Pretend for a second you're in charge over at Billboard magazine, and you're sitting in your corner office overlooking the New York City skyline, mindlessly playing with that click-clacky desk decoration (it helps you think), pondering whom you should put on your next cover. Given the current music landscape, you would obviously, without a doubt, no question about it, choose Iggy Azalea who has been clenching the #1 and (AND!) #2 songs in America for weeks.
Katy Perry on the cover of 'Billboard.'
Billboard just released the cover to their upcoming issue, and it features none other than Katy Perry! The cover is v. similar to the Prism cover art: soft lighting and flowers, which makes sense, because both covers were shot by Ryan McGinley. So, is the Billboard cover a BIG REVEAL of what Katy's wearing on the Prism cover, or did Katy and Ryan hit up two different flower fields on separate occasions? Katy's hair and makeup are similar (read: natural looking) on both covers, so it's totally plausible they were both shot in one go, which prooooobably means *BIG REVEAL* Katy is wearing clothes on the Prism cover!
This year has been a big one for the Billboard charts. From Katy Perry's record-breaking fifth single off Teenage Dream to Taylor Swift's reign as "Woman of the Year" at just 22 years old, there's a lot of celebrate, and that is pricelessly what the pop music's finest did at tonight's Billboard Music Awards. The 2012 BBMAs drew out some of the music industry's most stylish celebs, but a few shone brighter than the rest. From Miley Cyrus to The Wanted, these are MTV Style's top looks of the night!

Straying from her go-to gold, Taylor Swift looked stunning in a bright red gown by Elie Saab. The symmetrical strappiness of the bodice provides a bit of edge which is balanced by the girlish lace insets. The racy sheerness of the lace is also off-set by the conservative neckline and the floor-length solid skirt. Tay finishes it off with short, dark nails, blunt bangs, and a touch of smokey red-brown eye makeup.

Electronic dance music gods Diplo, Skrillex, and A-Trak cover the latest issue of Billboard magazine, and, well, we're a little swoony. First of all, we're super into the fact that electronic music is having its fair share of attention these days, and that it has been catapulted to the forefront of popular music again thanks to pioneering DJs and producers like these fine fellows. At a time when the way we discover music—let alone the way artists release it—is forever changing, it's refreshing to see what was often considered a subculture scene find its way to the more mainstream. Also, these three gentlemen have several Grammy Award nominations between them. Oh, and they're seriously stylin'. Let's break down this mega blazer-slash-varsity-jacket-slash-scarf action bizness because, BOY, are we're feeling it.
