Shailene Woodley

Thanks to the Divergent franchise, the next Young Adult series poised to be a may-jah hit, Shaliene Woodley is, The Hollywood Reporter contends, likely to be the next Jennifer Lawrence. *ducks for cover from Hunger Games fans* She's got the photo poses down and the pixie (which she had before J.Law, BTW), but she also has a completely different approach to Hollywood and, like, living than most young women who grace the covers of magazines. When in L.A., for instance, "she lugs five-gallon carboys up in the mountains to capture her own drinking water." She doesn't, and will never, shop at Kitson. Every word to come out of her mouth is totally captivating. I've never even been camping but now, because of Shailene, I am considering giving up all my possessions and moving into the closest forest. I will bring this interview as a guide.

Selena Gomez

Selena Gomez may say she's celebrating her birthday all week, but with a new single out, new album released yesterday, and a new movie to promote, she's back at work and hitting the late night talk show circuit. Selly stopped by The Tonight Show with Jay Leno last night to chat about all of the above, and playing up that multi-facted split style personality, she wore one outfit for her interview and another later on the Tonight Show stage.

Selena Gomez

Give up a lil' round of applause for our girl Selena Gomez, y'all! Not only is she doing diligent promotion for Spring Breakers, hitting the late night circuit extra-hard—Late Show with David Letterman on Monday night to Late Night With Jimmy Fallon last night—but she's also BRINGING it with the high fashion looks for all of her appearances. Letterman was a little more done-up with black, lace, sequins and Emilio Pucci, but for Fallon and its later air-time and younger-skewing audience, Selly let her hair done (literally!) and shimmied into a beautiful Antonio Berardi cocktail dress.

Almost exactly a year ago while Rihanna was out and about promoting her scent Reb'l Fleur, we couldn't help but notice that her feathery, bright turquoise Antonio Berardi ensemble kiiiiinnnddd of reminded us of a Muppet. Specifically, Boober. Like, LOOK AT HIM. They are basically twins! The color, the midriff fuzz—basically everything. We totally lost our shiz at this dead-on comparison until today we noticed—GASP—Rita Ora was wearing almost the same thing! She stepped out in London sporting an oversized baseball tee, thigh-high leather boots, sunnies, a red bag and, YUP, that blue Muppet fur we're all a bit too familiar with.

Lady Gaga Peplum Dress

Celebs just can't get enough of those peplum dresses! We spotted them all over the Movie Awards red carpet this weekend, and yesterday Lady Gaga arrived in New Zealand wearing a little peplum number of her own. She sported a tangerine Antonio Berardi fall 2012 frock paired with white Christian Louboutin platforms pumps, white cat-eye sunglasses, and lace gloves. To put it gently, we went CUH-RAZY over this look when we first saw it. I mean, how cute and summery is this entire ensemble? Thanks to Gaga and the current peplum craze, we decided to scour the web for the best bright peplum minidresses that you can cop right this second. Forever 21 offers a super inexpensive one-shoulder magenta frock that costs under $25 bucks! If you want to shine like Mother Monster, go for ModCloth's bright yellow strapless peplum number with a bow in the front, which totally screams beachy '80s prom queen. Hot! For a bold but more demure option, Alice + Olivia makes a cobalt cap-sleeve dress that totally hugs your curves in all the right places.

What the WHAT! After a winter of glamourous floor-length gowns, rippling trains, and even a cape or two, the 2012 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards are SUCH a breath of fresh air for those of us neck-deep in spring fever. From the vibrant candy colors popping against the orange carpet to the flirty shorter hemlines, there were a lot of pretty young thangs free-legging their way into the slime convention. Narrowing the slime-tastic night's truly exemplary showing of stylish ladies, like Kristen Stewart, Selena Gomez, and Emma Stone, down to a top 10 list was tricky business, but we rolled up our sleeves and got it done!

One of the brightest shining style stars of the night was undoubtedly Kristen Stewart. KStew was absolutely stunning in this lacy cobalt Stella McCartney number. Though long-sleeved, the dress was still fresh and youthful with a peekaboo nude lining and mini-length hem. She finished off the look with minimal makeup, focusing on making her baby blues pop, an effortless ponytail, and matching Barbara Bui pumps (though, in classic Kristen fashion, she swapped them out for a pair of Converse kicks upon entering the show).

If the 2012 Oscars wasn't enough to satiate your red carpet appetite, we have just two words for you: After. Parties. Our favorite post-show shindig was definitely the Vanity Fair Oscars party. Glammed-up gals filed in donning chic couture ensembles, impeccable locks, and flawless makeup. Check out our top late-night looks below, and let us know YOUR favorite frock in the comments.

Lily Collins was certainly the fairest of them all in her nude and azure blue lace brocade Monique Lhuiller gown. The Mirror Mirror star oozed elegance with a soft swept-back updo, statement brows, long lashes, and a light pink lip. She sported minimal accessories and let the dress do all the talking.

Tonight may be the Oscars, but yesterday, Hollywood started the film celebrations early with the 2012 Film Independent Spirit Awards. A daytime affair, the event called for a bit more of a light-hearted sartorial approach. Hemlines were shorter, and attendees embraced their Spring Fever with flowery details. Elizabeth Olsen, Busy Philipps, Shailene Woodley, and Zoe Saldana all wore touches of floral in their step and repeat ensembles.

That headline seems almost head-smackingly "DUHHHH," right? I mean, if I were attending, let alone performing for, an event with "DIVAS" in the name, a word so fecund with high-maintenance, red-clawwed, femme dominance, OF COURSE, I'd bury myself in yards of metallics, fur stoles, and the world's butteriest leathers. Florence Welch, Jessie J, and Mary J. Blige are already, day-to-day, three of the most show-stoppingly clothed ladies of late, so we expected nothing short of being totally floored by their VH1 Divas Celebrates Soul outfits. Much to our delight, the trifecta did not disappoint, pulling out all the attention-commanding stops for their red carpet and (*cough* multiple) performance looks for an ascent to ear-poppingly dramatic FASHUN.

Florence Welch glittered down the red carpet in a sequin-drenched white-nude dress from the Antonio Berardi spring 2012 collection. As if being steeped in shimmer were not enough, her long-sleeved mock turtleneck dress also featured an eye-catching full mullet hem. Jessie J dared to wear one of Falguni & Shane Peacock's notoriously provocative creations from the spring 2012 line. The black and gold gown is panelled with sheer black fabric of varying degrees of transluscent and emblazoned with ornate and *achem* strategically placed gold embellishments. Originally a midi-length, Jessie added the lower black ruffle to extend the dress to floor-length. Mary J. wore head-to-toe fall 2011 Michael Kors, pairing a slinky ruched nude gown splattered with rhinestones under a MASSIVE blonde fur jacket.

Besides a horde of pubescent boys wielding lightsabers (and our own, non-lightsaber wielding senior editor) descending upon San Diego for Comic-Con, the city also played host to basically everyone who has ever mattered ever. (Not really. Jared Leto wasn't there. But a whole heap of our fashion faves were.) Though the Con is more for dressing WAY up as Batman or letting your casual flag fly, a couple of our leading ladies took the time to demonstrate that being a geek doesn't mean you aren't chic well-dressed in killer heels. Check out our best-dressed list for Comic-Con below—and if, like us, you are craving a Kristen Stewart fix with shaky hands and pasty skin, we cover her totally cool (and affordable!) Comic-Con outfit here.

I love these two as a couple. What a festive way to celebrate two important events in their life. Mariah looks like a dream.
