Dudes, we need to talk. Specifically, about floral crowns. The beautiful flowers of the world are suddenly going straight from the fields to our foreheads, and it ain't stopping any time soon. We don't mean to point fingers, but we're 99.9% sure this is all Lana Del Rey's fault. She's a flower crown-wearing FIEND, and she's warmed us up to the fact that it's totally OK to wear roses in our hair. In fact, this trend has spread so far that even guys are beginning to sport these bad boys as hair accessories. Uh huh, GUYS. *hides nearest bouquet of flowers from boyfriend* We'll admit we were a bit skeptical of this trend at first, but we've seen sooo many bloggers posting the most 'DORBS floral crown outfits as of late, we can't even deny it anymore—they look dang cute. It adds an instant touch of softness to even the most edgy ensemble and pulls the entire badass boho chic look together in seconds flat.
Charli XCX is the perfect combination of goth beauty and pop princess.
Photo: Courtesy Charli XCX
Once upon a time, a budding 19-year-old Brit pop starlet with a thing for killer platform sneaks and rave-y, lush pop gems emerged, citing style influences like the Spice Girls and Wednesday Addams. *DEAD* Her name is Charli XCX, and she made me believe in pop fairytales again, by transporting me to the immaculate years aka 95-97, at a time when tattoo chokers and fluffy doodle pens were still waaay in (and pre-Ginger Spice's devastating exit). Thanks for that, girl. Let's just avoid discussing her Refinery29 shoot which involves a purple velvet dress paired with shredded tights a la Angela Chase, because tears will def happen. #SOGOOD. But you'd never guess Charli was a grunge-y kind of girl when peeping her Carine Roitfeld-styled V Magazine cover, in which she and her fellow cuties, Grimes and Sky Ferreira, WERK it in matching Givenchy, blood red pouts and Robert Palmer-tinged slicked back buns, all the while clutching *SPINE SHIVERS!* mice. Her latest video for "You're The One" is all sorts of heart-exploding-into-rainbow-fireworks kinds of amazing, and, duh, so are her favorite fashion-y things which resulted in major closet envy/fake-tattoo-purchasing-at-local-suburban-Claire's. In short, IAMOBSESSED.com. *Runs to Patricia Field, buys entire stock of skeleton glasses*

Hey peplum, we're onto you! We can't stop spotting stars sporting this throwback trend (see: the 2012 Movie Awards), so it was only a matter of time before we started to see it take over fashion blogs. We have to say, though, we've peeped the peplum skirt and dress done many a time before, so we though we'd do a different take on the trend—peplum tops. Clever, eh? We think so. Check out how three bloggers all across the globe wore their peplum pieces below!
Colton Haynes in the July/August issue of 'Essential Homme.'

If y'all aren't watching Teen Wolf right now, you're missing out on some serious amazingness. See: One of the show's stars Mr. Colton Haynes (above). This TV drama is not only a killer (heh) show, but it's also bringing to light some of the rising Young Hollywood talent and their incredible style. We already knew that Colton has some serious acting chops, but, um, we're prettttty sure modeling couture clothes comes in at a close second. Colton covers the July/August issue of Essential Homme and his sultry summery spread is surely making our heads spin! In a dramatic (and inviting!) poolside shot, Colton sports a cashmere Gucci cardigan with nothing underneath (GULP) paired with floral jacquard Gucci pants that we LOVE. He finished the look with some patent leather Hermès oxfords and a clean-cut 'do. Mmmmm.

We. Love. Johnny. Wujek. The man behind Katy Perry's on and off stage ensembles never ceases to wow us with his whimsical sartorial creations-from the spinning peppermint bra to the light up Met Ball gown. With an upcoming television debut as an America's Next Top Model creative consultant, and a major movie now in theaters (which, as you know, we LOVED), Wujek shows no signs of slowing any part of his career down. Did we mention his "Call Me Maybe" cover alongside his celebrity gal pal? Right. Killin' it. We all know the Johnny Wujek creation story by now: Katy bounced over to him at a party, asked him which team he was playing for, "mine or his," indicating a male friend, Wujek said, "his," and a beautiful partnership was born. She asked to borrow a dress, he clothed a budding pop star, she fought for him when she got famous...the rest is history. So, who is the man behind the glitter and the whipped cream-shooting bra? We already showed you his favorite things, now it's time to hear a little more from the man himself.

Remember a few months ago when we deemed sneaker wedges the "it" shoe for spring? Well, consider us (partially) wrong—sneaker wedges are the "it" shoe for spring and summer. We see no signs of the sporty trend slowing thanks to the endless amounts of ways you can wear this comfy wardrobe staple (think: tulle skirts to floral pants). It has not only inspired girls across the globe to sport sneakers with literally every type of outfit, but it has straight-up sparked an entire resurgence of sneaker culture that we haven't seen in awhile, which means we MUST dedicate this week's style blogger post to the dopest high top ensembles on the interwebs. From pretty and whimsical to bold and badass, we love how these ladies sported sneakers in three totally different ways.
Victoria Justice for V Magazine.

There are many people we really truly love here at MTV Style. One is Victorious star Victoria Justice who we're having a great time watching grow up into a full-fledged fashionista right before our eyes. Another is the positively RADIANT Drew Barrymore, mastermind director behind the Best Coast "Our Deal" supervideo. You can imagine, then, our unbridled SMILE ATTACK upon first glance of this Drew-shot feature of Justice in the latest issue of V Magazine.
Happy July, y'all! Whether you've already gotten a head-start on your Independence Day festivities or you're about to embark on your star-spangled holiday soon, let Selena Gomez and her summer-ready snapshots be a style inspiration to us all. The screen starlette turned pop star turned celebrity designer modeled a nautical striped swimsuit and a pair of heart-shaped tortoiseshell sunnies from her summer Dream Out Loud collection for KMart. The sun-kissed look was perfectly complemented by her newly auburn ombre hair and minimal makeup. But her sartorial side project isn't the only thing Selena shared this weekend! *rubs hands together menacingly*
Miley Cyrus on June 25.
Photo: Splash News/Courtesy of Forever 21 and Urban Outfitters
Miley Cyrus is making it easier than ever to cop to her street savvy style! The recently-engaged singer stepped out in a super cool summery ensemble that we wanted to get our hands on IMMEDIATELY. Lucky for us, we found out where to buy her effortlessly-cool look for under $100. (Don't worry, you can thank us later.) Her sheer, over-sized yellow sweater from Forever 21 is currently on sale for $8.99. We repeat: MILEY'S SWEATER COSTS LESS THAN 10 BUCKS. She tucked her comfy top into a pair of shredded black jean studded shorts, which we LOVE. She purchased these bad boys from Urban Outfitters for $79, and we think it's totally worth dropping the extra dollars on this wardrobe staple. I mean, what won't these shorts go with? *crickets* Exaccctttly.
Lady Gaga arrives in Melbourne, Australia, and Steven Tyler performs in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Far be it from us to suggest that Lady Gaga is swagger-jacking Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler. We're just saying, postulating rather, that perhaps Mother Monster has been catching up on episodes of American Idol while resting up after her Born This Way Ball concussion, and all those guest performances had a sartorial influence on the pop star. We can't shake how visibly inspired her Melbourne arrival togs appear to be. Crazier things have happened, right?
