Demi Lovato and her blue hair for 'NYLON.'
Photo: 'NYLON' Magazine/Marvin Scott Jarrett
It looks like our dreams of a blue-haired Demi Lovato on the cover of a magazine have come true! Thanks, NYLON: we should've guessed the fave magazine of ~alt girls~ everywhere would give Demi's blue tresses the attention they deserve! Demi debuted her blue 'do a full two months ago and has since graced three magazine covers, but all featured blonde Demi. Now, like an early Christmas present, a blue-haired Demi spread has been wrapped and delivered. So, while it may only be the 2nd day of December, this month is shaping up already.
The color of Demi's hair has faded since she first dyed it (even since it glowed in the "Neon Lights" video, actually). Her dark roots have also grown out, turning it into an enviable colorful ombre. It also looks like she's collecting a number of blue hued highlights around the front of her face, and, TBH, I'd start a blue highlight collection too if it would look like Demi's hair and not a Smurf hibernating on my head. Alas.

HEY, MEN. Want long, luxurious locks like Harry Styles? You're in luck! Great Lengths, a British hair extension company, has a line of "Men-Hancements" (LOL), which the men of London are using on the regular. British men are so into extensions that the company says that men will account for 10% of their sales this year. That's a lot of "men-hancements," y'all!
The site has pictures of models and men who decided to "men-hance" themselves and, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but none of them come close to approximating the undone, voluminous coiffure that's now signature to Harry. That hair, with its front height and side curls cannot (and should not, IMHO) be attempted by anyone else: we saw that last week in the One Direction ad for Macy's.
Harry Styles, Liam Payne, and Cindy Crawford walk the runway at 1D Day.

One Direction members, part-time Macy's salesmen, American Music Award winners, and... models? Yep. Two members of 1D have ditched singing to parade their beautiful faces all over the globe. JK! Over the weekend, though, was a 7-hour livestream for 1D Day, and Harry Styles and Liam Payne took to a catwalk to strut their stuff. Judging the walk off? Oh, Cindy Crawford, our OG House Of Style host, NBD.
Harry and Liam took to the runway in fan-made shirts: one featured song lyrics, another song titles, and one just had 5 stripes and, TBH, I'm not sure how it was relevant to 1D. One of the shirts Harry couldn't get over his headband in time, so he just carried it in front of his tattooed torso, which was pleasant, but also unusual. I mean, CHELLO, you're Harry Styles. We've seen you shirtless before! You were shirtless throughout 1D Day! Why so shy in front of a professional model? You know her. You made pizza with her kids, remember? She won't judge you too harshly!
Rihanna rocks a bob and a bodysuit out in NYC.

YAAS, Rih! We see you, girl! And not just because you may be the only person in NYC not wearing pants outside in November! (To be fair, it did get above freezing temps recently.) Rihanna debuted a brand new ‘do while out and about in the Big Apple this weekend celebrating the end of her Diamonds World Tour, and while we are DYING to know what her real hair looks like (because it changes shape on the reg these days), we are LOVING its latest incarnation. Rih stepped out with a chunky bob and bangs, cut by her long-time hairstylist, Ursula Steven, who was also responsible for the sleek, asymmetrical bob that helped put her on the map in 2007. Wearing a velvet, long-sleeved, mock neck playsuit from her River Island collab and thigh-high boots, Rihanna werqued her leggy mod look with a double dog tag necklace and a bold red lip. Gah, so good.

Dear Robert Pattinson’s New Goatee,
Look, I know we don’t really know each other that well, but I’ve got a bone to pick with you, sir. You’re new around here, I get that. But first impressions are hard to change and my first impression of you and your finely-tuned shape is, well, not great. I don’t necessarily want to make you feel unwelcome, but like, what exactly are you doing on R. Patz’s face? Why are you here? What is your purpose?
The unkempt beard was one thing. That, we could at least relate to—because TBH, shaving (your face, legs, etc.) can be a total time suck and sometimes it’s just SO much easier to let your follicles run free for a while, you know? Also, I don't believe for a minute that you're around for a role, so don't try to play that card with me. As far as I’m concerned, ~all~ characters can be conquered by a prosthetic facial piece. I mean, you saw Tom Hanks in Castaway, right? There is no way that man grew a curly blond beard on his own.
A still from 'Searching,' a short film starring Selena Gomez.
When we peeped Selena Gomez's Flaunt Magazine spread last week, we were totally digging her blunt bob. Despite our positive feelings, in the corresponding short film that was just released, it's clear Selena was not feeling her new 'do.
The video begins with Selena in bed, in the same lingerie/skirt combo from the shoot. Also in bed? That shirtless guy! He's known by his family, friends, and fans as Shiloh Fernandez. He plays guitar (shirtless), nuzzles Selena (shirtless), and smiles (shirtless). Just as we were getting used to him, he disappears.
Jennifer Lawrence on the cover of 'InStyle.'
Behold pre-pixie Jennifer Lawrence on the cover of the December issue of InStyle. The cover captured J.Law before her major chop and dye job, at a time when, according to the Hunger Games star, her hair was an "awkward length" and "awkward color." Yesterday, during a Yahoo Fireside Chat, Jennifer said she cut it because it "...couldn't get any uglier." It's really not that bad, Jenn! It looks sleek slicked down on this cover and, TBH, we're feeling the "awkward" length, but if you're not happy, we're not happy.
Whoa, check out Selena Gomez in a bra and bob! Don't worry, we haven't unearthed private photos of the singer: this flick and the voyeuristic ones below are from her just-released spread in Flaunt magazine. The editorial, shot by Amanda de Cadenet, features Selena in a far more mature context than we're used to seeing her. Sure, we've seen her in a teeny bikini in Spring Breakers, but the tailored looks in this steamy tryst is some seriously bracing stuff.
The black, lace bralette and the shorter 'do is enough of a different look for Selly that we almost missed the shirtless man in the foreground of the picture. Almost.
SCUURT! Jennifer Lawrence just casually debuted a very short pixie cut via her Facebook fan page without, like, any sort of explanation or announcement at all. GIRL. If you're gonna go all temporary Beyonce on us like that, you have to at least give us some deets! Lawrence was snapped en route to a meet-up with her fellow Catching Fire cast mates for The Hunger Games’ Global Fan Day, and we’re really curious as to how the franchise’s loyal fans will feel about her chopping off Katniss Everdeen’s signature side-braid. I mean, she can obvi wear a wig if it hasn’t grown out by the time the next film rolls around, but seeing Katniss without her hair at an event for The Hunger Games kinda feels like pulling back the curtain on the Wizard in The Wizard of Oz, amirite? Kind of?
Rita Ora at the Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards.

Another day, another 'do for Rita Ora! Last night at the Harper's Bazaar Women of the Year Awards, where she won Musician Of The Year, Rita debuted a new, tousled platinum coif. Though she changes her hair on the regular (remember the colored chunks from a few weeks ago?), Rita has never gone quite this blonde before. In fact, the bright color stood in such stark contrast with her brows and red lip, that the whole thing is serving major Gwen Stefani vibes.
Rita, who dubbed herself the "#icequeen," wore a white, long-sleeved, lace Ermanno Scervino gown. If you're gonna wear white after Labor Day, may as well wear it head-to-toe, right? On that note, it's a good thing there wasn't a blizzard in London last night, since it would've been near-impossible to pluck Rita from a pile of snow. Bold lipstick notwithstanding.
