Happy Monday: here are some pictures from my weekend I want to share with you. JUST KIDDING, these are pictures of Miley Cyrus performing at the iHeart Radio Music Festival in Las Vegas this weekend. Well, Miley has certainly turned up the heat on her performance wardrobe, and it seems, IT'S GOTTEN SO HOT SHE'S HAD TO REMOVE ALL HER CLOTHES. Her first outfit (on the right) was similar to the one she wears in the "Wrecking Ball" video, as well in the trailer for the Miley: The Movement—the girl loves a white crop top with white bottoms like none other. Unlike her other crop tops, which existed on their own, this white lace-up bustier is tied to her white scalloped shorts. It's a lace-up romper and is probably the most annoying piece of clothing in the world to take off.
Taylor Swift performing in Nashville.
Do we sense a trend? Last night, Taylor Swift wore a bejeweled Grand Ole Opry t-shirt to perform at the Grand Ole Opry. How meta of ya, Swifty. The shirt is currently on sale in the Opry's gift shop, so maybe Taylor spilled something on one of her striped performance shirts and needed a quick replacement? While a perfectly plausible scenario, it seems unlikely because A) Taylor Swift probably has never stained anything, and B) SHE'S WORN LOCATION-APPROPRIATE SHIRTS BEFORE. It should also be pointed out the shirt for sale is not bedazzled, which means this was a pre-meditated buy. +1 for the theory that Taylor never spills anything.
Miley Cyrus in a still from her MTV documentary.
Wow, y'all, wow. Did you guys catch the trailer for Miley: The Movement? We did and can't get over how many looks we peeped in under two minutes—how many outfits will be in the actual documentary on October 2, a million? The trailer gives us a glimpse into Miley's preparations for the VMAs and her life on the road, which A) does not look easy and B) requires quite a few wardrobe changes. So that you're well-versed in Miley style by the time the documentary hits TVs for real, we've broken down the trailer look by look, including each *bling* look. Yeah, we're that thorough when it comes to Miley.

Are you in the market for some gently worn clothing and/or shoes? Would you be into paying a lot of money for clothing that was once worn by members of a boy band whom you love? Do you have the scientific knowledge to extract DNA from worn clothing and then produce a clone from said DNA? Well, then, the stars have aligned for you! One Direction and Office Depot, as we know, have joined forces to produce back-to-school gear that is adorned with five QT faces. Now, fortunately for everyone in the world, Office Depot has gotten its hands on shirts, shoes, and pants worn by Harry, Niall, Liam, Zayn, and Louis and is auctioning them off for charity.
Hannah Montana WHO?
Get used to it, World. Miley Cyrus and her rear are here to stay, at least if the official promo photos from Bangerz are any indication. And you know what? She’s got some choice words for all the haterz out there: (SEE PHOTO ABOVE). Provocatively crouched on an armchair in black-and-white checkered pants, a plain white sports bra and her super-lux, mink-lined, gold Celine sandals (which come in at a cool $910 – NBD), Miley makes quite the statement amid a shady rain forest that’s seemingly set up with electrical outlet capabilities.
Katy Perry's 2013 VMA outfits.

One 2013 VMA performer, three looks. That's right, show closer Katy Perry didn't end her night in her boxing gear, but changed yet again, into a very familiar look. As we know, the "Roar" singer kicked off the night, on the red carpet, in a long-sleeved, knee-length, Emanuel Ungaro animal print FW13 dress and a sparkly set o'grillz. She then showed us how to "Roar" under the Brooklyn Bridge, where she performed her new single for the first time, decked out in boxing gear, including an animal-print sports bra.
One Direction preps for their third Today Show performance..

They boys are back in town, y'all! The One Direction machine never stops: after attending the premiere of their movie, This Is Us, a mere three days ago, the group is back in NYC to attend the American movie premiere, perform on the Today Show, and present an award at the VMAs, NBD. Seems like a relaxing vacay to New York, JK!
Greta Gerwig at the 2013 CFDA Awards.

Greta Gerwig's onscreen alter-ego in the new indie movie Frances Ha might be a little bit bumbling and slightly (OK, really) awkward, but that doesn't make her struggling Brooklyn dancer protagonist any less lovable. In fact, it's these imperfections, along with her off-kilter clothing collection, that keep Frances true to life and SO freaking lovable. Her character's uniform consists mainly of thrifted ill-fitting bomber jackets and leggings over sundresses, but in real life, Greta Gerwig's wardrobe is far from schleppy. The actress, writer, and director has earned rising style star status over the past couple of years, fronting Band of Outsiders' ad campaign, going punk for the Met Gala, and just this week, was a total breath of fresh air dressed in a white pantsuit at the CFDA Awards. Before she takes off to promote Frances Ha overseas, Greta called to chat about the story behind the movie's costumes and her trick to staying sane on the red carpet.
It was the fashion mystery of the internet just mere days ago: WHO designed Katniss' wedding dress in these new The Hunger Games: Catching Fire character portraits? Well, the answer has emerged... and it's not who we (or anyone else, really) predicted! According to The Hollywood Reporter, the creation comes courtesy of Indonesian designer Tex Saverio. They got the scoop from the flick's costume designer herself, Trish Summerville, who revealed, "Katniss’ white gown is by a designer named Tex Saverio in Jakarta. He is amazing! I found his designs quite some time ago and saved his information for a perfectly fitting project, then came Catching Fire – perfect!" Inspired by a dress he had debuted earlier, which came adorned with a metal bodice, the wedding gown has a similar metal top. But THIS time, it's covered in Swarovski crystals, pieces rising up intended to represent fire, as well as Mockingjay-esque feathers.
