After Beyonce surreptitiously dropped her new album in the middle of the night, she followed up by sneaking some new merch into her online store. Much like her album, there was no announcement, no indication anything new was coming, and then—BAM—a T-shirt and a sweatshirt that matched the album's cover. Brace yourselves: She just did it again with more new merch!
Now, alongside the swag that joined her on her Mrs. Carter Show world tour dates, are four new sweatshirts in the album's simple pink Sans Serif text plus black-background format. Bey showed off the designs at her album release party, but we had no idea they'd be available for purchase so soon. It's like our best friend (Beyonce, natch) just gave birth to quadruplets and we can't choose our fave! We
want need them all.
It was a big year for short hair. Models, singers, and actresses all made drastic chops to their 'dos, or at least toyed with the idea. In early 2013, Karlie Kloss' bob was named the haircut of 2012, but this year, stylish women dared to go even shorter. Here are some contenders for the Best Haircut award, though I'm not sure what the prize is. Sorry, ladies.

Considering her most popular role has its own signature braid, Jennifer Lawrence's pixie cut was totally unexpected. More expected? How good she looks with a new length. J.Law had long hair throughout awards season, which she wore up, down, and to the side to collect her multiple awards for her role in Silver Linings Playbook.
In April, she chopped her locks off into a lob (long bob, FYI), and in November, she went full platinum pixie. Her Hunger Games: Catching Fire red carpet style has been taking advantage of her hair's bold new ~edge~, and we can't wait to see how she styles her 'do for each award show at the top of 2014.
Jay Z for 'Vanity Fair.'

For the November issue of Vanity Fair, Jay Z be on his suit and tie s***, tie s***, tie. The man loves him a good dinner jacket and gets all pressed up in black and white on his first cover for the mag. The feature gives readers a rare glimpse into the life of a modern day mogul, who currently has a hand in pretty much everything. (But seriously.) Aside from his involvement with music, movies, video games, a theater, a nightclub and a sports team (*wipes sweat off brow*), Jay’s fallen hard for fashion. But, contrary to what one might assume, it’s not all about the Benjamins anymore—it’s about making improvements in the industry, he says.

The Carter-Knowles family is getting way into the holiday spirit this year! First, Jay Z revealed he's collaborating with Barneys on a holiday collection, and now, Beyonce has released her first-ever calendar. Merry Christmas, Blue Ivy, you're in for a lot of expensive presents and a calendar. You may not even be two years old, but it's never too early to keep track of your meetings on a calendar that exclusively features pictures of your mom.
The calendar's cover spotlights Bey, her abs, and a matching sequined hat, gloves, and crop top—a steez ripped straight from her Mrs. Carter Show tour wardrobe. Her long hair is back and she's sportin' a serious smokey eye. Sequins and a smokey eye: what more does a photo need? Absolutely nothing. Abs are optional, though preferred.
Beyonce paints her nails pink for Breast Cancer Awareness month.

If you thought you were low-maintenance because you only get a manicure every once in a blue moon, consider this: Beyonce paints her own nails (or did at least one time). And there's even photographic evidence. Queen Bey took to Instagram to show us that she was in the midst of painting her pinky pink for Breast Cancer Awareness month. If we can see both her hands, who is taking the pic, Blue Ivy? Jay? Her nails were already pink (she probably did those herself, too, LBR), but then she added some ~sparkle~. Pink on pink. Casual four fingers, fancy pinky.
You know those days when you tear out everything in your closet, only to end up wearing the very first thing you tried on? Well, if you’re Beyonce, you get to do that with your hair. #JEALLY Not that we blame her, of course. I mean, the woman has essentially dedicated multiple dance moves to the art of dramatic hair-whipping, so it makes total sense that she’d want to bring back the length. Also, she can do whatever she wants because she is the KING/KWEEN and we would bow down on bended knee regardless of her ‘do. (But TBH, her head rolls just would not be the same with a pixie, AMIRITE? Althooough, she would be a lot less likely to get her curls stuck in a fan. Just sayin’. #SAFETYFIRST)
Beyonce in Coney Island.

Beyonce and her new longer short hair have just graced Coney Island, Brooklyn with their angelic joint presence! Rumored to have been shooting a music video (with Terry Richardson, no less), Mrs. Carter's Cyclone-riding ensemble definitely out-does anything we've ever worn to an amusement park. At its foundation, it's actually a pretty basic 'fit, but it's Bey's accessories that really turns this up to another decibel with GOBS of gold drenching her clavicle and right wrist and choice hat game. Bey K. takes this opportunity riding Brooklyn's most infamous rollercoaster to rep another BK icon: The Notorious B.I.G., wearing Biggie on her snapback trucker hat.
Beyonce debuts her new, longer hair.
So long, pixie cut! Last week the web went cray when Beyonce debuted her new 'do on Instagram. Just when we were getting used to a world with a short-haired Beyonce, she changed it up on us again. Yesterday in Miami, Bey stepped out with an asymmetrical bob. It's verrrry short in the back, though not pixie-short (pixie, we hardly knew ye) and chin-length in the front. Though the words "mullet" and "Beyonce" have probably never before been used in the same sentence, it's kinda a reverse mullet? A stylish mullet, obviously, but it is totally a party in the front and business in the back. Or "Single Ladies" Beyonce in the front and "If I Were a Boy" Beyonce in the back, if you will.
Breaking news: Beyonce has very, very short hair! At least she does for the moment according to her Instagram feed. Having just seen the Queen Bey in concert at Brooklyn's Barclays Center on Monday night (yes, the very one where her husband also graced the stage), this transformation from cascading, wind-machine-blown blonde curls to a super-cute-pixie cut is a startling one. What's unsurprising of course is how beautiful she looks. While I realize that this coiffure (that harkens a sort of Hathaway-growing-out-a-Fantine 'do), doesn't mean she's hung up what I can only imagine to be a enviably extensive (and expensive) wig collection but *sigh* just look how this accentuates her brows. And her ever-expressive eyes are even more vibrant.

And just like that, she's gone. As of last night, Beyonce officially closed out the U.S. leg of her The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour in Brooklyn's Barclays Center. Sure, she still has Made In America Festival coming up Labor Day weekend, but as far as King Bey's solo performance extravaganza, last night was it for the star-spangled states. As with everything else the "Grown Woman" has a hand in, she had to close out her American run in a big way, and BOY, did she deliver. BK (as in Beyonce Knowles) didn't just give BK (as in Brooklyn) the debut live performance of "Bow Down." She also brought out a new stage ensemble AND *drumrolllll* her husband, Jay Z. AWWWwwwwww!
