up, and we think the TV Guide needs to recategorize this show from "reality" to "tragedrama." From jump, Team Yarlexis was salty for all the shade the ladies threw their way and seemed as determined as ever—but so did everyone else. Stakes is high. Be still our hearts.

This week was the "reading" mini-challenge, in which the queens have to tell their counterparts what time it is, and how they're failing. Usually the best part of Drag Race, the way it was configured this week illuminated the shortcomings of All-Stars. Rather than a regular read, the teams were compelled to cheer their disses in unison, which takes out the entire point of reading: timing and wit. In their efforts to distinguish All-Stars from the rest of the series (and not make the queens repeat stunts they've already done), the producers rearranged what makes the show great in the first place. Not that we're not living for All-Stars, because gag me with a silver stiletto, baby, but by the show's very nature it's hard to repeat contestants and yet not alter the basic structure.

Good morning, loyal Gossip Girl fans! Believe it or not, amidst all five of those Frank Ocean tracks playing over the GG dialogue, there was an Upper East Side plot unfurling! Blair's mother (Leighton Meester) Eleanor (Margaret Colin) is concerned with the poor performance of Waldorf Designs under B's watch and threatens her daughter with an ultimatum. In response, Blair attempts to kickstart the sales by enlisting Sage (Sofia Black-D'Elia) for another headline-making outfit at her upcoming Cotillion. It's worth noting that since the GG writers introduced a new high school-age character, this gave the unique opportunity for Nate (Chace Crawford) to rack up his third career debutant party.

Serena (Blake Lively) may be close to the Spence family, but it seems she's the last to know about the Cotillion as beau Steven (Barry Watson) neglects to invite her until the very last minute. Unnerved by Steven's odd behavior, S does some snooping and discovers a whopper of a diamond ring in Steven's briefcase. Sage walks in on S giddily reacting all of the ring, and everyone realizes what's going on. Steven is going to propose! Or at least, intends to, so long as nothing/no one gets in the way, like, say his vengeful daughter who makes it her mission to destroy the impending engagement. Chuck (Ed Westwick) and Ivy (Kaylee DeFer) forge an unlikely partnership by way of their vendettas against Bart (Robert John Burke) and Lily (Kelly Rutherford) respectively, but it's way overshadowed by the drama that goes down after Sage gets her hands on some stolen footage from Georgina's (Michelle Trachtenberg) phone. If you haven't caught up yet, we won't spoil the rest for you, but check back here weekly for our fashion recap!

Watching Nina Flowers and Tammie Brown go away on last week's RuPaul's Drag Race All-Stars still smarts—especially Brown, the weirdo's Honey Boo Boo. As Alexis Mateo put it, "I'm gonna miss their crazy a****." But this competition is cutthroat, and there was a lesson in that: part of whittling it down to just one winner means that we're going to watch beloved contenders sashay away time and again. Take heed: the four teams left this week were stacked with faves. No cut would have been unpainful, and by the end of it, Twitter had turned into a wailing wall of heartbroken fans.

Team Yarlexis' butch look.
Photo: Logo

Plus, it was hard not to imagine how Team Brown Flowers would have handled this week's mini-challenge: to dress up giving "butch male realness" and take selfies with an archaic, unattached-to-a-phone, handheld digital camera. Given the number of side-eyes and sarcastic laughs, this was possibly one of the toughest pre-challenges in Drag Race history: Raven was all, "We have no idea how to be butch," and proceeded to take pics of herself looking exactly as she does out of drag, no broham attached. The shaded five-o-clock shadow she gave Jujubee with an eyeliner pencil was more butch-successful, even though Jujubee looked like a kid going as a hobo on Halloween. But nobody really nailed it like Team Yarlexis, who looked like a French Montana and Juelz Santana supergroup in a barrio/Prince close shave (Alexis) and bandana splash (Yara). You know Dipset's crew photo is in the dictionary next to "banjee," y'all.
