We're going to be pretty sad when HBO's Girls is over. We're pretty ob-sessed with Lena Dunham's comedy about a group of Brooklyn 20-something ladies (who even live in our neighborhood, natch). Honestly, though, it wasn't always smooth sailing, as the first couple of episodes hit, well, a little close to home (but not that close to home, ew) and kind of bummed us out, but by now we've been totally sold on the world of Hannah, Shoshanna, Jessa, and Marnie. Basically when the show ends it's going to be like when one of your friends moves across the country--there will be a mourning period. Apparently the fine people over at NY Mag's Vulture feel the same way as we do, and Kyle Hilton decided to express his grief by making a set of paper dolls for each of the characters. These are a far cry from the paper dolls of our childhood, which were mostly American Girl characters or historical figures, and DEFINITELY didn't come with iPhones or wineglasses or exposed lady parts.
Demi Lovato and Britney Spears at the 'X Factor' auditions in Austin, Texas, on May 24.

Forget the "Oops!"—Britney Spears straight-up just did it again. *curtsies enthusiastically* After momentarily turning me straight in a seriously skin-tight Alexander Wang (!!!) number last week in Manhattan, the Ms. American Dream Since She Was 17 took the whole Southern Belle lewk to sky-rocketing new levels at the first batch of X-Factor auditions in Austin, Texas. See: big, bananas-y blonde hair, a smokey eye, a million dollar smile, and, oh right, THAT. DRESS. Brit Brit sported another body-con/sizzling get-up—this time courtesy of celeb-fave designer Brian Lichtenberg. Head-to-toe observations: It's hot pink. There's revealing mesh cutout action. The black chunky zipper traveling down the back is SEX. Are those shoulder pads? *dead* P.S.- It's under $400. (But the stunning black YSL stilettos are definitely not. :() And can we all at once say, "Leggy?!" #LEGNEY
Bryanboy at New York Fashion Week on Feb. 10.

It just keeps getting better, y'all! Exactly one week ago, we found out that Katy Perry's stylist Johnny Wujek was joining the infamous America's Next Top Model team (along with Kelly Cutrone), and today WWD broke the news that fashion blogger/all around cool dude Bryanboy is ALSO going to be a part of the show. Oh. My. Gahhhh. Do you guys know what this means? Fash bloggers have OFFICIALLY arrived! If their front row NYFW status wasn't enough to turn some heads, this new addition to the ANTM team will bring them into a whole new light.
Rihanna and Jennifer Lopez perform on 'American Idol' on May 23.

YASSS. Remember when Rihanna showed us a sneak peek of her new dreaded 'do yesterday? Well, we got to see it in full force last night when she performed live on the American Idol season finale! She sang "Where Have You Been?" in an all black Adam Selman loincloth number amidst tons of lasers, fog, and scantily-clad backup dancers. Silver spikes and gems dangled from her black bra top, which she paired with leather belt and a slit-up-to-the-waist skirt. She finished the look with lace-up boots, Pamela Love earrings, and a crocodile Lynn Ban cuff. She pulled her dreads up into a high ponytail and sported a KILLER smoky eye to finish the look.

Today, Justin Bieber appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show for the fourth time this year to perform his single "Boyfriend" and announce his major headlining Believe tour for his album of the same name. Usually Ellen DeGeneres is the one doling out the gifts (remember the slick whip she gave him for his 18th birthday?), but this time, The Biebs was spreading the swaggy, gifting Ellen with a matching custom "Girlfriend" varsity jacket. Not to be outdone, Ellen turned around with a surprise of her own - a special commencement ceremony for the new high school graduate!

Huge news, y'all! Stylist Johnny Wujek (the mastermind behind some of Katy Perry's most iconic ensembles, see: her "E.T." music video, that GHD campaign mermaid ensemble, and her custom hot pink Judy Jetson AMA dress) is joining the newly-revamped America's Next Top Model! He will act as the creative consultant on the shoots like his predecessor Jay Manuel, and eeee! We are so excited. Last fall, Kelly Cutrone also announced that she would be replacing André Leon Talley for the 19th season of the show. KILLER. The last panel spot will be filled by cuteface model Rob Evans (hiiii *bats eye lashes*) who is obviously replacing Nigel Barker in the role of "Judge Panelist That Also Doubles As Serious Eye Candy." Me-ow.

I don't know what the world is like without The Simpsons. That's not some cheap ploy to position myself as the biggest Simpsons fan ever; it's just the truth. Homer, Marge, Lisa, Bart, and Maggie have been an integral part of pop culture as I know it since before my spongey baby brain could even make memories. Since its inception on The Tracey Ullman show, I've seen the Simpsons world and the fashion community intersect a few times, but over the past 25 years, never before has it been quite like this. Lady Gaga's major feature guest starring in Sunday night's Season 23 finale (May 20, 8 p.m. EST on FOX, like you didn't already know) is already a huge deal (umm, HAI, an entire episode dedicated to your visit to Springfield? #bucketlist), but as soon as we caught wind of her 18 different episode outfits, we knew we had to beg someone from the Simpsons camp to talk to us about this ASAP. Thankfully, legendary writer/producer extraordinaire (and all-around smart, funny dude) Al Jean answered our pleas and gave us the scoop on the hotly anticipated episode and all its animated fashions.

Oh SNAP, y'all! The more we find out about The Carrie Diaries, the more excited we're getting for its premiere! While there's still no firm premiere date that we've seen, The CW has announced that the awaited Sex and the City prequel series will make its on-air debut this coming fall. As card-carrying SATC die-hards, we're dying to watch how little Carrie comes of age in the Big Apple and befriends little Miranda, little Charlotte, and little Samantha. What makes our eyes pop out of our skulls, though, is the prospect of having the fashion-centric prequel's wardrobe department live under the wing of the very same network that brought us Gossip Girl. (!!!!!!!!!!) Can you just IMAGINE?

Britney Spears' fans are probably convulsing-on-the-floor-types of *dead* as a result of yesterday's official halt to the heart-murmur-inducing rumors: Brit Brit (along with 19-year-old cutie-patootie Demi Lovato) is next season's new X Factor judge! #THEREISAGODNEY Brit Brit graced Manhattan with her Holy Spearit yesterday for the announcement of the very special occasion at the Fox Upfronts whilst looking all kinds of hot. Allow me to explain/gush: Britney's super straight, shiny locks in a middle part, natural-ish make-up with a little blush and a smokey eye, and a perfectly tanned/totally toned body had me teary-eyed and breaking out in happy hives. OKAY. Britney took "fit like a glove" to a whole new salacious level with that off-white Stop Staring mini dress paired with stylish stilettos from Gaga favorite, Mr. Giuseppe Zanotti.
Last night marked the Season 5 finale of Gossip Girl. Rumors loomed that this might be GG's last, but (thankfully) the show was renewed for its sixth and final season. It's welcome news, but we still have to wait until the Fall for the next episode. In this summer sign-off for Gossip Girl's penultimate season, we're still picking up the pieces from the shocking return of Bart Bass (Robert John Burke) which applies new tensions with Chuck (Ed Westwick), not to mention Rufus (Matthew Settle) and Lily's (Kelly Rutherford) fizzling marriage.
Serena (Blake Lively) was usurped as the acting Gossip Girl, and in the hustled change of hands instigated by Nate (Chace Crawford) and Lola (Ella Rae Peck), scarring pages of Blair's (Leighton Meester) personal diary found their way into GG's (and subsequently, the entire Interwebz) hands. Blair's intimate musings reveal to the Gossip Girl readers damaging tidbits about Blair's mother, the NYC restaurant community, and trouble in paradise with Lover Boy/Lonely Boy Dan (Penn Badgley). The episode marks the return of many other things along with Bart and Gossip Girl, but if you haven't caught up yet, we won't spoil the rest for you. Check back here weekly for our fashion recap!
