This may be the most perfect summer outfit?

Like us, Taylor Swift spent Fourth of July weekend chilling with her friends and baking a bunch of pies (unlike us, her friends are Emma Stone, Lena Dunham, Jaime King, and Jessica Szohr and her pie was perfect). Also unlike us? She was photographed looking remarkably fresh-faced without any awkward sunburns or undereye circles from too much fun and not enough sleep like the rest of America.
After her long-weekend getaway in Rhode Island, Taylor was spotted leaving a New York City gym wearing a flawless retro bustier number from Reformation. How she manages to look like that after ostensibly getting her fitness on is a bit of a mystery, but whatever she's doing in there is working because: abs. In the mood for good news? You can cop the same matching set for yourself—whether you wear it to the gym or to more formal occasions is totally up to you.
Fifth Harmony at MTV's Artist To Watch Concert.

Ever since we got a behind-the-scenes look at Fifth Harmony shopping for VMA looks, we've been keeping close tabs on what the five stylish ladies wear, both onstage and off. We were thrilled when MTV included Fifth Harmony in their group of Artist to Watch for 2014 because (a) these ladies should definitely be watched, and (b) their style is totally enviable. Normani, Lauren, Camila, Ally, and Dinah Jane have all retained their personal aesthetic since they were grouped on the X Factor, yet they've learned how to coordinate their preferences with their fellow 5H members. Their outfits at the Artist to Watch Kickoff Concert are a perfect example of their collective style, and we need to take a closer look.
The many looks of Miley Cyrus.

If we've learned anything about Miley Cyrus this year, it's that she probably owns more high-cut bikini bottoms than anyone in the free world. We've also learned that if it weren't for New York Fashion Week, there's a chance she could have been single-handedly credited with reviving the sartorial styles of the 1990s. And even though crop tops first started cropping up (heh) on runways back in October 2012, Miley was definitely one of the trend's earliest AND most enthusiastic supporters (like that time she wore four in 24 hours this summer). You might even say that her newfound personal style was, and is, miles (heh) ahead of the curve.
Fashion in the '90s was primarily characterized by a kind of laid-back minimalism. (Not pantsless minimalism, per se—but maybe that's Miley's modern twist?) Leaving the neon spandex, leg warmers, and bulky shoulder pads of the '80s behind, the following decade was heavily influenced by Seattle's grunge-rock scene (tartan flannel, overalls, Doc Martens) and hip-hop streetwear (labels, a ton of flashy bling). Comfort was key, but even more important was the ability to have your style convey a sense of rebellion and anti-establishment. And that's exactly what Cyrus claims to stand for. "It's almost punk rock to like me because it's not the right thing to do," she told Cosmopolitan. "Like, society wants to shut me down."
So, to celebrate Miley's BIGGEST and most stylish year to date (sorry, Hannah Montana fans), we've laid out the many ways that her evolving look has paid tribute to the decade in which she was born. In the words of 2 Unlimited, frozen in time by Jock Jams and Space Jam, "Y'all ready for this?" (DUN NUH NUH!)
Miley Cyrus 'Bangerz' release party/At the 'Bangerz' Release Signing/On 'Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.'

If you fell into a deep sleep for over 24 hours and somehow missed it, you should know that Miley Cyrus' highly-anticipated album, Bangerz, was released yesterday. Last night was the official record signing and release party, a.k.a. 2 opportunities for Miley to show off dem abs.
Her first look featured a number of her fave things: white on white, a crop top, T.U.K Creepers, and pasties. The pasties were not merely circles like she wore a few weeks ago, but giant stars. It is her release, after all: special occasions call for special pasties. She also has on the diamond-encrusted chain link necklace she wore on SNL this weekend because, LBR, if you had that necklace, you'd wear it to everything too. Oh, also, because yesterday was, weather-wise, the first real day of fall in NYC, Miles swapped her preferred hotpants and tanktops for distressed white jeans and a long-sleeve shirt. The sheerness probably isn't helping with the insulation, but how else would everyone know she's upgraded her pasty game?
Animals, how are you doing? If you're anything like us, you just watched the trailer for the second season of Ke$ha's My Crazy Beautiful Life, like, fifteen times. There's a lot to take in! There are a TON of quintessential Ke$ha looks crammed into two minutes (face glitter, sparkly stage costumes, etc.etc.), so we've broken down everything you need to know, by the numbers. Immerse yourself in Ke$ha so you're ready for the second season's premiere on October 30th, when there will be even more Ke$ha #FASHUN.
Trends from the 1990s: Crop-tops, faux-flannel plaid, logo gear and overalls.

Pro tip: If you wanna get a head-start on setting up your style game for Spring 2014, go home. Brush the dust off your under-bed storage bins, dig deep into your parents’ closets and recover all your siblings’ angst-ridden clothes from the 1990s. Because that decade just called. And they aren't getting their trends back. (Unless they’re calling about acid wash jeans. Then we’ll take a message.)
From Rodarte to DKNY to Alexander Wang and Rag & Bone, models in crop-tops, faux-flannel plaids, overalls and logo-gear dominated the Spring 2014 runways. Did every designer get together this summer to trade POGS and binge-watch My So-Called Life on bean bag chairs or something? Was it the Boy Meets World spin-off? The TLC biopic? The *NSYNC reunion?! Whatever the reason, '90s redux is definitely happening for Spring 2014 – and it’s all that AND a bag of chips, y’all!

We've rounded up a few of our fave pieces from around the interwebz that broadcast your affinity for the best breakfast choice.
VMA performance crop top options for Miley Cyrus.

You already knew Miley Cyrus would be making a 2013 VMA appearance, but we can finally tell you today that Billy Ray's little girl isn't just attending (as she has for so many years in the past), she's PERFORMING. That's right, Smilers. On Sunday, August 25, your supreme flaxen pixie-haired leader is joining the current line-up of Lady Gaga, Kanye West, Katy Perry, and also just-announced Robin Thicke, hitting the stage in honor of the Moonman and the year in music videos. We're fully aware that Miles can dress herself for her big VMA moment, but being that we spend 75% of our days online shopping, we figured we'd put our powers to good use and send a little unsolicited wardrobe advice her way. Y'know, just in case she needs it. In other words, we rounded up a few crop tops she might want to wear on stage.

Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Rita Ora, and Jessie J perform at Barclaycard Wireless Festival.

Okayyyy okay, so crop tops aren't exactly uncharted territory when it comes to festival style (see: Coachella 2012), but just put down the Haterade and hear us out for a second. The fact that Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Rita Ora, and Jessie J ALL wore them at Wireless Festival is most definitely worth talking about. These four lovely ladies are each champions of a unique personal steez AND YET each performance powerhouse implemented the midriff-baring look (which BTW hasn't seen this sort of heyday since Britney Spears publicly hit puberty) on stage this weekend. Also, some of the most eye-buggingly crazy print-on-print combinations we've seen to date. There's something going on here. Let's dissect.
