Classic Lady Gaga is back.

Welcome back, classic Lady Gaga! In a video clip to promote ticket sales for her upcoming ARTPOP Ball Tour in the UK, Mother Monster brought back a look from her "Poker Face" days with a platinum, full-bang hairstyle, her signature pointy shoulder pads, and indoor sunglasses (of course). Little Monsters will be pleased to know they can dust off their The Fame-era wigs. It's OK, Monsters, you can temporarily retire your smeared white face- and body powder. It was too hard to copy on an everyday basis anyway.

It's hard to believe that in early 2013 Lady Gaga was forced to cancel her tour and undergo hip surgery. It's even harder to believe that she flew beneath the radar while she recuperated and it wasn't until late July that she emerged and, subsequently, crammed a whole lotta fashion into the end of this year. The past five months have been full of uncomfortable footwear, unique accessories, and outfits only Lady Gaga would consider appropriate for 10-hour flights. Though she largely mixes up her looks (like, hourly, amirite?), there are actually some common elements her ensembles, and we've found them and rounded them up for your viewing pleasure.

Now, without further ado, what Lady Gaga wore in 2013:

5 APPLICATIONS OF WHITE FACE AND BODY POWDER

If you hate when your sunscreen isn't rubbed in entirely, this pale look probably isn't doing much for you. Gaga wore white powder all over her face, arms, and legs in varying levels of opacity throughout the fall. If any gymnasts need a better grip but are out of chalk, just find some of Mother Monster's clothing and rub your hands along it. Problem solved!

Lady Gaga in Peter Movrin at LAX.
Photo: Splash News

Remember when Lady Gaga showed up at LAX late this November in head-to-toe leather and silk? She was a vision of future-goth, dripping with inky fabric that pooled at her feet as she prepared to board an 11-hour flight to Tokyo. You were likely either bewildered or amazed. At first glance, the eye-bugging outfit, created by Slovenian designer Peter Movrin, seems better-suited for hanging out in a museum than being worn on an airplane (can you imagine trying to use the teeny tiny in-flight bathroom in this thing?), but that's exactly why it works for the ARTPOP singer, whose recent album is, among many things, an ode to where avant meets accessible.

As it turns out, Movrin's sensibilities match Gaga's in more ways than one. The designer, a self-proclaimed Iris Van Herpen obsessive, creates wearable art that embraces “the ugly”—an idea that Mother Monster has sartorially toyed with many times, especially as of late. (See also: the artwork for singles "Dope" and "Applause.") The creation Gaga wore, which hails from Movrin’s Gothic architecture-inspired Franz Madonna collection, and we caught up with the designer over the phone to figure out exactly how much Gaga’s travel threads weigh, what went into its making, and Movrin's own forays with wearable meat.

Lady Gaga wore more outfits in one weekend than most people do in, like, a year. These were obviously not your run-of-the-mill T-shirt and jeans either. One of her dresses featured a working iPad, and she paired another with winter's hottest headpiece: a decorated Christmas tree. She managed to squeeze in six other looks, and as usual, they're all worth discussing, so let's get to it!

Lady Gaga is starting to make an art of leaving hotels. HAH. Get it? o_O (Sorry, it's Friday.) On Wednesday, Gaga left a London hotel in a sprawling cape printed with Da Vinci's Mona Lisa. She also matched her makeup to resemble the famous subject. Today, she walked out in an oversized sweatshirt painted to resemble Picasso's 1932 piece, Girl before A Mirror. The original mostly makes use of primary colors, while Gaga's version is tinted in pastels. (Do I spy a hint of Pantone's Color of the Year, Radiant Orchid, in there? How hip and trendy of you, Gagaloo!) Mother Monster wore a pink, knee-length fishtail skirt under her mock Picasso and accessorized with yellow, tasseled platform brogues, ruffle-top ankle socks, and fishnet hose.

Lady Gaga does her best 'Mona Lisa' impression.
Photo: Splash News

Just yesterday, we saw Lady Gaga leave Tokyo in demented Disney princess jeans. Like, the pants that many people wear daily. Alas, after just a few hours of trying out life in everyday denim, Gaga is back to doing her own thang, this time in a Mona Lisa printed cape. Turning iconic works of art into clothing is, so far, a big part of Gaga's ARTPOP era steez (see: her Botticelli dress and Jeff Koons Gazing Ball purse). Her tour merch is going to be so artsy!

Gaga left her hotel in London wearing what, TBH, looks like a blanket that she bought on the street outside the Louvre and cut a head hole into. Given how much she loves bedazzling, I wouldn't be surprised if she broke out the scissors every once in a while. Much like the recognizable Disney princesses on her jeans, this Mona Lisa bears a close resemblance to the one that sits in the museum, but is inexplicably a little ~off~. Gaga's cape/blanket ML seems happier than Da Vinci's. The air of mystery surrounding her has evaporated. She also seems to have had a touch of rhinoplasty and a hint of chin surgery. Say hello to 21st century Mona, y'all.

Lady Gaga at the Tokyo airport.
Photo: Splash News

In a surprising act of normalcy, Lady Gaga ditched her wigs, strapped on her staple shoes, and wore jeans (*GASP*) to catch a flight from Tokyo's Narita Airport today. Not just any jeans, mind you—these jeans were BAGGY (*DOUBLE GASP*) and rolled over at the waist. I mean, Gaga NEVER wears jeans. In fact, whereas 99% of the population would typically wear jeans with, say, a flannel shirt, Mother Monster has, on multiple occasions, opted to go sans pants entirely. Until now.

At the end of the day, though, she's still Lady Gaga—which is why she chose a pair covered in demented-looking Disney princesses. Seriously, there's something way off about the way their faces are painted, amirite? I highly doubt that Walt would approve. *shudder*

Lady Gaga performing on SMAPxSMAP.

In between bedazzling seashell sessions, Lady Gaga has been hitting up many a TV show while in Japan. Over the weekend, she was on Music Station Japan in a vintage Gianni Versace jacket, Kansai Yamamoto pants, and Spring '14 Versace belt, and for her performance on SMAPxSMAP, Gaga continued mixing Versace with Yamamoto for, as she aptly dubbed it, "serious glam history." (Yamamoto is perhaps best known for designing David Bowie's Ziggy Stardust tour wardrobe.)

Gaga's performance kicked off with a colorful jacket from the Japanese designer. She traded in the Botticelli wig which she has been giving a lot of head time while in Tokyo for the frizzy white wig she favored at the Glamour Women Of The Year Awards and in Berlin. How many wigs do you think Lady Gaga brings when she travels? How many suitcases are filled only with wigs? 5 or more? I guess she's used to facing a lot of baggage fees. She's been in Tokyo for less than a week and worn at least 5 vastly different wigs. She even broke her "Personal record for wig changes in one day." Congrats, Gagaloo!

Multiple Mother Monsters.

Sorry, World. Japan officially loves Lady Gaga the most. (Please don't kill the messenger.) But, I mean, it's true. Japan loves Gaga SO much that they out Tussaud'ed Madame Tussauds (and out creeped Lars and the Real Girl) by making an entire army of Mother Monsters. An army that plays ARTPOP from the heart AND wears 9-inch platform stilettos. #upgrade Also, you can apparently hug these Gaga clones without getting swept up by burly security guards. At least, that's what a video from Yahoo! Japan implies.

Lady Gaga tweeted a photo of three VERY real-looking "GagaDolls" sitting on a couch in Japan with the caption, "Who needs barbies when you can own your own life size pop star that sings to you #gagadollz." Hey, Santa? Is it too late to add this to my Christmas list?

OK, Lady Gaga. We get it. You have infinite outfits. And wigs. You have ALL the outfits and ALL the wigs. Earlier today, Mother Monster added yet another element to her ARTPOP promo takeover with the debut of a short film that basically has her changing clothes every 3 seconds. Set to the tune of her album's title track, An ARTPOP Film was directed by Inez and Vinoodh, who are also responsible for several of Gaga's earlier ARTPOP shoots including: the video for "Applause," the "DOPE" single art and editorials for V Magazine (the one where she's naked) and Attitude Magazine (the one with the dreadlocks).

And in true ARTPOP fashion, we have no idea what she's getting at with this new short film. So, rather than trying to feign artsy insight, we just decided to dog pile all of the outfits for you to gawk at instead.
