Beyonce, House of Dereon, Winter 2012

Beyonce reveals her House of Dereon Winter 2012 campaign.

What's that you say? You thought it was fall? Why is Beyonce already making us all painfully aware of the creeping cold snap with her Winter 2012 House of Dereon campaign when it's only October? WELL, that's because Miss Bey is a smart business lady. She knows you're booking Thanksgiving flights, daydreaming about mom's mashed potatoes, and she realizes how QUICKLY the holiday season is going to creep up on you. You're going to need gifts for your besties and some show-stopping cocktail dresses for the infinity billion eggnog fiestas you're going to pen into your calendar. That's why she's making doubly sure that House of Dereon is your first association with the season to come. Don't sleep on Bey. Girl knows what she's doing.

Beyonce Onesies Obama

As we get closer and closer election day (November 6!), more fashion industry faves are pitching in to show their support for President Barack Obama. Earlier this year, Marc Jacobs and Prabal Gurung created custom tees for Anna Wintour's high-end designer Runway to Win product line, but the newest (and perhaps cutest!) addition to the collection are these 'dorbs baby onesies that Beyonce and her mom Tina Knowles made. All together now: Awwwwwww! The House of Dereon designer and new mama is already proving that her baby girl Blue Ivy is oh-so-fashion-forward (I mean, she wears Marc Jacobs slippers when she's less than a year old. Case closed.), so Bey wants to make sure infants across the nation can also show their presidential support—in the cutest way possible, of course.

Attention, Internet. *taps mic two times* Beyonce has unleashed a fashion Easter egg in your midst! This afternoon, the "I Was Here" singer revealed the campaign for House of Dereon's Fall 2012 collection, and it is suuuuuultry. Reminiscent of Bey's own fashion-packed "Run The World (Girls)" music video, the campaign shots picture her walking hard across a sandy, cracked desert floor in her latest designs like this here belly-baring, flirty femme fatale ensemble - the ingredients of which are all available for purchase right NOW!

I'm really starting to believe that Beyoncé is actually a glamorous alien sent to Earth to straight-up PWN the world with excellence in everything she attempts, all with a gentle smile and an infectiously warm personality. We're all well-aware of her musical domination, but she's also killing it in the fashion universe with House of Dereon, her joint sartorial operation with mom Tina Knowles. The new website is up and running, and now the Knowles ladies are premiering the Spring 2012 lookbook alongside a brand-new campaign for the season starring Bey herself!

This Saturday, Beyoncé launched the newest House of Dereon collection alongside mom and business partner, Tina Knowles, at Selfridges as part of London Fashion Week. The mind-bending speed with which she eased from attending New York Fashion Week shows to strutting down a catwalk across the Atlantic for her own line in a sparkly black suit cut to there (all while PREGNANT like it's NBD) is totally baffling and evocative of many wild fist-shakes and utterances of "HOW does she DO it?!!" Though admittedly, we're not the authority on maternity wear by any stretch of the imagination, we're not convinced that anyone could rock a full-body sequins situation whilst gestating another human being quite like Miss Bey, and for that, we light another candle and add it to the shrine (you know you have one, too).

Beyonce House of Dereon

Just in case the flurried frenzy about Beyoncé's intimate Roseland Ballroom shows caused you to forget for a moment what a renaissance woman she is, listen up. And listen up good. NOT ONLY can she sing and dance her face off, but girl is also impossibly gorgeous and a creative and savvy businesswoman. House of Deréon has rolled out its first set of City Jungle A/W 11 ads, and Queen Bey herself is modeling the collection! B stood in front of the lens for the line she collaborates on with her mother, Tina Knowles, positively oozing so many classes of sensuous and with enough energy behind her eyes to make Tyra stand up, wipe away a single tear, and initiate a nationwide slow clap.

I’m about to drop some knowledge on you. You ready? It has been a solid decade since Destiny’s Child dropped “Bootylicious.” WE HAVE NOT BEEN READY FOR THIS JELLY FOR MORE THAN 10 YEARS. Aside from officially feeling old, the song also marks the 10-year anniversary of Miss Beyoncé being a totally bootylicious icon, reminding the world over that Mrs. Jay-Z is really, truly, a diva. And without riling anyone up, Bey has not always been a fashion star—once upon her time she was wearing only clothes designed by her mother’s House Of Deréon, which definitely suited her colorful, sexy aesthetic. She still does rock the Dereon brand now and again, but her fashion tastes have gone toward the avant garde—i.e. the Gareth Pugh head-to-toe look from "Run The World"—but every now and then we miss that fresh-faced Bey, in her nylon blends and neon colors.

When she sat down with W magazine to discuss the seven looks that defined her career, Beyoncé opted for high-fashion moments like the heart-stopping "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)" getup. While we appreciate her choices, we’ve been following Honey B for a long time, and we have to say she may be rewriting history. We compare her choices with our choices and can remember—the reason we love Beyoncé so much is because, even in her flashiest and most youthful moments, she is a real powerhouse.

Beyoncé sites her first solo video (and start of her relationship with Jay) as a pivotal style moment because she wanted to dress in a way her fans could copy. We love it because it reminds us that, from the get-go, Beyoncé is fierce in a pair of daisy dukes and a white tee, just doing her dance thing. She harkens back to Destiny’s Child in the colorful, clingy outfits at the end—we wish it was just jeans and tees through the whole song.

We're used to seeing singer Beyoncé in fancy frocks from designers like Tom Ford, Andrew Gn, and Roberto Cavalli. So, you can imagine what a pleasant surprise it was to spot the blonde bombshell yesterday in New York City looking casual chic in silver-studded black leggings (that look very similar to the ones she wore in a House of Dereon Fall 2010 ad campaign), a cropped leather jacket, Alexander McQueen Buckled Zip Ski Boots, dark shades, a snakeskin bag, and a Wildfox Couture tee that read "Love is Everything." Love is how we feel about this ensemble.

Yes, that's Beyonce.

• A blond Beyoncé shows off temporary tattoos and lace on top of a motorcycle in the fall House of Deréon ads (seen above). A little Rihanna-esque, don't you think? {QUEM}

• Who says blonds have more fun? Not Kristen Bell, who loved her brunette wig in her upcoming film Burlesque so much that she might just go brown in real life. {People StyleWatch}

• It's Christmas in August! Not really. But we kinda thought so when we saw Rihanna step out in bright red hair and an even brighter green dress. {Rihanna Daily}

• Italian architect Gaetano Pesce collaborated with Melissa shoes to develop a pair of plastic booties that can be cut into ballet flats, sandals, or whatever style you want! {T Magazine}

Vena Cava's forthcoming collection for Bloomingdale's in-house line Aqua includes some nice silk and mesh tees. {Fashionista}

Katy Perry looks just as lovely when she wears all one color, as she does in stripes. {Guardian}

• Check out a preview of Camilla Skovgaard's new collection. The City's Samantha Swetra would surely be a fan, don't you think? {Nitrolicious}

• Today, Anna Wintour is the impeccably-dressed editor of Vogue, but Anna Wintour wore her share of sweatshirts, sequins, and sheer tops in her days of youth. {Styleite}

I love these two as a couple. What a festive way to celebrate two important events in their life. Mariah looks like a dream.
