Beyonce's really into sharing her outfits on Instagram lately.
Photo: Courtesy of @baddiebey's Instagram

Two weeks ago, Beyonce got an Instagram account, and with one quick post of a "Texans for Obama" t-shirt, @baddiebey began taking her followers on a journey of hand-written notes and (most importantly for us) rapidfire outfit updates. She may have saved the vampire grill and white rabbit snaps exclusively for her Tumblr (which BTW is also amazing and a thing you should definitely not sleep on because HELLO GORGEOUS), but her Instagram is quickly becoming the #1 source for all the latest breaking Beyonce everyday (as in, not red carpet or performance outfits) ensembles. What's Bey's latest fashion obsession (other than that post-flu-shot arm-grabbing pose)? Statement prints!

Taylor Swift Cat shoes

Taylor Swift loves her Charlotte Olympia cat shoes.
Photo: Splash News/Getty

Oh how we long for a pair of Charlotte Olympia cat flats. Oh how we need little whiskers adorning our toes, how we need a pink nose upon our feet. How can something so silly feel so essential? Maybe it's our well-hidden but omnipresent cat lady tendencies, or maybe it's just that they're freaking cute. You know who agrees with us? Taylor Swift. The pretty young thing has been seen sporting felines on her feet all over the world, and she's thoroughly convinced us that not only are these super cute shoes, well, super cute, but they're also totally practical. From wearing them out and about to bike riding through the streets of Paris while shooting her video for "Begin Again" off of her upcoming album Red (which comes out on October 22nd). We were totally taken over the edge, however, when Taylor showed up at the Radio One Teen Awards in London wearing a white a-line dress (not a surprise) with a pair of Charlotte Olympia satin cat face PUMPS. Now, we're all for a little whimsy and humor when it comes to your kicking around clothes, but on the red carpet? We were skeptical at first but it's a look that's really, seriously grown on it. We knew that the time had come to scour the internet for cat-face shoes of our own, both the exact same as Tay's and at other, more affordable price points.

Hannah Metz

Photo: Hannah Metz's Tumblr

Here at MTV Style, we know that the sudden appearance of cats in the fashion world is NOT breaking news. Dog-lovers out there might still contest that cats are just fluffy home fixtures, lacking in personality what they make up for in laziness. But guys, cats are EVERYWHERE, so we’ve dedicated the first weekly installment of Trending Topics to our favorite iterations of the kitty-craze. Here we go!

We Want These Drawings To Be Real Clothes!
Hannah Metz, please hear us loud and clear: we love everything about this drawing. The femininity of these sketch sisters is just modest enough to let the loudness of the amazinggg CAT SWEATERS steal our focus. We’re digging the way this photographer/stylist reimagines the “cat lady” with a touch of retro glam. Plus, there’s even more where this came from on Hannah’s Tumblr. The only question is, how do we get our hands on the real thing? What’s a girl gotta do? {via Hannah Metz's Tumblr}

Emma Watson

Emma Watson attends the U.K. premiere of "My Week with Marilyn" in London, England.

Miss Emma Watson has turned into quite the ingenue. After graduating (with HONORS) from the Harry Potter movies and enrolling in college here in the U.S., the former Hermione Granger has made a new name for herself as a bona fide fashion STAH. Not only has she landed multiple coveted magazine covers like Vogue and British Elle, she's fronted a fragrance campaign for Lancôme's Trésor Midnight Rose perfume and has been working on many a new movie. Her major role in the upcoming The Perks of Being a Wallflower is getting a lot of buzz, but we'll see her in a supporting role first in the upcoming My Week With Marilyn, in which she plays a wardrobe assistant (love it already). No stranger to the fashionable glare of the red carpet bulbs, Miss Watson turned it out in true class-act style for the premiere of Marilyn and toted the COOLEST Perspex leopard clutch.

These super cute, embroidered velvet Charlotte Olympia Kitty flats are everywhere. And by everywhere, I mean in editorials or in street style photos atop the tootsies of many a fashionable CELEB. Even though these shoes look like they want to rub against ALL of our sweet lady feet, they're pretty much relegated to the elongated legs of the elite. Why? Because they're £485, dahhhhhling, and that's about $775 in current dollar conversion. I KNOW. Alexa Chung wears these gold-heeled kittens like a champ, and everyone else from Katy Perry to Sarah Jessica Parker has been swanning around the swankier urban streets looking all manner of PURRfect in them. Whatever can we do?

Just when we think we know which direction Gossip Girl is heading, that idling Upper East Side limo makes a U-turn. There are so many soul-punching shenanigans going on in the latest episode that we barely know where to begin. As you know from last week, Mr. Chuck (Ed Westwick) can't seem to feel any emotion anymore, so Lonely Boy Dan (Penn Badgley) gets all Humphrey on his cashmere adorned assets and surprises him with an impossibly cute pet dog. Dan has become Blair Waldorf's (Leighton Meester) pet dog, and even though he keeps trying to get her to open an envelope that reveals the father of her baby, she refuses but only for awhile. (GASP! Relax, no spoiler alert here.) Nate (Chace Crawford) starts his new internship with his cougar boss Diana Payne (Elizabeth Hurley), and she begins to reveal her true purpose regarding Manhattan's elite. Oh, and where's Serena (Blake Lively), you ask? Miss Van Der Woodsen is all about making her "cousin" Charlie (Kaylee DeFer) feel right at home, and lucky for her, "Charlie" (aka Ivy) has no intention of going anywhere. But if social-climbing Ivy isn't careful, we have a feeling she'll be skating on thin ice all winter. In case you haven't caught up yet, we won't spoil the rest, but check back here weekly for our fashion recap!

The City's fashion-forward former Elle accessories editor Olivia Palermo has been popping up at Paris Fashion Week shows in some super 'dorbs summery frocks, and we CANNOT get enough of her simple-yet-chic ensembles. But what realllllyyy put us over the edge is that Ms. P's dresses retail for *gasp* UNDER A $100! AND you can buy them in the United States. Like, right now.

Victoria Justice in Brian Atwood on Dec. 12, Michelle Williams in Charlotte Olympia on Dec. 13, Kristen Bell in Salvatore Ferragamo on Dec. 13.

Purple reigned on the red carpet this week with the gem tone showing up in soft satin fabrics on the feet of celebs like Victoria Justice, whose bright amethyst Brian Atwood pumps proved to be the highlight of her look (even next to her dramatic glittery dress). Michelle Williams went with a darker plum shade for her stacked platform Charlotte Olympia shoes—a great contrast to her winter white dress. We also loved Kristen Bell's eggplant Salvatore Ferragamo heels, which complemented the floral designs of her dress to a T. As a whole, the vibrant color was a fresh alternative to the usual black or tan, but which purple pump is your style pick?

Emma Watson arrives at the 'Late Show With David Letterman,' leaves 'Letterman,' and attends the "Harry Potter" premiere on Nov. 15.
Photo: Getty Images/WireImage

With an organic clothing line already in the works, Emma Watson wasn't joking when she hinted that she wanted to add fashionista to her already-stellar acting resume. In one day, the quick change artist wore three different, equally stylish looks while promoting Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 in New York City yesterday. If that's not evidence of a fashion fiend, we don't know what is. Which look was your favorite?

Headed to an interview for the Late Show With David Letterman, Emma looked cozy-chic in a gray flannel and oversize sweater, which she teamed with skinny black jeans and flats.

The Harry Potter star made her first wardrobe change pre-David Letterman interview, emerging from the studio afterward in a Burberry double-breasted coat (that we are seriously lusting over), an Alexander McQueen clutch and Charlotte Olympia platform pumps.

For the premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1, Emma changed into neck-to-toe Calvin Klein — a sleek-and-simple black gown and gold strappy heels. She finished the look with an intricate gold bracelet. This sleek, simple, minimal look is our favorite. We love how sophisticated she looks! But what do you think?

+ What's your favorite Emma Watson look of the day?
