Last night's Gossip Girl picks back up where last week's episode left off: the earth-shaking news that Chuck's (Ed Westwick) long-lost father, Bart Bass (Robert John Burke), has made a comeback from the grave. The truth comes out that Bart never actually died. In an effort to escape death threats and protect Chuck and Lily (Kelly Rutherford), he fabricated the entire thing with a little help from Diana Payne (Elizabeth Hurley).
When Chuck finds himself in such tumultuous circumstances, it's only natural that salt would be rubbed in old wounds. Of course Blair (Leighton Meester) must come to his rescue as his greatest pillar of support, but in doing so, she causes a little jealousy to flair up in her Lonely Boy beau, Dan (Penn Badgley). Serena (Blake Lively) comes to Dan's aide as a generous ear and a level-headed expert on B, but does this mean more than one old flame is being rekindled on the Upper East Side? The whole gang, Nate (Chace Crawford), Lola (Ella Rae Peck), and even Ivy (Kaylee Defer), teams up for Chuck's benefit, but if you haven't caught up yet, we won't spoil the rest for you. Check back here weekly for our fashion recap!

Queen of beauty extremes Katy Perry will never say die when it comes to a radical new look, so it's no surprise that she's taken 3-D nails to the extreme(-ly awesome) with her latest mani. In a photo posted on her Twitter, Perry shows off her botanical talons, which pump up a beige, neon, and pastel nail with pop-up red and pink roses. Not to be outdone, the look also wraps around Perry's fingers, making her photo-accompanying caption, "my fingers are in FULL bloom today," nowhere near an understatement. Get a closer look after the jump!
So, you've sorted out your nail designs, got your hair game figured out, and even found some apps to help you get ready for THE prom night, but now comes the hard part—the dress! Whether you're looking for something long and glamorous or short and spunky, we've got something perfect no matter what budget you're working with. Check out our under $100, under $250, and above $250 options below!
Don't fret if you're allowance is a little tight—it won't stop you from finding your dream dress! If you want ALL eyes on you, go for the Way-In '80s-inspired teal sequin one-shoulder mini ($68). We love the giant bow on the shoulder, and, I mean, how can you NOT have fun at prom in this? For a more vintage-y vibe, opt for the black and beige Trixxi Retro sequin gown ($88). Above the sweetheart bodice is a shimmering nude neck for added drama. Take a cue from the model and go for retro curls too! If you're feeling super girly, go for the flared Little Mistress floral jacquard silver and white prom dress with a sequin belt ($90). Add a bright red platforms, and BAM! You'll put all the other girls (and guys) on the dance floor to shame.
Ladies and gents, feast your eyes on Kristen Stewart taking OVER the June 2012 cover of ELLE UK! We get so giddy whenever we see the Twilight star transform from her typically tomboy self into a totally femme fashion icon, and we have to say this is one of our fave K Stew covers of 2012. She is definitely channeling the '60s sex kitten look from last year's W Magazine shoot but with a more modern feel. She rocks a head-to-toe Jil Sander ensemble—a perforated crop top beige knit sweater over a tailored dress and matching skirt—and some of the best beauty game in the biz. I mean, look at that HAIR. Her long locks have been blown out into a sleek, '60s tucked-under faux bob, which is totally giving us Betty Draper vibes. For her makeup, she emphasizes her steely blue eyes with a strong brow, a light smokey eye, long lashes, and barely-there blush. She kept her nails au naturel (in pure K Stew style!) and WERKED a stellar pose.

We've seen (and loved!) the cut-out dress trend for awhile now, but we found a new twist (heh) on the summery staple—a frock that's tied right in the middle. Bloggers everywhere can't stop sporting these midriff-baring mini dresses, and we're sooo not mad. We can't think of a cuter or more practical way to stay cool on the hottest of summer days, so let's check some of our favorite looks, shall we?

Go big or go home! Florence Welch, Nicole Richie, and Drew Barrymore proved that more is more when they showed off their bold, all-over print maxi dresses. We're REALLY into this head-turning trend, which all three ladies sported in slightly different ways. Florence showed up to an after party in Las Vegas last night wearing this AMAZE black and forest green Tadashi Shoji fall 2012 number. Her scalloped edges add a touch of daintiness to her daring look, and she wore no accessories (save a few rings) to take away from her statement dress. She twisted back her shiny red tresses into a low chignon, and we love how her hair complements her green dress perfectly. She matched some burgundy eye shadow to her deep maroon nails for a totally put together look. Nicole Richie showed support for her dad Lionel Richie by wearing a dress from her own Winter Kate fall 2012 line earlier this month. We know bright yellow is incredibly hard to pull off, which is why we give Nicole MAY-JUH props for looking like a vintage vixen in her bold rose print dress. We also love the side swept bangs paired with a bouffant and larger-than-life lashes.
Bloggers Analisa Nguyen, Elle Ribera, and Rachel-Marie Jones show off their springy Palladium shoes on Lookbook.

Every Thursday we post the top style bloggers of the week, but today we decided to do something a little different. When we heard the news that Palladium Boots was teaming up with Lookbook to feature fashion bloggers wearing their new collection of kicks, we couldn't resist the opportunity to show how these cool girls styled their springy shoes. Palladium is introducing their new LITE Technology line, which is a collection of ultra lightweight shoes perfect for summer—we're talking boots that weigh less than 10 ounces here, folks. Kiiind of awesome. The Palladium team finally found a way to sport boots all summer long, and we're so on board. But let's look at how the bloggers styled their kicks, shall we?
Whether Rihanna's all layered up on the brisk streets of NYC or showing some serious leg in London, RiRi always manages to pull out some serious style game no matter WHAT the weather throws her way. Case and point: Last night she posted pics from her Hawaii vacation back in January, and oh my gahhhh—even her beachwear is amazing! We had an extremely difficult time picking our favorite looks from her vacay album because she manages to make even a barely-there bikini look fashion-y! She also kept her beauty game to a minimum by letting her (once brown) curls run wild and, dudes, we have to warn you—seeing RiRi without makeup MIGHT make your heart explode. She's straight-up stunning without a lick of foundation on, and it kind of makes us sad that we'll never be as pretty as her. *wipes tears from eyes* Anyway, let's check out these beach ensembles, shall we?
It's official—every time Ke$ha hooks up with Casio G-Shock, pure amazingness ensues. Last fall she designed a set of two watches and modeled them in a pantless, '70s-inspired shoot photographed by Terry Richardson, and this season the pop singer dons everything from a sky-high bouffant to a studded head (!!!) while showing off her latest wrist creations. We got a hold of her behind-the-scenes campaign video where Ke$ha goes '60s glam, au naturel boho and raver chic all in one shoot. Let's check out her killer looks below!

Move over '90s floral prints, there's a new guy in town. This season is filled with tons of tropical-inspired designs, which includes everything from Hawaiian prints to palm leaves. The first tropical prints appeared in Stella McCartney's spring 2012 line AND in the highly sought-after Versace for H&M collection. Since then, we've seen the design take over large retailers like Topshop and ASOS, and it's showing no signs of slowing. We found three bloggers who sported tropical prints in oh-so-cool ways that we NEED to try ASAP. See? Hawaiian prints aren't just for your dad's button up shirts anymore!
