Jennifer Lawrence on the cover of 'Elle' France.
Um, you guys, do you know what comes out in less than a month (officially as of yesterday)? CATCHING FIRE! Elle France snagged Katniss Everdeen herself, a.k.a. Jennifer Lawrence, and a wind machine (we plebes know it as a fan) for their October cover. Unlike J.Law's Vogue cover, where her shorter crop was on display, her hair here is Katniss-braid long, but it's blonde and not the deep chocolate color Katniss is known for. Her makeup is also very Katniss-esque, read: barely there. Like, she has some light rose lip color, and that's it. The lighting and focus on the cover is soft: Jennifer barely looks bothered by the wind that is tousling her hair a lot. Probz why she has that Oscar.
Fashion-wise, Jenn could be wearing a plain black t-shirt for all we know, though based on the inside spread, which, BTW, features Dior and only Dior, it seems pretty likely that something elaborate is going on out of frame.

We've been dying to get our eyes on Jennifer Lawrence's new Miss Dior campaign ever since we first heard that the Oscar winner (get used to us saying that, Jenn!) was named the face of the French brand back in October. It's clearly our lucky day, because now we've not ONLY got the gorgeous Spring/Summer ads, but a special behind the scenes sneak peek, as well. Because if we've learned ANYTHING over the past few months? It's that we can never have enough J.Law in our lives.

With her bow and arrow-wielding Katniss cred AND her simultaneous rise as fashion's newest darling, there aren't many people who can hopscotch between glamour and The Hunger Games like Jennifer Lawrence. Sure, we all know that she's got a killer instinct (literally) as the star of the blockbuster action franchise. But within the last few months the actress has also graced the covers of British VOGUE, W, and landed a super high fashion spread in VOGUE, proving that maybe she really CAN do it all. And now she's taking it one step further, as the latest muse for Christian Dior. This morning WWD reported that the 22-year-old has been named the newest face for the label's Miss Dior handbags, an honor previously held by fellow stars like Mila Kunis and Marion Cotillard.
