Rihanna on the April 2011 'Vogue' cover.
Photo: Courtesy of 'Vogue.'

Rihanna looked DEVASTATINGLY GORGEOUS on the cover (and inside!) of the April 2011 issue of Vogue. Her fiery red hair, her flawless skin—we can't get enough! ILU RiRi.

Jersey Shore's Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola celebrated her birthday (the big two four) this weekend by trying something new—crimped strands of hair! We were left pondering why she only decided to do two strands and not her whole head, but it's her birthday and she does what she wants to.

• At the 2011 Woodie Awards in Austin, Texas, we were MORE than impressed with all the lads' and ladies' stylish ensembles! The dudes donned skinny ties, the girls just looked straight up HOT, and we tracked down Wiz Khalifa's Johnny Depp tee performance outfit!! Also, we caught up with Alexis Krauss from Sleigh Bells for some hot fashion tipz.

• What were those hot dudes up to this week? Rain KILLED IT on the Esquire Korea cover, James Franco and Zac Efron showed off the newest boy trend: armpits, Patrick Dempsey flashed his McChesticles, Sliimy proved he's a rising style star, and Brad Pitt got an interesting haircut, which then made us compile EVERY HAIRSTYLE HE'S EVER HAD. (You're welcome.)

• We tracked down the cutest Brit "It" girls from across the pond! Meet Fearne Cotton, Jessie J, and Bip Ling! #obsessed

• The fashion face-offs continue! Who wore it best: Scarlett Johansson vs. Kate Bosworth vs. Diane Kruger or Lindsay Lohan vs. Jennifer Hudson?

• Wanna look like a celeb?! Well, now you can! Get a hot pink prom dress like Debby Ryan, almond-shaped nails like Lady Gaga, a french braid like Liv Tyler, African-inspired prints like Whitney Port, bright pink eyeshadow like Kristen Wiig, or a braided hair wrap headband like Nicole Scherzinger.

• This week we had some burning questions: Should you buy your wedding dress online? Is the Texas tuxedo making a comeback? Does Joe Jonas have a soul patch?!?! LUCKILY, Lady Gaga is answering any questions you want this week and this week only!! So like... maybe you could ask her these die-hard questions for us. Because we REALLY wanna know the answers.

• Spring trends are in full effect! This week we loved: ruffled tiers and platform shoes.

SPRING WEATHER IS HEREEREREE!!! Time to buy tons of floral dresses and go for bike rides ASAP. See you Monday!

Scarlett Johansson covers 'Vogue China' April 2011, Kate Bosworth at 'Nylon' magazine's March Issue Celebration in Los Angeles on March 10, Diane Kruger at the "Unknown" premiere in Westwood, California, on Feb. 16.
Photo: Vogue/Getty Images

Wow. Talk about "body-con." You gotta have killer legs to pull off this teeny-tiny, lacy, sleeveless Dolce dress. And while ScarJo, Bosworth and Kruger all have undeniably bananas gams with scorching-hot bodies to match, we have to say that the somewhat baggier fit of Bosworth's leaves something to be desired. We understand the intention of dressing it down with a military jacket and boots for a lower-key event, but it's detracting from the details like the baubled scoop-neck and waist. Scarlett's shorter, tousled coif looks spectacular on this issue of Vogue China and we love just the hint of shine in her earrings, but there's a certain, pulled-together appeal of Ms. Kruger's tidily assembled bun and neutral shoes that plays up the juuuuust-shy-of-prissy intention of the dress. We know we can't see Scarlett's shoes, but this round goes to Diane. Nicely done. Now go away. We hate you *returns to a soul-crushing lunch of steamed broccoli*.

Winner: Diane Kruger

We're feeling blue this week, but not in the sad, depressed kind of way. The brightly colored pumps that stars like Nicki Minaj, Diane Kruger, Brooklyn Decker, and Vanessa Hudgens have been wearing actually make us really happy. We loved Nicki's funky sky blue Walter Steiger platforms that matched her graffiti leggings. Meanwhile, Diane's turquoise Prada sandals really popped next to her fiery orange dress. We also adored the hues of Brooklyn's aqua-colored suede Christian Louboutin pumps and Vanessa's cobalt peep-toe heels. These pumps really put some extra pep in celebs' steps, but which one has you singing the blues?

• It's Nicki Minaj's week! We've got every look from her glamorous new video "Moment 4 Life," meanwhile the rapper was spotted sporting three completely different hairstyles in one weekend — a hot pink beehive, Barbie blonde locks, and cameo-colored hair. Whew!

My Chemical Romance's Gerard Way switched up his strands with a brand-new 'do; Gavin and Kingston Rossdale proved that matching father/son style can be cool; Taye Diggs perfectly mixed patterns; Snoop Dogg debuted some massive hand candy; Jay Chou showed off his adventurous style; and hotties Adrian Grenier, Zachary Quinto, and Dominic Cooper warmed up Sundance.

• Celebs looked GORGE at events all over the world! In Paris, Olivia Wilde, Jessica Alba, and Diane Kruger shined in Gucci couture, and in L.A. Whitney Port, Rose McGowan, and Louise Roe rocked minis at a People StyleWatch event.

The stars went for Old Hollywood glamour on the red carpet this week, opting for classic black shoes with gold trimmings. Both Olivia Wilde and Diane Kruger stepped out in seriously sleek stilettos at the Vogue Paris dinner honoring Gucci during Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week. Olivia went for high drama in strappy leather and velvet heels, and Diane kept it minimal but chic in her slinky ankle strap sandals, both by the feted design house. Meanwhile, Heidi Klum's gold accented velour peep toes by Christian Louboutin, which she wore to InStyle's Best Of British Talent Party in London, managed to stand out even next to her feathered sparkly dress. Honestly, you can't go wrong with a black and gold shoe, but which pair could you see yourself stepping out in?

A handful of hot-dressed celebs, including Jessica Alba and Olivia Wilde, took a break from Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week last night to honor Gucci's Frida Giannini (she's the creative director of the company...aka the head honcho) at a dinner hosted by former 'Vogue Paris' editor in chief Carine Roitfeld. It was a fashion love fest for sure, and these were the looks we fell for...

JESSICA ALBA: Jessica stole the spotlight in a sparkly silver Gucci dress with draping over one shoulder, which she wore with blush-colored heels and a metallic Gucci clutch.

OLIVIA WILDE: The Tron: Legacy star worked a color-block jumpsuit from Gucci's Spring 2011 collection. Olivia teamed the sexy number with a chunky gold necklace, royal purple clutch and a fierce pair of black sandals.

DIANE KRUGER: Being a Chanel muse didn't stop model-turned-actress Diane Kruger from stepping out in a KILLER embellished black and gold frock from Gucci's Spring 2011 collection.

GEMMA ARTERTON: Bond girl Gemma Arterton, chose a more casual ensemble, but the pocketed Gucci dress was none the less chic...especially with those AMAZING nude peep toes!

Olivia Wilde in Christian Louboutin on Jan. 16, Keri Hilson in Alana Hale and Diane Kruger in Jimmy Choo on Jan. 14.

Awards season is in full swing, and while gowns will always be the centerpiece, fabulous footwear is having a serious red carpet moment. We were awestruck by Olivia Wilde's princess dress at the Golden Globes, but it was her gold spiked and studded Christian Louboutin booties hiding underneath that gave the biggest style surprise. And though Keri Hilson's LBD at the Critics' Choice Movie Awards was all kinds of adorable, her custom-made gold and pearl-encrusted peep-toes by Alana Hale knocked us off our feet. Likewise, we only had eyes for Diane Kruger's incredible Jimmy Choo studded pink, red, black and croc-print platforms, even next to her sparkly sheath. All of these shoes were OTT (over the top) stylish, but which pair will you remember months from now?

From brightly colored face paint (Ke$ha!) to nothing but a swipe of Chapstick (Emma Watson!), the beauty trends rocked by celebrities in 2010 kept us on our polished toes. These were the looks that inspired us to finally find the perfect red lipstick we felt confident in, match our eye shadow to our dress (because it was the cool thing to do), and, YES, go a little wild with some neon paint.

CRAZY LIPS: Forget mauve—brazen stars, including Kat Graham, Ke$ha, and VV Brown coated their pouts in Crayola colors (pink, blue, green...oh my!), transforming their faces into works of art.

BERRY LIPS: Channeling Old Hollywood, A-listers like Leighton Meester and Lauren Conrad teamed mascara-heavy top lashes and 1940s hairstyles with matte berry-tinged lips for a classic look.

Clockwise from top left: Emma Watson at Warner Bros photocall in London on Nov. 10, Whitney Port at the 'Sex and the City 2' premiere in New York on May 24, Lauren Conrad at the Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party in L.A. on Oct. 1, and Leighton Meester at a Harry Winston event in New York on Nov. 16.

A SWIPE OF BLUE: From Diane Kruger to Rihanna, the fresh look of icy blue liner or lush turquoise shadow complemented so many celebrity skin tones.

RED LIPS: A classic red lip is always trendy, and 2010 was no exception. Kate Bosworth chose a mod matte cherry shade, while Kelly Osbourne and Victoria Justice picked rich, shiny scarlets to give their smackers some sexy oomph.

HEAVY EYES: Moody, kohl-rimmed bedroom eyes weren't just for nighttime this year. Celebs like Zoe Kravitz kept the look fresh and casual by skipping bright lipstick and blush and keeping their hairstyle simple.

FRESH FACED: One of the biggest makeup trends of the year was NOT wearing much makeup at all. And guess what? Stars like Emma Watson, Beyoncé, and Ginnifer Goodwin looked just as gorgeous au naturel as they did with a face full of product.

BUBBLE GUM PINK LIPS: One of the hottest color combos of the year was pink (on lips) and black (frocks). And if the recent sales of Nicki Minaj's MAC Pink Friday lipstick shade are any indication, the playful/retro look is here to stay.

BRIGHT EYES: The new smokey eye (in shades of green, orange and purple) made stars like Emma Roberts and Keri Hilson look mysterious, sexy, chic...anything but shy.

NUDE LIPS: Nude, pillowy lips were the LBD of makeup—everyone from Gossip Girl Jessica Szohr to hip-hop diva Ciara rocked the the '60s-inspired look this year.

FACE PAINT: Halloween lingered past Oct. 31 this year with Hayley Williams, Taylor Momsen and Ke$ha each wearing face paint (targeted to specific features and/or splattered all over the place) to the MTV European Music Awards on Nov. 7.
