Regardless of whether or not you scored a nomination, the Golden Globes after-parties have long-provided the perfect excuse for stars to dust off that designer gown they've been meaning to wear since, like, FOREVER. (Forever meaning since it hit the Spring 2014 runways, of course.) The step-and-repeats at parties thrown by InStyle/Warner Bros. and Netflix/The Weinstein Company brought some stellar wardrobe changes from the show's attendees and a whole new set of stars who gave us plenty to swoon over. We picked out a few of our faves, which included Nina Dobrev, Taylor Swift, and two very dapper Jonas Brothers.

Now that the Golden Globes are over, if you need me, I'll be down by the beach sipping on a piña colada. JK. I'll be in my robe, on my couch, binge-watching something on Netflix, probably. A girl can't help but dream about bikinis and sunshine, though, especially after seeing all the bold, sunny colors that some stars showed up in for the InStyle/Warner Bros. after-party. Nikki Reed channeled the Caribbean Sea in an aqua-colored gown by Monique Lhuillier, which had a train that resembled gentle waves. (I'm not still dreaming, I swear.) Hunger Games alum, Isabelle Fuhrman, chose a canary-yellow drop-waist dress by Paper London. I can almost feel my first sunburn, can't you? Finally, former Revenge star Ashley Madekwe looked like a (super-elegant) fruity, frozen concoction in a tri-color gown by Roksanda Ilincic. Wake me up when summer comes back, kthx.

Nikki Reed covers the November/December issue of 'ZOOEY.'
Photo: via 'ZOOEY' magazine Facebook

Nikki Reed has played a troubled highschooler in Thirteen, a rebellious California girl in Lords of Dogtown, and an adopted Cullen in Twilight. But a '50s housewife? Mmmm, not so much... until now, that is. She may prefer to sport sleek column dresses and modern-looking metallics on the red carpet, but the writer-actress flexes her dramatic muscles even further in the November/December issue of ZOOEY magazine, channeling her inner Stepford wife in prim collars, pretty prints, and even leather driving gloves. The cover might be simple with its teal background and lack of splashy headlines, but as Lena Dunham's recent iD cameo proves, this straightforwardness (and Nikki's gorgeous glance) is exactly what makes this shot SO compelling.

Kristen Stewart, Ashley Greene and Elle Fanning at ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2' premiere.
Photo: Getty Images

Despite what you might think, last night definitely wasn't your average Monday- it was an event of epic proportions, as The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 finally, FINALLY premiered in Los Angeles. Pretty much all of young Hollywood hit the red carpet, and looked predictably gorge. But out of all the incredible outfits, we've got to hand it to the lady of the hour, Miss Kristen Stewart, for pulling out all the stops and turning out in a nude Zuhair Murad gown. We honestly don't know what we're more obsessed with: the corseted top, the lace and chiffon, OR the fact that K.Stew is rocking yet another sheer gown?! Bold! She paired the daring dress with an equally glam beauty look, sporting hot pink lipstick (a rare moment for her) and cascading curls. Kristen's co-star Ashley Greene also opted for cream in a one-shouldered Donna Karan frock. Sure, she might PLAY a vampire, but let's be real: this girl was a farrrr cry from Alice Cullen in such an angelic-looking ensemble. Then there's Elle Fanning, who rounded out the blush-hued hat trick in hot-off-the-runway Prada . She's decked out in head-to-toe runway styling (down to the platform sandals), and if you ask us, only Elle can pull off such a quirky-cool look.

Chloe Moretz's "Chloe Grace" brogues.

Between her Aeropostle brand ambassador gig, holding honors as Max Mara's 'Face of the Future' AND regularly turning out hits on the red carpet, let's just say Chloe Moretz has her fashion game on lock. And now the actress is putting her awesome personal style to good use--and a good cause--with her latest project, designing a pair of Stuart Weitzman shoes for charity. It's all part of the Young Hollywood Cares Campaign, in which several of our favorite stars team up with the brand to create shoes for charity. The "Chloe Grace" brogues are an adorable take on the tomboy trend with a tan and navy colorway and preppy laceup details. These leather oxfords are PERFECT for fall, and the fact that the proceeds help find a cure for cancer make it a total no-brainer. Along with Chloe, fellow young actresses like AnnaSophia Robb and Nikki Reed have crafted their own Stuart Weitzman shoes, as well.

Lea Michele, Haley Reinhart, Bella Thorne and Nikki Reed at the Do Something Awards.
Photo: Getty Images

The Do Something Awards definitely isn't your average awards show. Instead of music, movies, or fashion, this annual event is all about honoring the young people who are making awesome social changes in their communities. But even though the focus isn't on fashion, some of our favorite nominees and presenters turned out in outfits so great, we just HAD to talk about them. So here goes! Lea Michele lead the biggest trend of the night, kicking things off in a cream ruffled Georgio Armani dress with a symmetrical plunging V-neckline and hi-rise hem. But the dress details weren't the only matching part of her look, since the actress paired the frock with a shimmery Fendi clutch, Jenni Kayne metallic sandals, and delicate silver earrings. Haley Reinhart was also feeling the shine last night in a sleeveless minidress, complete with cutouts and snakeskin print inching up the front. Bella Thorne opted for a girlier take on the neutral trend, in a scalloped lace BGBG number coupled with snakeskin ankle boots (plus a new hair color!). Finally, there's Nikki Reed, who has been absolutely RULING on the red carpet lately. She continued her streak of style hits this weekend in a taupe Lela Rose gown. Just like Lea, Nikki also paired her neutral dress with metallic accessories, carrying a silver box clutch and rocking sparkly Jimmy Choo sandals. Sandy shades may have dominated the carpet, but it wasn't the only look- other stars swung in the opposite direction with sleeveless, traffic-stopping bright dresses.

Nikki Reed Ariel Winter Sophia Bush

Hey, we know it's hard to dress your best in August—the humidity is at its peak of grossness and it feels like you've worn all your light, breezy dresses to death, but Nikki Reed, Ariel Winter and Sophia Bush proved that they can still look hot (heh) even in the most sweat-inducing weather. Last night at InStyle's Summer Soiree, all three ladies took a glam approach to the typical summer dress. In fact, they looked SO garden party chic, we could barely handle it! Twilight star Nikki Reed sported a demure floral Jill Stuart frock with T-strap heels and a burgundy clutch. She kept her hair and makeup minimal with just a touch of sheer pink gloss on her lips and no-nonsense beachy waves.

Kat Graham has fun interviewing Fun. for the Red Carpet Report.
Photo: MTV

What a whirlwind the Movie Awards are! What with the dresses, and the stars, and the red carpet, and...oh yeah, the show, of course, there's so much excitement we can hardly contain ourselves. By far one of the highlights of the evening, though, was seeing radiant and hilarious Special Style Correspondent Kat Graham holding a mic adorned with an MTV Style mic cube. We did a little dance in our chairs the first time we saw it. And then we did another one when we saw Charlize Theron holding it, and then we did ANOTHER one and said "Charlize holding an MTV Style mic," and then we squealed. Big things, people, big things. But no really, this was a huge night for us, and we LOVED watching Kat kill it on the carpet. She looked fierce in a Maria Lucia Hohan gown with a plunging neckline down to there and a slit up to here (#katsleg, anyone?), obvs, but we'll go further into that soon enough. For now, though, we're going to focus on the super cute stars and starlettes that Kat interviewed. She asked the hard hitting fashion questions (you know the one) and also kept it fun, and we wanted to share our fave moments with you.

You followed diligently along with us as we live blogged the 2012 MTV Movie Awards red carpet. You watched with us as Special Style Correspondent Kat Graham chatted up the young Hollywood hotties. You gasped with us as Teen Wolf's Holland Roden took our breath away on the step-and-repeat. You even let out a hefty "AWW!" with us as Kristen Stewart switched out of her Loubous and into a trusty pair of Converse kicks. Now comes the hour of the night when we sort through the red carpet finery via a flurry of Post-It notes and Sour Patch Kids, and siphon them into our official Best Dressed list. Heeeeere we go!

After that tear-jerking Trailblazer Award acceptance speech, how could you NOT love Emma Stone? On top of being a classy lady and amazing human specimen, The Amazing Spider-Man starlette also has GUH-REAT style to boot! She squeaked by in the last seconds of the red carpet, just in time for us to gaze at this gorgeous Martin Grant cocktail frock. The dress featured a structured black peplum bodice which sat crisply on top of a voluminous putty-hued balloon skirt and matching pumps with itsy bitsy ankle straps. Emma finished off her look with an effortless updo, minimal eye makeup and a punchy hot pink lip.

MTV Movie Awards Metallics

We don't wanna be all, "We called the metallic trend!" but we totally called the metallic trend. Nikki Reed, Kristen Stewart, Crystal Reed, and Christina Ricci shined on the MTV Movie Awards red carpet in summery AND shimmery ensembles. Nikki Reed looked like a golden goddess in her beaded Randi Rahm shift dress. She paired her short-sleeved stunner with a leopard print clutch and gold peep-toe heels, while keeping her makeup soft and sultry. K Stew KILLED it in a bold yellow, metallic gray and purple Guishem frock, pointy black Christian Louboutin pumps, and a Repossi triple band cage ring. She let her chestnut waves run wild (YUS) and finished her look with a seriously smokey eye and nude lips.

The 2012 MTV Movie Awards are right around the corner (this Sunday, June 3!). Along with hilarious hijinks, blockbuster parodies, and the congregation of Hollywood's hottest stars, it also means a veritable PARADE of exemplary summer style will soon hit the MTV red carpet. Our freshly announced Special Style Correspondent Kat Graham will be on-hand to cover the breaking fashion news of who is wearing what as it unfolds, but judging from the trends of Movie Awards past, it can't hurt for us to do a bit of pre-carpet predicting!
