Welp, we can officially die now. Vans took their skate sneakers to the next level (literally) by creating platform versions of their traditional high-top shoes. Basically, this means there's three extra inches of awesome here, people. *high-fives entire world* Finally, us ladies have a step-up (heh) on the male skater competition with these bad boys, which are available to purchase on shop.vans.com right this second! First up, one of the most iconic designs from Vans' classics collection—the ol' black and white side stripe—has been transformed into a bold, three-inch creeper-meets-sporty sneaker platform that we just love. We could wear these with literally anything in wardrobe (think: printed jeans or floral dresses) and for just $80, these are kind of a steal! Cha-ching.

We have EYES. We've seen platforms before. From Nicki Minaj to Taylor Momsen to Kerli we've been witness to our fair share of high-rise kicks, but these Buffalo Classics certainly take the cake. With a 12-inch heel and 11-inch platform, these black flatform sneakers will make their wearer a full FOOT taller for the equally tall price of $599.95. While they're still shy of the Guinness World Record-breaking 16-inch stiletto heels that hold the title of World's Tallest, I think we can all agree that these are still some MONSTER shoes.

We aaaaall know the '90s are back. From jumpsuits to roughed up denim to flannel shirts tied around waists to Jeremy Scott's entire 2012 fall/winter collection, the garments from the dawn of the Information Age are experiencing a revival of epic proportions, but now, thanks to Nicki Minaj, Azealia Banks, and Taylor Momsen, raver chic appears to be resurfacing in footwear, as well.

Whether your dress has a bajillion strategically placed cutouts and mesh panels or you're already rocking, like, eight mismatched prints (all in the same complimentary color palette, of course—let's not get crazy), inevitably there are going to be times when your full-length mirror is screaming at you to take it down a notch on your feetsies. It's at this point when you peer into your closet, dust off those trusty solid pumps you save precisely for times like these, and slip them on with only just a twinge of sadness. Well well well, BIG NEWS, sweetheart. Take a cue from Shoe Update veteran Lucy Hale, smokin' Glee star Naya Rivera, and sultry songstress JoJo for a way to wear pumps when you need to but still keep your footwear interesting.
