Last summer, Mariah Carey's accessory of
choice necessity was an arm sling for her dislocated shoulder. She had many glamorous sling options, including a feathered one, a lace one, and a rhinestone-encrusted one. Now that she's largely healed, Mariah seems to have traded in one arm accessory for another: gloves.
Mariah appeared on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon last night to promote her new single, "The Art Of Letting Go," sporting lace and leather driving gloves. While the slings are no longer necessary, Mimi still has nerve damage in her right hand, which is why she's been wearing gloves. She reveals that she likes them, though, and is willing to give them "a moment." Glove makers, prepare yourselves for a rush of feathered glove orders. Have rhinestones on standby, too.
Mariah Carey's arm may be hurting, but her sling options are certainly not. As we already know, Mariah dislocated her shoulder in July, and rather than letting it get her down, she's incorporated it into her look big time. Earlier this summer, at the 2013 Major League Baseball All-Star Charity Concert, Mimi decked her sling out in white fur, teal feathers, and sparkly rhinestones. Obviously, those three were merely MC's performance slings, and last night, we were treated to a look at her movie promotion collection.

For as much chatter as Mariah Carey gets for being a "diva," the
woman legend doesn't let anything stop her from putting on a SHOW. Not an early morning wardrobe malfunction and certainly not a dislocated shoulder. Mimi kept her previously scheduled performance for the 2013 Major League Baseball All-Star Charity Concert this weekend, swanning onto the stage in all her slinky, sparkly evening gowned glory. True to form, the "#Beautiful" singer had outfit changes. And more than that, she had a slew of glamorous sling options.
