When word got out about Design With Purpose, Gwen Stefani's new clothing line with denim king Michael Glasser, we got excited. Not too excited, though, because if we've learned anything about celebrity collaborations, it's that they love to tease us with plenty of promo looong before the product drops (*ACHEM* Nicki Minaj for Kmart, The Key by Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga's ARTPOP). And that's fine—we're used to it. But now, just days after Gwen's initial announcement, we're already getting some behind-the-scenes photos of DWP's lookbook shoot AND a promise that more will be coming soon. All of this with a projected spring 2014 shelf date? Gwen, you're spoiling us! *blushes*

If you've ever wanted to dress like Gwen Stefani, pulling off her punky, polished look is about to become a whole lot easier (abdominal prep optional). After having stepped away from designing for L.A.M.B. in recent years, WWD reports that Stefani is ready to get back into the fashion game with the help of denim guru Michael Glasser (who's behind 7 For All Mankind, Citizens of Humanity, and Rich & Skinny). But instead of continuing to focus on the profitable wardrobe staple that he's known for, Glasser says their label, DWP (Design With Purpose), actually aims to add a few new basics.

H&M's Conscious Exclusive Collection.
Photo: H&M

Exactly one year ago today, H&M launched their first eco-friendly red carpet line, just in time for Prom. We can hardly believe it's that time again, but the retailers new Conscious Exclusive collection sure is jogging our memories. Time to pick out your dresses, ladies! If you're looking for an environmentally friendly option, H&M is a great place to start. The collection is made up of dresses that run the gamut from ultra dramatic to cute and simple, plus everything else in between (and rompers!), and everything is made from sustainable materials such as organic cotton, recycled polyester, tencel, and recycled polyamide. Offering up some of the biggest trends of the year—cutouts, graphic accents, and sheer—the collection is a great way to shop responsibly without sacrificing a hint of style. One of our favorite pieces is the high-necked, completely open-backed dusty rose gown, which features a slim A-line silhouette and is modern and romantic. It's also made of 100% recycled polyester, so you can feel good about your shopping choices while you're dancing the night away. If you're looking to go even edgier, though, the cross-backed navy romper would be sure to cause a scene. We love the idea of wearing a romper to prom, because not only is it totally different, but it's a great opportunity to show off some fierce accessories.

If you're just beginning the highly anticipated prom dress hunt, we've got a place for you to start—H&M! The retailer will launch a collection of red carpet-ready dresses just in time for the big day, and the best part is that they're also eco-friendly. All the frocks are made from sustainable materials like organic cotton, hemp, and recycled polyester, so you not only will look super cute, but you're also secretly helping the environment. Score! If you're opting for a floor-length gown, H&M has tons of gorge dresses to choose from—our favorite being the plum and lavender recycled polyester crepe dress with floral embroidery and a removable skirt ($199). Yep, you read that right—if you get too sweaty on the dance floor, you can detach the long dress for an all-night boogie fest. Two-for-one deal? Yes, please. If you want to make quite the entrance, opt for the organic cotton and silk gown with an organza crease meringue skirt ($299). Throw a bold necklace on that bad boy and you're good to go. For a bit more color, go for the plunging lemon recycled polyester gown with a beaded top ($79.95).

I love these two as a couple. What a festive way to celebrate two important events in their life. Mariah looks like a dream.
