Lana Del Rey photographed for H&M by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.

We usually prefer not to comment on rumors, but last month when we heard Lana Del Rey had signed a contract to be the new face of H&M, we just HAD to say SOMETHING. Well, turns out it was true!! Lana will be the face of the fall campaign, and will also appear in the company's holiday advertisements. In the first image from the campaign (above), Lana poses coyly in a peach colored sweater and matching pants. We love this textured take on monochrome *takes out notebook and jots down ideas,* and her stiletto nails are to die for. We're also glad to see that Lana's ever-growing hair shows no sign that it's going to deflate any time soon. Sources say that the campaign will also include a TV spot, and a cover of "Blue Velvet." Amazing.
Gwen Stefani in No Doubt's "Settle Down" video.
Photo: Interscope Records/Vevo
Considering it's been more than a decade since No Doubt's last studio album, did you really think Gwen Stefani and the rest of the So Cal crew would come back quietly? No way. The band took a hiatus after 2001's Rock Steady, and now these guys are back for good with their new single "Settle Down." They dropped the explosive track upon the world yesterday, and we've had the summer anthem on repeat ever since. But this morning we've found a whole new reason to obsess, since they've just released the song's equally awesome video. Directed by longtime collaborator Sophie Muller, the video stars the band as truck drivers heading to meet up after 10 years. It's a reunion, dance party and a fashion show, all crammed into one exhilarating 6-minute clip. Get the deets (plus the story behind Gwen's epic embellished pants) below!
Newsflash: this is Jeremy Scott's candy-colored world, and we're allllll just living in it. The guy behind Nicki Minaj's "Pink Friday" tour outfits, Rihanna's Cleopatra costume, and Blue Ivy's baby wing sneakers (awww!) has just released the lookbook for his Fall 2012 Jeremy Scott for Adidas collection. And yes, it's every bit as crazy, cool, and colorful as we've come to expect from the outrageously awesome designer. After all, there aren't many guys out there who can turn plush teddy bear hoodies into a fashion statement, but guess what- HE JUST DID.
Kanye West at the Louis Vuitton Paris Fashion Week Menswear A/W 2009 show.
Photo: Getty Images
You may remember that back in 2009, Kanye West uploaded a self-deprecating video of himself to his blog (R.I.P. KanyeUniverseCity) decreeing his new name: "Martin Louis The King, Jr." It was an attempt to make light of the fact that he and his (then) newest sneaker collaboration boasted the same name - the Louis Vuitton Don. And to comment on the waves he made sitting front row at Paris Fashion Week January that same year wearing the head-turning, cherry red kicks. Welp, now, more than THREE YEARS after that video and Kanye's ceremonious self-renaming, Jeremy Watt has developed the Kanye Nickname Generator which doles out über-fashionable monickers much like Yeezy's for all who dare to take part. Also, it desecrates any and all chances for productivity in your day. Don't say we didn't warn you.
If y'all don't know who boy band Big Bang is, you either A.) aren't on the internet NEARLY enough or B.) haven't discovered the amazingess that is K-pop. I mean, honestly, it's kind of impossible to avoid the K-pop invasion at this point—2NE1 is about to take over the U.S. with their first world tour and Big Bang has slowly won over our hearts with their affinity for Minx Nails (awww!) and killer fashion sense. The boys, G-Dragon, T.O.P, Taeyang, Daesung and Seungri, are notorious for their edgy style and flair for all-things fashion-y and fun, so when it comes to imitating them via nail art, it's not much different. First up, we loved this unbelievable set inspired by their Alive Monster Edition CD cover art and current world tour of the same name. Even the triangle logo is dead on. ME-OOOOWWWW.
Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell and Georgia May Jagger will all walk at the 2012 London Olympics Closing Ceremony.
Supermodels at the Olympics? What will they think of next? What was at first just a rumor has now been confirmed: an all star cast of British models will be taking to a specially designed catwalk as a part of the 2012 London Olympics Closing Ceremony, which is titled "A Symphony of British Music." The blowout celebration, which will also include performances from Adele, Queen, One Direction and George Michael, will showcase designers Vivienne Westwood and Alexandre McQueen. Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell and Georgia May Jagger will be joined on the runway by Stella Tennant, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and Lily Cole. Everyone appearing at the event is reportedly doing it purely for love of country--spokespeople for the Olympics say that the fee for each performer is a single pound, or, in US dollars, approximately $1.55.
House of Holland for Boots.

Between starring in Rihanna's new reality show Styled to Rock, chilling on rooftops and making sunnies with Iggy Azalea, and working on his own House of Holland fashion label, Henry Holland is one busy dude. But this London-based designer is adding yet another project to his already-stuffed schedule with a new beauty collection for Boots. In case you haven't had the chance to check out the U.K. pharmacy chain for yourself, Boots is basically a SUPER DRUGSTORE- it has your everyday basics like medicines and vitamins, but the chain also comes stocked with a supply of beauty products so totally awesome, it's almost worth the trip to England alone.
Iconic Lady Gaga outfits are reimagined for "Going Gaga!" comic book.

San Diego's International Comic-Con may be over for the year, but our cup runeth over with findings from the animated weekend. Between the amazing cosplayers and K.Stew off-duty outfits, we've unearthed (by way of Mother Monster's Twitter account) this seriously awesome Lady Gaga comic book which we vehemently refuse to shut up about! Michael Troy and his Going Gaga! are not the first to render Miss Germanotta in ink (see: Fame: Lady Gaga parts 1 AND 2), but it does a FANTASTIC job of reimagining some of our favorite music video and performance outfits from Gaga's sartorial colorful career thus far. *INSTA-smile attack*
Miley does her best duck lips with her new blond hair, skates down an LA street like a pro.
Photo: Miley Cyrus' Twitter/Splash News
It's been a pretty serious couple of months for Miley Cyrus, between her engagement to boyfriend Liam Hemsworth and subsequent talk about a baby in the not too distant future, the 19 year old singer-slash-actress has been growing up fast, to say the least. Sartorially, however, Miley's been right on track, rocking short shorts, graphic rompers and even some fresh ink. According to her Twitter, Miley's been on a bit of a skateboarding jag as of late, mentioning Vans (saying they're "So dope. So Classic."), Chanel decks (uh, wut?!), and debuting a new beach babe blond hairstyle. Is Miley just getting deeper into the California lifestyle, or are we going to be adding another hyphen followed by 'skater' to this renaissance woman's pedigree?
