If you already peeped all the crazy haps that went down on the 2011 EMA red carpet last night (which, duh, you did, because you are SO LOYAL like that), you'd know that Katy Perry stunned in a pretty in pink rockabilly-inspired ensemble! She sported retro hot pink curls with a Jeremy Scott sunglasses print body-con dress, studded cotton candy pink leather jacket, smiley face button earrings, teal green eyeliner, and Jeremy Scott platform saddle shoes (WANT!). Not only do we LOVE the fact that KP is repping some key pieces from Jeremy Scott's Spring 2012 collection, but we think Ms. Perry and Jeremy are, like, BFFs. Not just friends, but BESTIES. We peeped these UH-DORABLE shots of them hanging out backstage, and we kiiinnnddd of can't handle one of our fave singers hanging with one of our favorite designers without feeling a little teary eyed and filled with overwhelming joy. Jeremy Scott is ALSO sporting one of his spring 2012 looks—THE gold cow print tassel moto jacket ensemble from the collection! Go ahead. Despite the tumultuous relationship-testing events of late, we here at MTV Style have the utmost faith in America's wonder couple-behbehs: Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber. Though not photographed together AT the 2011 EMA last night in Belfast, they were seen holding hands en route to a dinner after the big event for which Sel played host. Biebs let his girl shine on her own on her big day, as the duo played up their divergent personal styles more rather than going H.A.M. with the matchy-poo-ness à la black on black on black at the 2011 VMAs. Both performers in their own right, Selena and Justin both took to the stage during the award show, each clad in signature personal steeze.

As is customary, nay expected of Miss Gomez, girl was decked out in sequins to the eyeballs. Sel wore the long-sleeved shimmering purple number, in all its hot pants glory, with a pair of deliciously suede black knee-high boots and her hair in a soft half-up-half-down 'do—a kind of Nancy Sinatra meets glam-rock look that we're totally loving. The Biebs, on the other hand, went way futuristic with bold white details, hard lines, and more of that leather badassery we're seeing him wield lately. Hardly a stationary performer, Bieber's performance ensemble was optimized for movement with easy fit separates like black jeans, sneakers, and this seemingly Keith Haring-inspired jacket.

Sigh. Isn't she LOVELY? If you had any doubt in your mind that Selena Gomez wasn't an absolute dynamo, look no further than the incredible hosting job that the double-threat positively NAILED at the 2011 EMA in Belfast. She stunned on the "pink carpet" in a white, feather-filigree, Marchesa confection and flitted effortlessly between a retro '70s backless, red sequined onesie to high-waisted sailor shorts and a pique polo to drive a golf ball into the crowd, shimmied into a purple romper, set fire to the stage in a blaze of pyro and a printed maxi skirt and. So. Much. More.

Dizzying really. Let's gallivant through all NINE ensembles and count the very many ways in which Justin Bieber is a SUPER lucky dude...

It's SNOOKI in IRELAND, y'all! She's just chillin' on the pink carpet at the 2011 EMA with NEW HAIRRRR, ca-ching bling, and all kinds of snazzy bedazzling while, most likely, waiting for her mega-tanned, juiced-up, leprechaun meatball prince to carry her away to a (chilly) Irish beach. All we have to say is, you can take the girl outta Jersey, but you can't take the Jersey Shore outta the girl. Snooks was all about a super-sliiiim fitting look to show off her bodacious bod and perma-tan, but that's not just what captured our attention. It was this new, CHIC, side-swept hairDO and inverted, intricate mani. What exactly IS painted on her nails?

Silvery space-age scales, maroon doilies, a giant accordion-style coffee filter, cylindrical face-covering hats, and undulating kale. THIS is what makes an awards appearance by Lady Gaga so special. SHE NEVER DISAPPOINTS! And her presence at this year's MTV Europe Music Awards (aka EMA) as both a performer and nominee (and multiple awards winner) was also another WIN for the Haus of Gaga style cannon. Mother Monster took home four awards, including—her personal fave—the Biggest Fans award. She was also, in our humble opinion, the best style slayer of the night, and her various looks all seemed to follow a similar theme, one we'd like to call FUTURISTIC ALIEN WARRIOR PRINCESS. With ALL outfits by Paco Rabanne, hats by the GENIUS Philip Treacy, with squadrons of dancers wearing Void Of Course (which you may remember from the dildo shoe incident of yore [THANK YOU, NICOLA FORMICHETTI FOR THE CREDITS!]), and that body-con, to-the-floor, silver scaled gown above topped with a multilayered side-pony and a gaggle of matching trophies? Well that's just the beginning, folks.
