Remember a couple of weeks ago when Obesity & Speed's Lyz Olko hinted that her upcoming collection was going to be totally BANANAS?! OK, so maybe those were our words, not hers, but the truth remains— the New York designer has outdone herself yet again, this time injecting her signature grungy basics with a decidedly sporty twist. Think shortsleeved sweatshirts with mesh insets, shredded tie-dye tees, and awesome "Can't Lose" tanks that remind us a lot of our old lacrosse pinnies....except a lot cooler, of course. Plus, this season comes with an added bonus— the spring lookbook stars none other than Sleigh Bells frontwoman Alexis Krauss as the ultimate cheerleader dropout. Win-win!

Are you craving a goth-y grunge fall makeover? Ditto. Well, look no further than downtown-friendly New York cult label, Obesity & Speed. I'm especially obsessed with co-founder Lyz Olko, who, when she's not hand-dying those salacious signature "Choose Death" t-shirts, also runs many a tight door at Gotham's goth-est of boites, perpetually shaking her disheveled dirty blonde locks/giving a smoke-y side eye to Hot Topic clad imposters. Hipper-than-thou newsflash: O&S fans include a slew of sartorial slayers with a penchant for killer duds like Sleigh Bells' Alexis Krauss, Grimes, Santigold, Natalia Kills and former O&S lookbook models Becka Diamond, Sky Ferreira, and Lindsay Wixson, who got their sulk/perfected-pout on. Olko's upcoming SS13 collection, “Can’t Lose,” is BANANAS, as you'll see below, which is to blame for us MTV Stylers shivering in our shredded skinnies/creepers. Major shout out to Lyz for my coveted anarchy tote, which I naively chose as my LAMD (look at me device) on a recent trip to Dubai (and I didn't get arrested! #Rebel). Anyway, open a credit card or three and prepare to dieee (hehe) over Lyz Olko's fashion-y Favorite Things. <3 you, girl.

Complex magazine continues to celebrate its 10th anniversary by releasing yet ANOTHER spellbinding cover (following Justin Bieber's jarring fashion beat down)—this time with Ms. Nicki Minaj. Nicki dished out one striped ensemble after another in her cover shoot photographed by Christian Anwander and styled by Rose Garcia. On the cover, she rocked a messy white blunt-banged bob with a black and neon green boat neck Ralph Lauren Purple Label sweater, killer rainbow nail art, and her signature light pink lips. Makeup artist Joyce Bonelli dotted Nicki's nose with some tribal face paint, but we're guessing that "10" around the eyes is pure CGI. If not, we seriously owe Joyce a round of drinks for making it look so perfect, but judging by the black and white tongue, we're not too convinced just yet. In the cover story, Miss Info sat down with the rap goddess to talk about the pressures of being a female in the music world and her burgeoning fashion empire that we can't wait to hear more about.
