There are tons of ways to top off your look this season, but we're declaring 2012 THE summer of the turban. Yes, it's totally happening. The twisted fabric headwear has historical roots dating back thousands of years to the Byzantine Empire, but nowaways you can find current stylesetters like Mary-Kate Olsen, Rachel Zoe, and Solange rocking the look, making it a certifiable fashion trend. And here's the best part about turbans: besides the fact that they're totally affordable (you can even DIY it yourself with a scarf!), this is one headband alternative that you can literally wear year round. So even if this summer is the turban's time to shine, we've got a feeling we'll be wearing ours even after the temperatures drop. Get inspired by these three stylish bloggers below!

If you're addicted to denim like we are (um, or just looking for an excuse to buy more), then good news! Your basic blues are about to get a makeover, thanks to a MAJOR dip dye moment happening in the fashion world right now. Dries Van Noten first showed its version of this one-two punch last year on the Spring/Summer 11 runway, and it's held steady ever since- but you don't have to drop hundreds of dollars on a designer version to score the style for yourself. Topshop, JBrand, ASOS and Free People all offer their own takes on the trend, whether it's bleach, ombre, or statement color-blocking. Or if you're the adventurous type, all it takes is a bottle of Chlorox, an old pair of jeans, and a free afternoon to craft your DIY version. Whichever method you choose to take, these three bloggers show you how to work your dip dye denim afterward.

If there's one wardrobe staple you're going to need this summer, it's sunglasses. But with all the stylish sunnies out there, how do you CHOOSE? Well, we know one thing's for sure—round glasses are going to be bigger than ever this year (we mean that literally AND figuratively), so we think that's the perfect place to start. Whether you go '60s mod or '80s glam, there's a set of circular sunglasses sure to fit your style. We perused the internet for three bloggers who showed us how to wear round sunnies in totally different (but equally awesome) ways, so check out the deets of their too-cool-for-school ensembles below!

Last week we asked everyone to show us the coolest ways you wear your hats, and boy, did you deliver! From fedoras to floppy felt ones to even a furry number, you guys showed us the best ways to literally top off your outfits. These insta-accessories serve as sun protectors, a potential disguise (hey, you never know who you're going to run into...) and are undoubtedly the easiest way to spice up an otherwise boring wardrobe. They've been all over the catwalks the past few seasons, but you definitely don't have to go all-out with oversized toppers a la Louis Vuitton FW12 or commit to the crazy floral hoods that stomped down the runway at Dolce and Gabbana in order to get in on the trend. Whether you decide to pair yours with a sundress, a miniskirt, or just blue jeans, these girls will teach you how put a lid on it.

Bloggers,collars

Blame it on the dogs or your awkward elementary school days, but collars don't exactly have the best rap. Sure, they're great for prep school uniforms and all, but collared shirts? Not exactly "Fashion" (yes, with a capital F). That is, until Alexa Chung was photographed traipsing around in Peter Pan collar dresses, designers like Karl Lagerfeld, Sonia Rykiel and Marni showed them on the runway, and we finally came to our senses and realized that collars, particularly those of the detachable variety, are actually kind of amazing. These double-duty accessories can be worn with a lower-cut top as a necklace alternative, with a button-up blouse to fake the real thing, or thrown over a t-shirt for an injection of insta-cool. Bottom line: you need to add a multitasking collar to your wardrobe NOW, and these stylish ladies will show you how to rock it.

Back in November, online clothing retailer ModCloth launched a contest for aspiring designers and fans to submit sketches of garments they wanted to see made into REAL LIFE pieces. After the top picks were voted on via Facebook, ModCloth got to work and debuted the garments online just this week. Which means—YES, YOU CAN BUY THEM RIGHT NOW. Eeeee! The pieces in the Make The Cut collection include everything from a cocktail-ready tulle dress to a breezy floral ruffled top. Some of our favorite frocks from the collection include a strappy navy polka dot dress, a bright gold scalloped-edge number with a blue belt, and a pretty red and white vintage-inspired frock.

There's no doubt about it: bike shorts are tough to pull off. But after spotting them on the runways of designers like Alexander Wang and Richard Chai, we've been looking for an excuse to prove the haters wrong and rock the skin-tight spandex in real life-NOT just on the bike trail. Luckily, these amazing style bloggers are ready to teach us all how to incorporate this sporty staple into our wardrobe in cool and surprisingly fashionable ways (besides slipping them under too-short dresses, of course...) So whether you're in the mood to dress girly, tomboyish, or somewhere in between, here's a lesson in athletic attire for real life.

As the weather gets warmer, skirts are officially going to become THE staple in our summery wardrobes. One of our favorite (but not too frilly!) pieces is the pleated skirt. It's feminine and sooo breezy on ultra hot days, unlike the the bandage or pencil skirt. We love the fresh silhouette and texture it adds to any ensemble and how good it looks at any length! Don't believe us? Peep these three style bloggers who looked mega cute in a maxi, midi, AND mini skirt. Get the deets below!
