We've officially entered the frantic mad-dash rush that is the holiday shopping season. If you haven't already depleted your wallets during last week's sweat-inducing Black Friday sale-a-palooza, then now's the time to get yourself in gear. Not only should the MTV Style Gift Guide help you decide what to get even the most fickle of friends and family members, please allow us to introduce you to one of the KEWLest shopping experiences EVAH, Nike's STADIUM MFG store. If there's a dude (or a lady) on your list that is into Nike, sportswear, or customizable, one-of-a-kind awesomeness, then let this be your one stop shopping destination for the more unique of gifts. We're not gonna lie, some of the items in this downtown NYC street wear depot are more for the dream gifts category, but take one look at that bespoke Destroyer jacket above and tell me you don't need to be rocking this with some black jeans and slouchy moto boots, ohhhh, RIGHT NOW.

OK, since we’re all in the trust circle of candor and love, let’s be honest. As much as the gift of giving is balblablablablbbaalbalblaGOODTIDINGS and despite how genuinely thoughtful we are (SO thoughtful) in getting just the right present for moms or boyf or bff or office randos we have $20 to secret Santa on, we’re also GREAT at shopping for ourselves. We work hard and shop hard (mostly because our jobs are all about finding what to buy? We’re SO lucky [also trapped in a vicious cycle of mild-to-distressing credit debt. Meow.]).

So while you’re out there braving the cold, hoofing through crowds, and throwing elbows with the pointiest, most determined of ‘em (always bring trail mix) make sure to consider what to haul home for yourself. Whether it’s a Hello Kitty toaster that actually TOASTS the Sanrio icon’s face straight onto bread (like those weirdo Virgin Mary/Shroud of Turin-ish “visions” that people get and put on the internet) or a new studded belt that goes with EVERYTHING or a “F*** it, I’m going to buy this leather jacket with the Liberty of London floral lining because IT’S ALL I SEE WHEN I CLOSE MY EYES AT NIGHT”-situation, make sure to bless yourself. And bless your people with this link because it’s basically your gift registry that they would do well not to stray from.YAY.

UGH. It is SO counterintuitive that shopping for your BFF is as tough as it is. You’d think knowing someone as well as your bestest pal in the whole wide world would make gift giving a cinch, but sometimes it’s the closeness that makes for a challenge. Plus, let’s be fair: You want to bless bestie with something super special but you don’t necessarily want to break the bank because it’s hella awks if you’re all, OH, here’s this sumptuous leather carryall in which you will discover your BRAND-NEW iPAAAAAAD *Oprah voice* and then your girlfriend is all, OH, sick, I got you this handmade potpourri sachet BECAUSE I HAVE NO JOB AND NOW I CAN’T EVEN LOOK AT YOU IN THE FACE RIGHT NOW. Worst.

So we’ve pooled a number of wonderful goods for every type of gal pal. From chocolate enrobed cupcakes to mittens to blankies to yoga mats to crossbody purses to earrings to RIDIC adorable pens, we’ve got needful things at every price point. All you have to do is figure out presentation and collect all the goodwill and bear hugs for being the BEST best friend EVER.

The Snooki Holiday Ornament.
Photo: Courtesy of Home Shopping Network

Here we go, y'all! Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, a delightfully jovial holiday in its own right in which you express gratitude for everything and everyone you're so lucky to have and enjoy in this world, and also pig out on so much deliciously sloth-inducing comfort food, but immediately after Turkey Day passes, the radio stations turn up those other winter holiday jams, retail spaces turn over stock and decor to the masters of red, green, and all that is white, and/or tinsel. But forget about all that for just a second and let's focus on today. This day that we're all living RIGHT NOW. It's special, too, you know? Namely because it's the lovely Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi's day of birth! In honor of this collision of excuses for merrymaking, we're directing your attention to one singular object with the ability to tie it all together: the Snooki ornament.

Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift at Madison Square Garden on Nov. 22.
Photo: WireImage

Remember when we spotted Taylor Swift sporting a supercool arm lyric tattoo yesterday while performing at Madison Square Garden? Well, she performed at the famous NYC venue again last night, but this time *gasp* SELENA GOMEZ SHOWED UP. We could barely contain our excitement when we heard they'd be doing an onstage duet together because, um, they are both the cutest singers we have EVER seen. Right as our head was about to explode from all that adorableness, it turns out the cutest part of the whole shebang happened backstage! Selena was spotted with T-Swift wearing a "Speak Now" tour tee with Taylor on it. Awwww! How cute is that?! She not only supports her friend by showing up to her concerts, but ALSO by buying the merch. Killer!

fair isle gloves pendleton hat madewell scarf

Helllloooo, HOLIDAY! Ah, yes, Thanksgiving is finally upon us and all we can think about is pumpkin pie, mountains of dried leaves, and frosty mugs of cocoa in our idyllic futures. Turkey Day isn't just about giving thanks and eating too much turkey (or Tofurky, whatever your poison) it's also about celebrating the joy of the autumnal season even if you live somewhere a bit more balmy (or, you know, in a city high-rise devoid of character). This is the time of year, nay WEEK, when wearing orange, feathers, and leaf motifs makes sense while also adding a thematic touch to your feast day proceedings. Thus, to get in the ol' giant inflatable balloon spirit, we've put together the perfect set of T-Day accessories to suit your every need whether you're attending a parade, lunching at grandmas, or just kicking back with friends.

These Fairisle Long Gloves ($38) SCREAM Thanksgiving Day right? Not only are they in a fall-ish Fair Isle print, the color is all about pumpkins, cranberries, and gravy. (Nom nom nom.) Their long length makes them extra perfect for chillier evenings, too. They'd look fantastic paired with this Pendleton Indy Hat ($62), which is very trend savvy and begging to be taken on a T-Day hike or jumping into leaf mounds. Toss this Madewell Plaid Gentleman Scarf ($49.50) over it all and you're good to go for football gaming, parade cheering, or just cozying up on the couch.

We're already WELL aware that Rihanna is the gorgeous face (and bod!) of the Armani Jeans and Emporio Armani Underwear campaigns, but we had no idea that a designer collab was also in the works! *high five* Rihanna and Armani created a capsule collection that includes everything from distressed denim and cotton tees to lacy lingerie and motorcycle jackets. The collection will hit Emporio Armani, Macy's, and Bloomingdale's stores in mid-December as well as online. So, let's peep some of the pieces from the collection, shall we?

Nicki Minaj, Amy Heidemann, and Audrina Patridge wear the best shoes of the week.
Photo: Getty Images

Okay, we're still nursing our 2011 American Music Awards hangover, still going over the pics, reliving the mems (that's short for "memories"), rehashing our fave momes. Tuesday rolls around and it's time to recap the best shoes of the week. Well, two and two makes four, and all of the above amounts to an AMA-themed Shoe Update brought to you by performer and winner Nicki Minaj, newcomer (and also winner!) Amy Heidemann of Karmin, and red carpet host Audrina Patridge. Real talk, though. We should make it perfectly clear that even though these well-heeled ladies and their respective footwear and all having stepped out in their finest to the same event do wrap things up oh so tidily, make no mistake that we did, in fact, scour through the entire week's shoes, Tuesday to Tuesday, and these three were head and shoulders (or shall we say heels and ankles?) above the rest.

Elle Fanning at the 2011 Children of Chernobyl's Children at Heart gala and Chloë Moretz at the "Hugo" premiere on Nov. 21, 2011, in New York City.
Photo: WireImage/Getty Images

It could just be us, but it seems like Chloë Moretz and Elle Fanning could be best pals. Aside from being talented (and precocious) young actresses, they're both only a year apart in age (Chloë is 14, Elle is 13), and they vaguely look like sisters. We're also basing our BFF assessment on the fact that they recently showed up to two different events wearing similar outfits. At a Children of Chernobyl charity event, Elle wore a demure and age-appropriate pale pink dress cinched with pink bows near the waist. Miss Moretz also wore bows to the premiere of her new film Hugo. Her neutral Dolce & Gabbana ballerina dress featured a whole row of flattened bows down the bodice. Both dresses featured bare arms, too, and both ladies wore their blonde hair parted down the middle. But, seriously, why aren't Elle and Chloë hanging out braiding friendship bracelets right now?

I love these two as a couple. What a festive way to celebrate two important events in their life. Mariah looks like a dream.
