Rihanna and Demi Lovato are back from the dead.

While a bunch of celebs dressed up for Halloween yesterday during daylight, a few saved it for night, when their costumes would make the biggest impact, creepiness-wise. Rihanna and Demi Lovato are two of said celebs who kept their costumes on the DL until it was dark out and then emerged...as zombies.
As you well know by now, thanks to Miley as Lil Kim, Iggy as Cruella De Vil, and Ellen DeGeneres as shirtless Nicki Minaj, Halloween is RIGHT. NOW. If you don't have a costume yet, you, my friend, are a certifiable Lazy Girl™. Hey, us, too! *high fives* We're a special breed that needs to stick together, so just in case you need some help figuring out what kind of costume you can cobble together for tonight, we're throwing you a few ideas.
A VIDEO GAME MODEL

Laziness Factor: 5
Originality Factor : 8
Thanks to the wide availability of Morphsuits this Halloween season (they're selling them at Urban Outfitters right now!), you can easily pull together a simple yet effective video game model costume. Cop an all-black Morphsuit then laden it with strips of yellow duct tape from your local hardware store and some ping pong balls (a.k.a. "sensors") glued to your joints! Sure, there's some assembly required, but you also don't have to do your makeup OR hair. Or you can just wear the black Morphsuit and be a ~shadow~, but this look is way cooler, TBH.
When Iggy Azalea started posting photos of Glenn Close as Cruella De Vil this AM, we had a sneaking suspicion she’d be devoting her Halloween costume to the devilish Disney villain. But TBH, we were NOT prepared for how totally and completely committed she’d be to bringing her costume to life. The split-color wig, of course, was a given. (Although, we must say, Iggy’s looks especially voluminous.) And the black-and-white duds? We expected those, too. (Although, that fur coat looks pretty legit and her silver accessories are a nice touch.) But the living, breathing Dalmatian and the IRL Panther De Ville (actual name) as her ride? Consider our minds blown.
YAAS, Ellen! YAAS! Man, the Halloween costume competition is getting STIFF this year, you guys. Just when we thought Miley Cyrus as Lil’ Kim couldn’t be beat, Ellen DeGeneres brings THIS noise to the table and we. Are. DYING. *slow claps* I mean, let’s be real: if your name is Ellen and you were thinking about dressing up in a costume this year, you should probably just go ahead and throw in the towel. (JK, Ellens of the world! You're gonna be great!) But seriously, Ellen DeGeneres as Nicki Minaj on The Ellen DeGeneres Show is pretty much the best EVAAAR.
Ariana Grande's 2013 Halloween costume.

After toying with cat ears for the past few weeks, it seems as though Ariana Grande took her Halloween costume in an entirely different direction. Where she ended up, though, is unclear. Ariana posted a picture to her Instagram wearing vampire teeth, fake blood, light contacts, and...a bra and a robe?
Is she a Victoria's Secret vampire? A vampire whose coffin-wear is casual PJs? In the caption of the photo Ariana reveals Halloween is her "favorite holiday bar none," which is clear: there's a lot going on. This costume, while casual, is also terrifying. Like, that's a lot of blood. Those eyes will haunt my dreams forever. They are staring into my soul. I don't know what she's doing with her hand (making a claw?), but that combined with the blood, eyes, and teeth is almost too much. Is she waving? Ahhh, IDK but I'm scurred.
Miley Cyrus' Lil Kim Halloween costume.

We should've known yesterday when we saw the purple wig that there was only one costume Miley Cyrus was considering for Halloween. An opportunity to wear a pasty AND a onesie? Those are two of Miley's fave things: Lil Kim's infamous outfit at the 1999 VMAs gives her a chance to wear both, at the same time.
This isn't the first time Miles' has dressed up as a famous female rapper for Halloween: last year she broke out a leopard print onesie (I'm sensing a trend), a bright yellow wig, and a collection of gold chains for her Nicki Minaj costume.

One confusing thing about Halloween falling on a Thursday is that no one knows when to celebrate. One good thing is that people celebrate the weekend before, the day of, and the weekend after. Hello, week of costumes, we're ready for you. A slew of celebs put on their first costumes of 2013 (LBR, there's no way Paris Hilton isn't dressing up again) this past weekend, so obvi, there are plenty of photos to peep (and copy). Hey, some celebs are clever!
We're in the homestretch, you guys: less than a week 'til Halloween! We've shown you how to revive the '90s, how to dress like characters from TV shows that aren't Breaking Bad, and how to resemble your favorite merkin-mask-wearing pop star, Lady Gaga. Now it's time to consider rounding up three of your BFFs for a group costume that guarantees it's ~Spring Break 4Evaaa~. That's right, we're talking Spring Breakers.
Anyone who has seen the movie, slash anyone who has been on the Internet once in the past year, knows that the four Spring Breakin' girls—Vanessa Hudgens, Selena Gomez, Ashley Benson, and Rachel Korine—spend the majority of the film in bathing suits. They even wear bikinis in jail. They wear cut-out one piece suits to rob other revelers. They bad. We rounded up the three most recognizable looks from the film, which, with a few exceptions, you probably have all the pieces for already. We also already laid down some Spring Breakers steez tips when the trailer came out in January, so you can add mirrored sunglasses, snapbacks, anything neon, etc. to these looks for an extra Spring Break-y costume.
Perhaps you’ve noticed that the ‘90s are back in full effect. From the crop-top takeover of fall Fashion Week to the re-emergence of our favorite pop groups (i.e. *NSYNC, TLC), it’s high time we show some appreciation for the decade now-defined by the World Wide Web. (Yup. The first website was created in 1990, and by 1999, the Internet was mainstream. Free history lesson!) Don’t act like you’re not nostalgic.
There was also a lot of RULL good lady-based pop culture that came out of the ‘90s, so we’ve put together three classic outfits from our favorite female icons for your Halloween enjoyment. (In addition to our picks, we've also rounded up instructions for how to be Daria, The Craft and Cher Horowitz, because we're the bomb like that.) And let’s be honest: it's pretty much the 11th hour in terms of finding a costume, so if you don’t have one yet, you’re praaahbably the kind of person who tends to DIY day-of. Lucky for you, these are PERFECT for that level of laziness. (No offense.) Fashion fiends (or hoarders of epic proportions) will likely have more than half of these costume components in their closet already, so put back those pre-packaged sexy food costumes and start practicing your throwback slang, beyotch.
COREY MASON FROM 'EMPIRE RECORDS'

We mustn’t dwell. No, not today. Not on
REX MANNING DAY Halloween! Corey Mason (Liv Tyler) was the good girl with a bad streak from Empire Records, the 1995 movie about a group of misfit teens trying to keep an indie record store afloat. Damn the man, save the empire! Corey was a total babe, and is basically the embodiment of '90s comeback trends with her fuzzy cropped sweater, plaid skirt and combat boots. You’re gonna need your store badge to slip into the back room and woo Rex Manning, but don't forget to wear your ~most~ sexy red bra for your grand seduction. (Bonus points if you bake cupcakes for the occasion. After all, there are 24 usable hours in every day.) If that doesn’t work out though, you’ve always got your studies, so make sure to have your notebook handy and lay off those Jesse Spano caffeine pills!
It's crunch time, y'all. Halloween is NEXT. WEEK. If you haven't figured out what your costume is going to be by now, chances are you're feeling a little uninspired. Your roommate already claimed Miley Cyrus or you missed the boat on that Lady Gaga group costume, and your friends aren't big enough Beliebers to get that Justin Bieber as Robin look. That's OK. We still haven't even touched on the wild and wonderful hotbed of Halloween costumes that is television. Since everyone and their mom is going use All Hallows' Eve to mourn the gaping hole left by the end of Breaking Bad, we're going to skip it because those DIYs (even "sexy" versions) already exist. Same goes for Game of Thrones and the already Halloween-ready zombies and witches of The Walking Dead and American Horror Story respectively. We're helping you out with the tougher, slightly more unorthodox costumes.
JA'MIE: PRIVATE SCHOOL GIRL
Photo: HBO/Spirit Halloween/ASOS/eBay
That's right. Ja'mie's back. Chris Lilley is bringing everyone's favorite Private School Girl back for a new series starring the "Ja'miezing" Miss King. The new show will hit HBO Sunday, November 24th at 10:30 p.m. EST, and you better believe we'll be watching—no offense, anything else that's on TV at that time. Bonus: since the premiere is after Halloween, you can recycle this outfit for a "no fugly skanks allowed" viewing party.
