It seems like forever since we freaked out over the news that Marni would be collabing H&M for a spring collection. But guess what? Spring is here, y'all, meaning these pieces are about to become a serious reality. The collection covers everything from loose colorblock dresses to printed pajama suits to cool oversized parkas—the quirky pieces toned down by solid, summery staples. Some of our favorites include the short-sleeve white and black mod leather jacket, a silk jewel tone polka dot pencil skirt, a sequin collar necklace, black and gray polka dot trousers, a '70s print silk hooded dress, and stacked green and black platforms.

The men's collection features everything from playful suits to Bermuda shorts with tons of wardrobe basics, and, not to be weird, but we're totally planning on scoping out the goodies in the guys section too. I mean, how could we pass up an oversized striped cashmere sweater that we could wear over everything? Sorry, boys! We think the whole modern-tribal-meets-Bauhaus-graphics came alive in their spring collection, and honestly, we can't even decide which piece we want to get our hands on first. The price point ranges between $19.95 (for the sequin collar) and $149 (for the hooded dress), and if you're planning on saving up, you've only got a couple weeks left! The collection hits select stores worldwide and online March 8, so start making your wishlist/getting your camping gear ready now.

I'm OBSESSED with accessories. Like possibly in an unhealthy way. And if there's one label I come back to again and again (and proudly profess as my favorite *cough* dinosaur necklace *cough*), it's London's Tatty Devine. Launched in 1999, by friends and artistic duo Rosie Wolfenden and Harriet Vine, Tatty Devine makes bold accessories designed around a theme. What started as a few strips of leather turned into makeshift cuffs has blossomed into collections including everything from guitar pick pins and name necklaces to potato chip earrings and hats in the shape of watermelon slices. You guys, their stuff is GAHHHMAZING. Also, they're totally a favorite of Jessie J and Girls' Generation and are featured regularly in Teen Vogue. And on top of having two London shops and a new concept store in the super kewl Selfridges store (with someone laser cutting necklaces to order!), they sell all of their pieces online and ship worldwide. We spoke with Tatty's Harriet Vine in London, and not only did she give us a peek into what went into making their spring 2012 collection, she gave us a sneak peek at their FALL 2012 collection inspired by spooky English gardens…

MTV Style: How did you and Rosie start Tatty Devine?
Harriet Vine: We didn't even plan on having an accessory company! We just liked making stuff. We used to make stuff, go out, wear it, and ruin it. One night when I came home from the pub, I found 18 sacks of leather sample books on the street outside an old upholstery shop. I wrapped a bit of leather 'round my wrist and tied together with an old hair clip. Everyone was like, "I like your cuff, that's so cool." So Rosie and I cut the leather into strips and we sold them all at Camden Market. We didn't have proper fastenings, so we just invented this arrowhead on one end and a slot on the other to hold it together, and we sold them. Rosie was wearing this hairband that she customized [one Friday], and this stylist came by and liked it. She was from Vogue, and by Monday morning we had to take our collection into the Vogue offices! We didn't have a collection, so we made one that weekend.

What inspired the spring collection? It looks very Mexican-esque…
Yes, mostly the food and the smells but also the paper flowers [of Mexico]. I was really drawn to crepe paper flowers. All the colorful paper and piñatas… I tried to make a piñata but it didn't turn out right. Also, sugar skulls and Frida [Kahlo]. She's a cool lady isn't she? We couldn't not include her or the flowers in her hair. I've never wanted to do flowers, but it was really what tied the whole collection together.

Tatty Devine Large Melon Necklace, Parakeet Necklace, Corn on the Cob Necklace, and Blue Posie Ring.
Photo: Courtesy of Tatty Devine

How do you and Rosie create a collection together?
We start by looking at things at home and emailing each other. Like, "Oh, I quite fancy this." And we go out to a lot of the same things so we get influenced by the same stuff, and then we get inspired and obsessed with the same stuff. It develops gradually and starts with conversation. It's a dialogue between Rosie and me.

How do you show your collection and get it out there?
We show it at London Fashion Week. We have a stand and people can come and look. It used to be buyers, but now it's press and bloggers. We show it in Paris, as well. It's nice to have the seasons and helps give us a structure.

A look at Tatty Devine's Fall 2012 collection.
Photo: John William/Tatty Devine

What does your fall 2012 collection look like?
There's paisley—like a megatastic crystal action necklace. It's taking ideas from textiles and recreating them, linking shapes together. There's loads of English spooky garden action going on, too. It's very musty. There are grapes, like opulent Caravaggio grapes that might be poisonous. I haven't gotten over the flower thing. It's gone from big Mexican paper flowers to poisonous plants and deadly night shade. It's the first time we're using semi-precious [stones], too. There's agate, yellow jade, and the Perspex is heated and drooping like a flower.

Also, you have a book coming out, right?
Yes! We did a book and Penguin are going to publish it in the U.S. It's called How to Make Jewellery, and it's about how we started making jewelry. How to stick things onto things or what to expect if something snaps, or where to drill a hole… just all the things that are in my head about how to make [things] so they won't break. And there are projects like covering a pair of sunglasses in crystals so you can still see through them and how make a marble into a necklace, that kind of thing.

What advice would you give to other young people who might want to start their own DIY accessory line?
The most important thing is to be as original as you can. There's always something you need to make.

This colorful Uniqlo campaign could not be coming at a better time. With the climbing temperatures and sunny skies, we are definitely coming down with a case of SPRING FEVER! While I suppose this candy-hued campaign starring Rookie editor Tavi Gevinson and Cyndi Lauper isn't curing it per se (OK, it's totally amplifying it), we couldn't be more welcome to see bold flashes of color and slip into a pair of these saturated skinnies. The two bold ladies, along with a grip of models, show their *achem* True Colors for the Japanese clothing brand's colored jeans AND the recently released Orla Kiely collab!

Had Tavi's background been a yellow seamless, we would've had a gang of "Heart of Gold" puns, too, in light of her recent performance of the Neil Young track during New York Fashion Week. But alas, it is not, which is a good thing because this rosy backdrop is way more complementary to her quirky gingham + cornflower blue + saddle-shoes look. And so, we offer you the OG music video for Cyndi Lauper's "True Colors" in all its lopsided referential glory.

A time to take stock and truly think about what trends to incorporate into your new fall wardrobe. It's also a time to look at videos made whilst one is tired and strangely retaining water in one's puffy moonface against the backdrop of spliced-in photos of models looking waifish and extra cheek-boney. SERIOUSLY, do I look like this? Also, don't answer that.

So, on to the point! Here, we have created a video for you that includes the four most notable trends of the season as gauged by prevalence on the runway: loooooong, lean lengths; leather; fur; and artful collars. From Rodarte's shearling dress to Herve Leger by Max Azria's leather harnesses, to the ubiquity of a thing called "gorilla arms," here is my enormous head looming before you in hopefully a nonthreatening (at the very least) manner to <del datetime="2012-02-22T19:32:34+00:00">spasm </del>chat about a New York Fashion Week fall trend cheat sheet.
It's no secret that standout collars are a huge trend this year (proof: peep the fall NYFW runway), but Taylor Swift threw us for a loop when she stepped out with an illusion Peter Pan neckline on her dress. The nonexistent collar made just as much of statement, and it's not even there! (Is this, like, one of those Magic Eye things but IRL? *cue Twilight Zone theme song*) This girly nude frock is straight from Honor's spring 2012 runway, which featured this thought-provoking neckline on other ensembles. Taylor paired this dress with soft bangs, a low chignon, delicate gold earrings, and matching nude peep-toe slingbacks.

Now that we've picked our brain up off the floor, we can actually assess this dress for what it is: a simple champagne ruffled frock with, as Honor calls it, an "absent collar." We have to say that we're super giddy seeing Taylor in something new, and we give major props to the designer for constructing boning in the bodice that could make this look work. Plus, doesn't this do leaps and bounds for the future of frocks? Suddenly the lack of something in a dress adds more to the look, like Katy Perry's infamous 2009 EMA Viktor & Rolf gown with bits tulle completely chopped out of the dress. We're totally on board this fresh take on the cutout trend that doesn't involve the overtired splicing of fabric from the stomach area. But what do you think: Do you like Taylor's edgy red carpet dress?

Magazine covers excite then wither like the ebb and flow of a rollicking ocean tide. We get all worked up about the oncoming wave of a new actress or musician-adorned mag cover then forget all about it until the next titillating subject matter presents itself. Because information is delivered at lightning bolt-speed, when a fashion editor and famous person are spied sitting next to each other at an event or an actress in a ball gown stands next to a designer in Paris (hi, Kristen), we all begin to speculate on if there's a cover in the works. Usually, there is. Case in point, at New York Fashion Week last year, Nicki Minaj sat in the front row next to Anna Wintour at the Carolina Herrera show and we speculated that Minaj would be on a Vogue cover. Well, we were half right. Nicki M isn't on the cover, but she is featured in the March issue of Vogue with an in-depth interview. But more than that, SHE'S BLUE. Like totally and completely full out Smurfette BLUE. Let's discuss, shall we?

Shot by renowned fashion photog Steven Klein, Ms. M vamps it up in a pale pink curly wig, crimson Marilyn Monroe-esque dress, matching red gloves, and, well, a ton of blue makeup. It's as if she actually turned blue and brings to mind the deceased Miss Argentina character from the movie Beetlejuice. We're loving this look, though! It's a bizarre and arresting image that someone like Nicki M can truly pull off. Also, the interview with writer Lynn Yaeger reveals a different side of the hip-hop superstar. She opens up about her personal style, telling Yaeger, "If I can combine designer things with other things, I'm a happy camper." We're guessing the designer part comes in the form of accessories, because Miss Superbass spends a bazonkers amount of moolah on tipping out her tootsies. Minaj tells Vogue that she used to spend $50,000 a month on "Giuseppe, Versace, YSL, and Fendi shoes" and also admits that she "bought tons of Vuitton bags."

But Nicki Minaj isn't all about stepping out in the latest designer accoutrement; she's also into empowering young women. Aside from treating a bunch of fans to dinner at a local restaurant recently, she revealed that she has a foundation in the works. "The Nicki Minaj girl is a fun, artsy girl who can become a fierce force to be reckoned with on Wall Street!" she tells the magazine, "...I tell them, go to school, be ambitious." We can get behind those words, too. Hmmm, could a Nicki Minaj COURSE be in the works? With everything from tips on investing and managing finances to wearing monastic Versace? Sign us up!

Add Chloë Moretz to the long list of pretty young things experimenting with multicolored hair dye. The pint-sized starlet has just joined the legion of pink ladies, following recent additions Iggy Azalea with pink ombre waves, Lauren Conrad's chalk-dyed bun, and Dakota Fanning's brief stint of pink tips. But Chloë puts her own spin on the trend, only adding a hint of streaky color to the right-hand side and underlayer of her mane. This subtle asymmetrical approach makes for a kind of convertible dye job (aka the best kind ever).

It was only a matter of time before the foul-mouthed Kick-Ass star tinted up her locks, but we're really impressed at the refreshing versatility of her execution here. Rather than going for a full head hue à la Katy Perry, just a touch of pink keeps Chloe's look edgy when she wants it to be without complicating things if an event calls for a more conservative aesthetic. Essentially, you're getting the best of both worlds with this style: Wear your hair down, and it's prim and proper; wear it up, and let your freak flag fly! #GENIUS

We have to agree with Rollacoaster magazine's cover line "We Heart Solange" because what's not to like about Beyoncé's fresh and fashion-forward younger sis? She's constantly impressing us with her wonderfully unconventional wardrobe choices (have you been following her daily outfits on Vogue UK?) so we were beyond stoked when we spotted Sol fronting the British mag. On the cover, Solange wears a popped collar denim jacket by Levi's and amazing hexagonal Oliver Goldsmith sunglasses. She kept her hair and makeup au naturel, adding a cool '70s feel to the shoot.

Solange Knowles in "Rollacoaster" magazine.
Photo: Courtesy of "Rollacoaster"/Danielle Levitt

Inside the mag, Solange sports a light chambray Levi's shirt paired with dark denim and a yellow and white handkerchief. She made her Canadian tuxedo look chic with some seriously dark lined eyes and a model-esque pose. (She was signed to Next Models, after all.) In a more summery casual ensemble, she wears a relaxed mint green tee and denim cutoff shorts with a huge smile. Oddly enough, Solange's low-key vibe is a huge part of who she is and not just what she wears! She opened up about being Bey's sister and said, "It was an insane learning process for me to have a big sister like that—to be able to see the good, the bad, and everything in between that comes with fame and success, and to know what I was getting myself into. But I really enjoy my privacy and being able to walk my son to school every morning and pick him up every afternoon. I know that I couldn't do that if I was at the next level—privacy, as you know, it just doesn't belong to you anymore. I definitely made a conscious effort to stay as low key as I can and still do what I want to do."

We've often wondered why it's taken so long for magazines to get on the ol' web band(width)wagon. Not to be all sassy-pants about it—because believe me, I am OBSESSED with printed magazines—but promoting your issue online in interesting ways is kind of where it needs to be. Yes, we all enjoy seeing an artist or actress looking otherworldly on the cover of a magazine (hi, Adele), but teasing it online or throwing in some behind-the-scenes video or outtakes makes the lead up to the actual issue all the more exciting. Give us a craymazing GIF, however, and we'll go bazonkers bananas. Really, how many magazines have done this? Not many. And how many have done them as well as Vogue Italia just did? This is trailblazing territory! So, YES, look at this insane GIF above. That's Coco Rocha shot by Steven Meisel for the March issue of Vogue Italia wearing loud tropical prints, gargantuan drop earrings, blue and yellow shadowed eyes, and a Twix bathing cap while sipping some sort of fast food beverage she's clutching with mega-leopard nails. You guys, THERE ARE NO WORDS. Also? There's more...

Abbey Lee Kershaw for "Vogue Italia."
Photo: Steven Meisel/"Vogue Italia"

The shoot is entitled "Haute Mess" and we're inclined to agree. Both Rocha and model Abbey Lee Kershaw are almost unrecognizable in these over-the-top getups. Kershaw sports a blonde and brown striped Dynasty wig, fringed Western wear, layers of gold necklaces and rings, lined lips, red eyelids, drawn-on brows, and facial tear tattoos à la Lil Wayne. And is that a cow manicure we see? Why yes, yes it is. WHAT IS THIS FASHION SHOOT?! It's gahmazing is what it is. We love that Vogue Italia and Meisel really went for something different and totally within the fashion vernacular. It's all about loud prints, clashing colors, and nail art these days, and it's refreshing to see such a major magazine having fun with these trends in a somewhat grotesque way. We can't WAIT for this issue (and will gladly shell out for it) nor for more GIFs (hopefully) from the VI webteam. This is how it's done, people.

Though it's technically Tuesday, we'd consider Rihanna's big night at the 2012 BRIT Awards to be the perfect exclamation point ending to her super eventful birthday weekend. The beauty from Barbados won big tonight, taking home the coveted International Female Solo Artist award and bringing down the house with an inspired performance of her earwormy hit "We Found Love." On the sartorial side of things (isn't that what we're all really waiting to see at these awards shows??), Ri transformed her look completely from red carpet to stage, gliding seamlessly from eveningwear to street staples.

Robyn stunned on the event's step and repeat in this crystal embellished bronze Givenchy Couture gown. Her newly blonde locks were pulled up into a regal updo to showcase the dress's elegant T-shaped back and not compete with the plunging neckline and metal ring detail. Also, the anti-fussy 'do helped freshen up the heavy effect of those chestnut leather gloves pulled up nearly to her armpits. A thigh-high slit revealed Rihanna's footwear of choice: gown-matching Givenchy diamante peep-toes. Ri proved she's no one-note lady, though, and from this sultry high-fashion look, she then moved to a more free-spirited performance outfit.

Rihanna got in touch with her performance artist side for "We Found Love," setting it all against the backdrop of three giant see-through cubes teeming with scantily clad dancers armed with buckets of neon paint. There was splattering, reckless limb flailing, and even a black light or two - a full-on raucous PAINT PARTY. Ri opted out of the chignon in favor of free-flying curls to complement her downtown chic stagewear: an oversized sweater with ripped details worn over teeny tiny white cut-offs, fishnet stockings, and classic Timbs. She manages to get through most of the song unscathed, but by the end of the performance and press room time, she's decked in head-to-toe paint smatterings.

Thankfully, she was just wearing a wig (imagine the tonsorial NIGHTMARE that shower would have been if not) and her color-soaked togs were left out to dry. Half of us hopes she recycles the outfit for future street style sightings (*cue an amaaaaazing follow-up post*), but the other half wants to happen upon them in the middle of some routine eBay trolling. #wishfulthinking
