As if the "Mirrors" Pepsi commercial that Beyonce premiered yesterday (along with close to a FULL minute of her new song "Grown Woman") wasn't enough to tide us over to the weekend, the Pepsi x Bey team rolled out a behind-the-scenes video look at the campaign shoot. AFKGLJDFLKAJ. Candid King Bey traipsing around in a robe? Rehearsing her dance steps in sky-high heels? Reflecting on her star-spangled career between takes? Yes, yes, a thousand times, YES. We want it all. The video features interviews with Mrs. Carter herself along with Global Beverage Group at PepsiCo President Brad Jakeman, the commercial's director Jake Nava (also the mastermind behind the "Single Ladies" and "Crazy In Love" videos *WINK*), and choreography director Frank Gatson, but our personal fave is obviously the iconic music video wardrobe breakdown by Bey's long-time trusted stylist Ty Hunter.

It takes a LOT for us to set our alarms extra early in the morning, but if there's anyone we'll do it for, it's Beyonce. Yesterday the superstar hinted that something huge would be coming at 9 AM on 4/4/13, and she stayed true to her word, dropping her brand new Pepsi commercial upon the world bright and early today! Although an ad might not be quite as heart-stopping as a new music video, the clip (featuring a preview of her new song "Grown Woman") DID take us down Bey memory lane. It's a blink-and-you'll-miss-it game of Beyonce style trivia with her most iconic music video looks, all stuffed into this one minute commercial. We're talking about that pink one-shouldered crop top and slit skirt from "Bootylicious," the white tank and denim hotpants from "Crazy In Love," and the black leotard and Sasha Fierce hand from "Single Ladies." Are your brains exploding yet?! There's moreee!

STOP THE PRESSES. Beyonce just uploaded a new promo image for her The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour, and she is platinum blonde. That's right, people. PLAT. I. NUM. BLONDE. I can't. Granted, we recognize that there are a bajillion mind-blowing things that Photoshop can do, and Bey has certainly embraced the software's digital magic powers in the name of Pepsi more than once before (see: this Super Bowl lip color switch and last month's pop art ad). We are also well-aware that this could just be a really good wig (when you cover Vogue Power Issue, you have the clout to source that kind of stuff). HOWEVER, you can't blame us for getting a little excited about a major beauty change like this.

Is there any look Beyonce can't work? IDK if you guys saw our New York Fashion Week beauty road-test, but statement eyes AND lips is not a steez everyone can work (what has two thumbs and used them to apply panda eyeliner?*). And yet, here's King Bey in her very Andy Warhol-esque Pepsi ads, killing it dead in dark eyeliner, turquoise shadow, and HOT pink lips. *bows to her majesty* Granted, we can't be sure what the actual makeup job is here since the colors are artificially (presumably digitally) applied, but regardless, the woman carries all the colors and beauty activity effortlessly.

Nicki Minaj Katy Perry Futuristic Ensembles

Ever since we peeped Nicki Minaj's Pepsi campaign photo last week, we just couldn't stop thinking about her head-to-toe bubblegum pink metallic space age ensemble. Then, her commercial debuted today, and it hit us—she is TOTALLY channeling Katy Perry's bright pink futuristic outfit from the American Music Awards last fall! Now that we've put the photos side by side, we can't help but gush over our style sleuthing. From the hair to the lips to the dress, EVERYTHING is doused in a shades of pink that are undeniably the same. In the commercial, Nicki wore a structured sparkly ensemble with statement shoulders (just like Katy!) and a light pink paneled bustier. She paired her fierce frock with shiny metallic leggings and matching high-top sneakers. She sported a Snooki-approved pouf in her cascading cotton candy-colored hair with matching lipstick.
