If you've ever dyed your hair an ~unnatural~ color, you know the challenge that comes with trying to maintain vibrancy. Katy Perry, it seems, has decided not to fight the inevitable, but embrace it—at least in her life off-stage. As you probably know, before her Prismatic World Tour kicked off, Katy dyed her hair "slime green." Her hair was bright at various events—even at Coachella—but it seems that Katy, like any plebe, has given up on keeping it florescent. It simply requires too much work if you're into showering more than, like, once a week, TBH. For her performances, though, Katy has found the perfect way to keep it as bright as ever.

Do Adam Lambert and Katy Perry drink water from the same source? Is there something in the water? What other explanation is there for why two people decided to dye their hair green in the same week? I honestly can't think of any. Oh, maybe because it looks good? That could be it.
Adam Lambert debuted his new 'do on Instagram, captioning the photo, "Green hair don't care." I think you do care, Adam. I'd care if I could pull off green hair. Adam really went for it, even dyeing the closely shaved sides of his head. While it's hard to tell what shade of green his hair actually is (thanks, Instagram filters), it looks like it's a pretty dark shade.

Good news, everyone: Katy Perry's new hair goes well with fancy dresses. While we were initially wondering, like, "What goes with green hair?," Katy has proven that she can make at least two different looks #WERK. Last night, she attended an event in a floral print Suno dress. Her hair (and the midriff cutout) gave an otherwise straightforward look some ~swag~. Noted: florals, dresses, and slices of stomach look good with green hair. But that's not all!!
Slime green for spring, duh.

Let it be known that the first week of April 2014 was the week everyone dyed their hair, or at least pretended to (we're looking at you, Lauren Conrad). Katy Perry debuted her "slime green for spring" 'do on Instagram, after mentioning last week that she was excited about the color. While the color, at least on Instagram, doesn't appear to be as bright as the green slime that gets dumped on celebrities' heads at Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards, that's probably a hard color to achieve on hair. Also, who knows, maybe she used Walden as a filter (it's not very vibrant).
