Whew, there's finally some major momentum over in Gossip Girl Land (aka Manhattan's Upper East Side). This week's episode centered around Blair's (Leighton Meester) bridal shower thrown by her BFF and Made of Honor, Serena (Blake Lively), of course. S and all of B's minions tried to throw the soon-to-be royal bride off the control trail and tricked her into thinking the shower was "casual" and would involve things like shaved Hawaiian ice (still can't believe they fooled her with that). Dan (Penn Badgley) wasn't invited to the shower shindig, so he went to Chuck (Ed Westwick)—who also wasn't invited—for help in toughening up his Lonely Boy image. Instead, Dan ends up getting his drink on and running off to Blair's shower. Meanwhile, Diana (Elizabeth Hurley) schemed with Nate's (Chace Crawford) grandfather who, it turns out, owns the Spectator website, and has given her three days to steal Gossip Girl's traffic or she'll be out of a job. Nate finds all of GG's sources and gives them to Diana and Serena, but both decide not to leak the information.

Who does leak the info? Oh, just Blair's lame-o fiancé, Prince Boring Louis (Hugo Becker), who keeps trying to prove to Blair that her friends do not have her best interests at heart. Poor Blair finds out the hard way in the middle of her Tiffany-themed shower (not a piece of melting shaved ice in the place), and she tells her Prince to beat it while she figures things out. Oh, and over in secret identity story lines, Charlie (aka Ivy) (Kaylee DeFer) tries to buy off her sketchy ex who decides to blackmail her instead. But what about Blair and CHUCK? If you haven't caught up yet, we won't spoil the rest for you. Check back here weekly for our fashion recap!

Behind the backdrop of Eric Van Der Woodsen's (Connor Paolo) 18th birthday party, major drama goes down in "While You Weren't Sleeping," the 16th episode of Gossip Girl season four. Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester) tries to "race to greatness" by spreading herself too thin. But in the end her plan to fast-track her career leaves her overly caffeinated and wearing two different (but equally cute!) embellished pumps to Eric's party. Despite her best efforts to do it ALL, Blair gets fired/quits W magazine. Meanwhile, Serena Van Der Woodsen (Blake Lively) is forced to choose sides between her fam and her new beau Ben Sharp (David Call), and Lily Humphrey (Kelly Rutherford) and Chuck Bass (Ed Westwick) are in cahoots to get back Bass Industries. Oh, and Vanessa Abrams (Jessica Szohr) makes a return to Brooklyn/the Upper East Side to beg for forgiveness from Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley), who seems to be crushing hard on Blair. Check out all of our fave Upper East Siders' styles below.

Angelina Jolie recently took her style aesthetic to a whole new level by choosing luxurious, cozy fabrics to wear during a worldwide promo tour for her newest film, The Tourist (with a pit stop at the premiere of Megamind). From velvet and satin, to decadent wool, the actress/humanitarian/mother of six showed that what a garment is made out of can be just as statement-making (and a lot more important...i.e. WARM) as its cut and color.

Angelina wore a L'Agence embellished top and velvet blazer with velvet pants for the premiere of Megamind, which she attended with her stylish beau Brad Pitt, in Paris on Nov. 29. She finished the head-to-toe black look with matching Salvatore Ferragamo pumps.

For the New York City premiere of her new movie, The Tourist, which she stars in with Johnny Depp, Angelina chose a floor-length angora gown from Atelier Versace. The waist-gathered white dress had a plunging neckline and a thigh-high slit. Angelina completed the winter white ensemble in matching Ferragamo heels.

Angelina opted for Versace again for the Berlin premiere of The Tourist on Dec. 14. The strapless velvet dress even came with built-in gloves! Style and comfort—we love!

Even though Angelina wears black often on the red carpet, she manages to make it fun each time! For the Rome premiere of The Tourist, Angelina mixed a velvet black Ferragamo blazer with satin pants. She made the menswear-inspired look feel feminine by wearing her hair down and applying a coat of bright red lipstick.

During the Madrid photocall for her movie promo tour, Angelina rocked a black blouse tucked into wide-leg trousers. She finished her classic look with a white Michael Kors angora shrug and a gold Tiffany & Co. "Elsa Peretti" bone cuff.

The actress stunned us in a black and white Versace gown, which had a Swarovski encrusted top and luxurious velvet skirt. Absolutely divine!!

I love these two as a couple. What a festive way to celebrate two important events in their life. Mariah looks like a dream.
