A still from the "Spring Breakers" trailer.

After almost a YEAR of built-up anticipation via paparazzi shots and Instagram snaps, we're finally getting to see some footage from Harmony Korine's Spring Breakers. We've pulled ourselves out of the *deeeeep inhale and then monstrous yawn* daybreak hours, the legendary director is finally letting us see the trailer. As we imagined from the teaser photos of the girls getting arrested and wielding guns and ski masks, the movie's PYT stars Selena Gomez, Ashley Benson, Vanessa Hudgens, and Rachel Korine unfurl before your eyes into gritty, grimey characters like you've never seen them before.
Riff Raff-channeling James Franco makes his grand entrance just before the minute mark and Gucci Mane follows soon after. While we still have yet to see how rumored co-star Heather Morris will play out in this story, the trailer is simultaneously tiding us over and amping up our excitement for the movie's official release. Mark your calendars, y'all: Spring Breakers opens March 22 in New York and Los Angeles and nationwide on March 29.
On the inescapable (for us, anyway) style side of things, the trailer is also helping us beat the winter blahs with its Spring Break wardrobe realness. We all agreed that shopping for swimsuits in January was pushing the calendar a little bit, but we did track down some of the movie's style essentials so you can cop the Spring Breakers look now. You're welcome!
Lena Dunham on the February issue of 'Interview'/ Allison Williams on the February cover of 'Company.'
Photo: via 'Interview' and 'Company' magazines.
Hannah wears thrifted dresses. Marnie goes for Jackie-O shifts. Hannah's messy. Marnie's painfully neat. Let's cut to the chase here, shall we? If you watch Girls, then you know that Lena Dunham and Allison Williamss characters are about as opposite as they come. It's these undeniable differences that drove them apart as roommates at the end of last season, and- spoiler alert!- are already coming into play in season two. But while all the onscreen drama's clearly fiction, the co-stars continue to work completely opposite looks on a pair of February covers (coincidence?). Lena takes a retro turn in stripped-down mod for Interview magazine, framed in a black and white portrait by Gregory Harris. With her pixie crop, accentuated lashes, and statement eyeliner, the muse for the shoot is obvious (here's a hint...).
Justin Timberlake's return to music, after around six years without putting out a solo album, has been one of the biggest, most exciting bits of news so far this week, this month, and yea, this year (it's only January, so we can say that). From the glorious moment we saw JT tweet out his "I'm Ready" video announcement, we've been fantasizing about what this new record might sound like and (of equal import to us) whether his touring and promotional steez for the new music would be more akin to FutureSex/LoveSounds or his *NSync glory days (given the '90s revival that's sweeping the fashion world). The Clinton era and the early aughts that followed were both questionable times in style history, and while we're trying to stay positive and trust that Timberlake is bringing sexy back, the following 22 accessories ain't justified, and we'd prefer they stay in the past.

Snooki unveils her Snooki Couture headphones, earbuds, and audio accessories.

She may be a new mom and kicking off a brand spankin' new season of Snooki & JWOWW, but rest assured, Snooki is not slowing down on her mission to own a piece in every. single. aspect. of the style industry. The Princess of Poughkeepsie has just added a new vertical to her Snooki Couture fashion enterprise with the reveal of her forthcoming tech accessories which, according to her Instagram, will be available for meatballs nationwide come summertime. Yep. The girl already has self-branded and designed flip flops, jewelry, handbags, sunglasses, and beauty products, but now she's adding headphones, earbuds, and landline phones to her arsenal. Alright, girl! We see you doing work. *high fives the computer monitor*
Beck for Saint Laurent Spring 2013.

Ever since former Dior Homme creative director Hedi Slimane took over Yves Saint Laurent last summer, the French fashion house has slowly transformed into Hedi's complete vision for the brand. Not only did he change the iconic YSL name to Saint Laurent Paris, but his use of bold black and white portraits showcasing his favorite musicians (like Citizens! frontman Tom Burke) in tailored Saint Laurent pieces has upped the cool factor in a way that we love. The spring 2013 campaign hit the web yesterday, and Hedi featured longtime friend (and MTV Style favorite!) Beck. We totally spazzed out as we clicked through the photos (which also feature British model Edie Campbell) for a totally rock-n-roll-meets-couture spread that we're obsessed with. In one look (above), Beck sports a chambray shirt with a loose skinny tie, fringe suede jacket and tousled blonde strands. Me-ow!
Karlie Kloss for Donna Karan New York and Cara Delevingne for DKNY spring campaigns.

Donna Karan, are you reading our minds? Not that we're complaining or anything, because the New York designer has cast not just one but TWO of our favorite models in her spring campaigns! Double whammy, much? This season Karlie Kloss reprises her role as the face of the uber-elegant Donna Karan New York label (she repped the Resort 2013 line as well). Walking barefoot along the ocean and clad in an embellished pink spaghetti strap dress, the ex-dancer looks every bit the part of a beachy ballerina in this gorge campaign. And hey, matching pretty evening wear to the sunset and seawater doesn't hurt, either....
Meanwhile, Cara Delevingne's got the city slicker thing down on lock in the ads for the cool sister label DKNY. The model might be from London, but if you ask us, she totally nails the part as a New Yorker in these '90s-inspired shots.

Miguel talked to us about his eclectic style.

Before I jump into that one time I got to interview Miguel in the backseat of a moving van (no, that's not a euphemism for anything), I do believe a hearty congratulation is in order. From the bottom of our glitter-laden MTV Style hearts, we're sending mad love and props to the souful crooner because he just racked up FIVE Grammy nods last night including Song of the Year for his falsetto-dripping single "Adorn." It doesn't come as THAT much of a surprise, though, since Miguel's been riding high on critical acclaim for his Kaleidoscope Dream sophomore album since its release in early October. The sound of the record is unique in its ability to feel simultaneously nostalgic and cutting-edge fresh, and we can't help but notice (you know, being a fashion blog and all) that his style has morphed considerably since his debut record All I Want Is You and feels a lot like his new sound. Fortunately for us, Miguel obliged our requests to talk his ear off about fashion influences and runway trends and leather chaps while he tried to get a meal in despite our abrasive journalistic pushiness (the man is a SAINT, guys). Now, we're going to share the information and thoughtful words we mined from him with you!
Miley Cyrus in her Versace sunglasses yesterday.

We first suspected something was up when Rihanna rocked the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show last month in vintage Chanel circle-shaped shades, and now Miley Cyrus confirms it: round sunglasses are officially experiencing a resurgence, people! Sure, we're all for square, oversized, and classic aviators, but Miley's old-school Versace sunnies that she posted last night have single-handedly convinced us to invest in our own John Lennon-inspired frames. The singer tweeted, "80s Versace" #obsession" and she's definitely not the only one in love with the retro accessories. But while Miley's limited-edition version might be a little hard to score ourselves (trust us, we've tried!), there are PLENTY of near-identical versions out there if you're craving some instant gratification.

Picture this: you think it's going to be just another day of class/work/hanging out... but suddenly your lazy morning becomes one of those crazy, ridiculously busy situations where quick errands turn into never-ending hikes all over town. Yeah, we've been there. And it's times like these which REALLY prove the wedge sneakers' status as the ultimate closet secret weapon. After all, where else can you find a shoe that goes with pretty much any outfit, is versatile enough to dress up or down, AND so comfy you can wear it all day and night sans blisters? Nowhere! We're always looking for ways to switch up the staple with the rest of our wardrobe, and these stylish bloggers are here to help. Check out their takes on the look below for three more reasons to be thankful for the sneaker wedge this season.
