Our girl Karlie Kloss is an enigma of time and space. It seemed like whenever we so much as glanced at a runway, she was on it. Does the woman ever sleep? We're not sure. But we clearly have a lot to learn. Here are 11 times Karlie made Fashion Week look easy. *cries into coffee* *eats another Karlie's Kookie*

It's done, y'all. Another Fashion Week has come and gone, and we now know what we, or more likely, celebs, will be wearing come the warmer days in seventh months. That's a lot of time to think about what to wear come April, and also a lot of recovery time. Fashion Week is exhausting! We're worn out from writing about it from the comfort of a chair, so we can only imagine how Fashion Week fixtures feel after running around in multiple fancy outfits per day, schmoozing with other famous peeps, and sitting on a hard bench with two inches in each direction to call their own.

Teen Wolf star Holland Roden was one of our front row faves from the past week, hitting up not one, not two, but FIVE shows. Two of those shows were in the same day, which Holland took as an opportunity to change her outfit, hair, and shoes. Oh, she also wore different colors to each show, and that only included NYFW standard black ONCE. Let's take a look at her wildly varying looks.

REBECCA MINKOFF

Holland kicked off her week at Rebecca Minkoff and was obviously a fan of the live Janelle Monae soundtrack: she Instagrammed a pic of the singer, which also serves to give plebes like us a taste of front row life. It tastes like air because of #fashion. JK, it tastes like almonds because of #fashion. Holland wore a navy leather shirt, black, white, and pink striped pants, and some strappy red pumps.

"Fabulous" is, admittedly, an oft overused word, but never have I ever FULLY understood what it meant until meeting David and Phillipe Blond (better known as The Blonds) and seeing their work up close. Sure, you can tell from photographs that their curve-glorifying silhouettes, heavy with gems and crystals like the world's most glamorous barnacles, are major show-stoppers and how that has made them go-to designers for the high octane performance outfits of all your favorite pop stars: Katy Perry, Ke$ha, Beyonce, Selena Gomez, and, like, infinity more. But seeing the pieces first-hand, glittering less than a foot from your eyeballs? That's another story entirely.

We totally freaked out when we heard that Kristin Cavallari was designing her first ever clothing line for NYFW--especially when we realized it also involved the NFL. We were all, "Wait, MTV star + fashion + ...sports? How can this be?" In collaboration with Junk Food clothing, our ex-Hills girl (and wife of Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler) designed 32 fashion-y fan looks for each team on the NFL. (Whew, girl put in WORK.) Some of our favorite pieces included a super mod patchwork Denver Broncos-inspired frock, a throwback graphic Miami Dolphins sweatshirt, and a 'dorbs oversized Arizona Cardinals floral print shirtdress. All ensembles were paired with stilettos from Kristin Cavallari's Chinese Laundry line (duh!), which totally completed the look.

Allison Williams, Iggy Azalea, Olivia Palermo

While the shows at New York Fashion Week are officially winding down, there is still a lot to discuss and dissect, including what celebs hit up what shows and, of course, what they wore. Yesterday was the last full day of shows, so the front rows were packed with famous faces and FASHUN. Allison Williams, a front-row fixture at Fashion Week this year, hit up the Reed Krakoff show in a black, tan, and white color-blocked dress, paired with a gold cuff, black sandals, and a black bag. Iggy Azalea attended a few shows yesterday, but wore a black and blue cut-out dress with black booties to The Blonds show. Olivia Palermo, who def attended the most NYFW shows (get this girl a prize!), trekked from show to show yesterday in two sets of polka dots. Dots on dots on top and bottom: she wore a spotted Tibi shirt and dotted peeptoes, broken up by a flared white skirt. She threw in a pop of color with an orange-and-white Smythson clutch and, typically, didn't remove her reflective sunglasses, even indoors.

Bibhu-Mohapatra

Looks from Bibhu Mohapatra's Spring 2014 show.

Wouldn't it be cool if someone designed an entire collection based on YOU and it was beautiful and evocative and classically-shaped and *expensive* and was covered in sharp, geometric prints and 3D flower embellishments? And then to boot, let’s say this collection garnered an ocean of golf claps after its debut at New York Fashion Week. I mean, the way that I see it, that means that people would basically be golf-clapping for YOU, but in clothing form -- and I don’t know about y’all, but I long for the day when I can be seen as the sage-colored taffeta gown (with pockets) that I am.

When Bibhu Mohapatra designed his Spring 2014 collection, he had a good friend in mind. This friend, Wendy Whelan, redefined herself as a performer when she switched over to modern dance after a long career as a principal dancer with the New York City Ballet. So Bibhu too, then looked to redefine the pieces he created this season. And just as the clothes were inspired by someone near and dear to the designer’s life, sound stylist Javier Peral found a similar motivation for the music he chose to accompany Bibhu’s new line. Wanna know who it was? Check out Javier’s own words about the (as of yet unsigned!) band behind the Bibhu Mohapatra runway soundtrack after the jump!

nanette-lepore

Scott Mou knows music. Not only is he the buyer for famed NYC music retailer, Other Music, but the long-time DJ-around-town also put out a few albums under the band name Jane, an electronic duo whose second half was Animal Collective’s Panda Bear (the two once worked together at Other). So, it was no surprise that we caught Mou behind the booth at Nanette Lepore’s Spring 2014 runway show—the man’s in high demand! What we were surprised by, however, was Mou’s decision to roll out the runway music via compact disc—YES, an actual burned c.d.! Holy ‘90s, right? Well, holy ‘80s, to be exact. Mou used a collection of songs (and covers of songs) from the era of shoulder pads and parachute pants for Lepore's soundtrack. And TBH, it was nothing short of amazing.

BTW: Seeing as how it’s 90+ degrees in New York today, Nanette's collection, which included delicate spaghetti-strap dresses, bold corals, light, lace neutrals and floral-print bathing suits, was spot-on for spring AND this sweltering weather. Although, we’d much prefer wearing her laid-back, beach-ready line with our feet in the sand, not on the asphalt. #DREAMS

carolina-herrera

Ugh. You guys. Even classy dame extraordinaire, Carolina Herrera, is doing crop-tops now—so ladies, start your crunches! While I’d hoped to spend the Fall/Winter 2013 season hibernating alongside warm, heavy dishes, it seems as if my plans have finally been foiled, thanks to the High Priestess of High Society. Not even my “stylish” sweatshirts can save me now. *SIGH* Granted, her crop-tops were lovely and some came paired with floor-length skirts, but there were bare abs, nonetheless.

However, Herrera also debuted a gorgeous collection of polished gowns and delicate cocktail dresses for Spring 2014, as expected by students of the designer’s long-standing institution of sophistication. There were warm, earthy colors, ornate embellishments and graphic, geometric prints that created an optical illusion of sorts with multiple layers of light-as-air fabrics. Nearly every piece drifted with feather-like fluidity, and it was that aspect of the collection that Javier Peral chose to focus on when choosing songs for Herrera’s show. Wanna kick back and relax with Peral's ethereal runway soundtrack? Of course you do. Check it (and the sound stylist's inspiration) after the jump! Crunches can wait.
