Lady Gaga on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!"

Once we basked in the glory of Taiwan's Lady Gaga Day and marveled on how these tots were able to so convincingly replicate all of the iconic weirdness of Lady Gaga. We said to ourselves, "What if?" What if we were all quite literally Born This Way, with Kermits on our dresses and hair bows upon our crowns? We weren't alone. Gaga, ever willing to poke fun at herself, took to Jimmy Kimmel Live to present her very own creation for "The Littlest of Monsters," an infant clothing line called Lady Gaga Goo Goo.
Lady Gaga channels The Beatles' "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" on "So You Think You Can Dance."
We ought to get this right out of the way: Last night on So You Think You Can Dance, Lady Gaga showed up looking an awful lot like an Italian Sgt. Pepper, cried tears of joy while her makeup stayed sedentary, and then got so excited she took off her massive (and maybe dangerous) heel-less shoe and whipped it on the stage. All of these facts should be presented with no comment (really), but since that’s not our job, let’s take a look at the emotional, psychedelic, shoe hawking state of our current Lady of Gagadom.

OK, not to get all emotional and blathering, but do you smell that? (They say olfactory senses are your most nostalgic...) Sure you do. If you pause just long enough, there it is. A hint of crisped, chemical hair gel. And then a note of cocoa butter-heavy suntan lotion. Or a top note of aerosol body spray. The smells of summer...and our favorite beachside respite, the Jersey Shore.

Bam. Season 4 is here in its fist-pumping, smushing, grenade-avoiding glory and we cannot wait to see what havoc the crew has reaped overseas. While The Situation, Snooki , Vinny, Pauly D, JWOWW, Deena, Ronnie, and Sammi aren't in Seaside for No. 4, they are getting in touch with their Italian roots over in the boot-shaped country. Ya heard? Which means, of course, this is the most major Jersey Shore season to date, and we figured that out using science. The science OF FASHION. It has been three full seasons of flip-flops and polyester tops, but our Jersey Shore veterans (even newbie Deena) didn't go to the heart of European style and come back unscathed. So while you are giving yourself a GTL refresher (by tuning in to the flashback show "From the First Fist Pump" today at 10 p.m. ET to relive each delectable high and low), peep how drastically our little beach bums have changed! JWOWW is a class act, Vinnie went all hipster on us, and Snooki continues to blow our mind on the regular. To track the transformation of each cast member, we have refreshed our killer Jersey Shore Style Evolution lookbooks with hot new images (plus the old ones of some of their familiar, classic looks). And to see where their styles are going (Hint: to a place where DREAMS AND PINK LEOPARD PRINTS RUN FREE), we've included some of the spankin' new, Euro-scented looks and outfits that'll definitely make Season 4 mind-searingly memorable.

It's almost time for the new fall TV season, and if you haven't heard yet, NBC is set to launch the new reality series Fashion Star. If you're wondering if this is yet another rip-off of a certain fashion-based reality show, think again, because Fashion Star is actually helmed by the very people who brought you the original Project Runway. Also, if you're thinking there really isn't more to be done with this competition-based fashion genre, think again again because this new show sounds like an entirely different show altogether. Also? It sounds pretty awesome.
Hosted by model icon and lingerie designer, Elle Macpherson, Fashion Star will pit aspiring designers—from Parsons grads to stay-at-home moms—against one other in challenges that will help them develop their brands. Apparently, there will be a mega-fashion show at the top of each episode, too, and it will be "unlike anything we've seen before" complete with musical performers, dancers, and models in front of a live audience. Sounds like a circus to us, a FASHION CIRCUS! But who are the celebrity judges, you ask? Well, there aren't celebrity judges per se, but there are celebrity mentors...
Hold the phone: Taylor Momsen turns 18 TODAY. The Pretty Reckless singer and former Gossip Girl bad gal is finally a grown-up and there's PUHLENTY to celebrate. Pantsless of course. Taylor's come a long way, baby. Sure, her clothing has remained constant since she started exclusively wearing black platform boots and errant leather scraps and a cape of wavy/dyed/dreadlocked blonde hair, but one thing has changed so dramatically we'd be remiss not to mention it. With each platinum extension and step toward near-nudity, Taylor has never forgotten what is most important to a fledgling rocker—black eyeliner.
Rock and roll doesn't mean a "lovely smoky eye," it means MAKEUP DRIPPING DOWN YOUR FACE AND MASCARA SMEARED ON PEOPLE STANDING NEXT TO YOU. Let's face it: Momsen is a rock star, and 18 years old is prime time for a heavy hand. To celebrate, we've created a retrospective with an accompanying "Eyeliner Scale" to judge progress where 0 is baby-faced freshness and 10 is looking into the deep black of insanity. So Taylor, happy birthday to you and your evolution in kohl. Mazel!

The Jersey Shore cast is baaack! The premiere of Season 4 is only a couple weeks away (AUG. 4!), and after that cray cray trailer released on Tuesday, it seems we are certainly in for a drama and fashion-filled Italian adventure. Since we have to wait, like, FOREVER for the premiere, we got our hands on the official cast photos shot on location in Italy to hold us over, and whew, boy! Their uh-mazing tans and epic hair gel still reign strong, but we think their European adventures inspired new looks from some of the cast. What do you think: Did spending time in Florence, Italy, change their style or are they still staying true to the Shore?
JWOWW AND SNOOKI

First up: JWOWW. Girl has got it going ON. DANG. This one-shoulder dress wouldn't look good on 99 percent of the population, but of course JWOWW's got the gams to wear whatever she wants, which, in this case, is a billowy chiffon mini with sky-high black T-strap stilettos and soft waves. We're OBSESSED with this romantic JWOWW look! On the right, Snooki shows off her bod in a curve-hugging snakeskin halter dress with a matching turban (which is SO trendy fashion blogger). She accessorized with a super wide black belt, suede peep-toe ankle booties, giant gold hoops, and a pop of seafoam nails. Sidenote: She is TOTALLY whipping out the "Blue Steel" model face in this photo, dontcha think?
Pauly D and Vinny in their Italia track jackets.
If all of the crazy fashion AND fights in the entire next season of Jersey Shore are ACCURATELY depicted in this newly-released two-minute trailer, than HOOO BOY, are we in for TREAT. It looks like there's mad drama, mad fist pumping, and maaaadd Jerz fashion when the entire cast heads to Italy for a few months. But first up, can we talk about Pauly D and Vinny's cute-as-a-button matchy-matchy "Italia" track jacket sweatband outfits? I mean, not only did they buy similar Italian pride zip-ups, but they COLOR COORDINATED their sweatbands and sunglasses. We think every dude needs to man up, grab their heterosexual life partner and IMMEDIATELY cop this. Let's break it down.

Oh, Gossip Girl. You know just how to keep us interested. Just when we had almost almost forgotten how completely driven MAD we were waiting for this next season of GG, you reinvigorate all of our nail-biting hair-pulling anticipation with a press release that you KNOW is going to surface more than a few times on any style-phile’s radar. Fash-royalty Elizabeth Hurley is joining the upcoming season of Gossip Girl. SAY WHAAAAA?

No matter who you were rooting for throughout this premiere season of NBC's "The Voice," style-philes across the country no doubt became smitten with runner-up Dia Frampton. Her totally unassuming sweet-as-pie demeanor was balanced by crazy-insane vocals (THAT TONE?! Don't get me started. I just. I'm obsessed, OK?) and a killer fashion sense. Or at least what has blossomed into such. As you mayyy or may not know, Dia wasn't always the old-Hollywood-channeling besequined glamourpuss you see above. *dun dun DUNNN* (BEETEEDUBS: Dia's coach, Blake Shelton, and his wife, Miranda Lambert, totally bought that dress for her AWWW!!!)

Jessica Simpson is one of those rare breeds of celeb designers whose collection actually fares well. And for J. Simp, her line has had more than just a little success, the Jessica Simpson Collection has taken off in a BIG way despite past backlash for allegedly wearing "mom jeans" (Suck it, naysayers! Also, high-waisteds have become totally IN, so who's laughing now?!). No joke, her sales are projected to push past the BILLION dollar mark, which is just such a crazy amount of money, it makes our eyes spin around revealing their B-side of little sparkly dollar signs. Given her ultra-fash-mogul status, it's no surprise that for its newest fash-reality competition show, Fashion Star, NBC elected Jess as the mentor for the show's aspiring designer contestants.
