We've known about Katy Perry's Prismatic World Tour since November. For half a year we've wondered what she'll wear on tour, suspected that she was subtly previewing her wardrobe, and even offered suggestions for what she should wear. With 10 days to go before the tour kicks off in Belfast, Ireland, Katy has finally given us a preview of one of her stage ensembles. And oh, NBD, it's Valentino.

Call us crazy, but we haven't stopped thinking about Katy Perry's Prismatic World Tour since she first announced it back in November. It's still three months away, but we're getting increasingly antsy and excited—especially (obviously) concerning all things wardrobe. So you've gotta understand the pure joy we felt when we saw CuteCircuit (one of Katy's favorite designers, NBD) show their Fall 2014 collection at New York Fashion Week.
Katy has worn some of their pieces before—her light-up gown at the 2010 Met Gala and white catsuit at her 2011 American Idol performance were both designed by CuteCircuit. So, when everyone started raving about iPhone-controlled miniskirts and dresses embedded with LED displays this week, Katy was probably like, "YAWWNNN. Tell me something I DON'T know." (JK, she's way nicer than that.) Designers Francesca Rosella and Ryan Genz have been doing their futuristic thing since 2004, but now that the brand is *officially* on the fashion radar, we have our fingers and toes crossed that Katy will ask her old friends to provide a few (or more) pieces for Prismatic.

Yesterday, Katy Perry announced via Twitter that she'll be spanning the globe in 2014 to support her new album, Prism, on the Prismatic World Tour (which kicks off in London in May). Obviously, our response was: MEOW! Also, YAY! The release of Perry's fourth studio album has ushered in a new era of style for the chameleonic singer, who's long been a courageous pioneer of rainbow-colored hair and exaggerated sartorial statements.
Since she first started promoting Prism a few months ago, Katy's typically been rotating three thematic looks: 1.) Tiger Style—which reflects "Roar," her first single off the new album and has been worn for several live performances of the song 2.) '90s Schoolgirl Steez—which is trending HARD right now and is usually rocked during non-performance appearances and 3.) "Perfectly Prismatic," the most literal interpretation of her album title—iridescent, mirrored, a Lisa Frank visual spectacular. So which look will she choose to sport on tour?

Katy Perry's 2013 MTV EMA performance of "Unconditionally" included two looks: human maypole and suit of mirrors. Katy kicked off the performance covered in strips of purple, blue, and pink cloth, which the dancers below her intertwined. The result was, essentially, a brightly colored cocoon. Katy then shed the cocoon to emerge as a mirror-encrusted butterfly, and once she was free of acting as the pole for the #latepass May Day celebrants below her, she began floating through Amsterdam's Ziggo Dome, reflecting light.
It's no secret that Katy Perry loves Halloween. She loves it almost as much as we do. Last year alone she wore a vampire costume and dressed as Jane Lane from Daria. (Way to make the rest of us look bad with our one costume, KP.) Katy loves Halloween so much she launched her own costume shop within her official merch store. There's a "Roar" music video costume and a "Roar" single Sukajan jacket that we're O-B-S-E-S-S-E-D with, but here at MTV Style we like to do things our own way, which is why we've assembled three Katy Perry costumes of our own.
QUEEN OF THE JUNGLE, 'ROAR' MUSIC VIDEO KATY PERRY
You're not stranded in the jungle like Katy Perry in her 'Roar' video but you can look like you are.

Katy sports several jungle-friendly looks in her "Roar" video (we broke down the entire thing here, BTW), but it's her final palm skirt, leopard print crop top, floral crown look that deserves recognition. The lady is adaptable: her plane crashed in the jungle and she looks like this! Since crop tops and floral headbands are so ~in~ right now, both can be found pretty easily in stores and online. The skirt, on the other hand, will require a bit of craftiness, but it'll all be worth it when you can say to people, "See this? I made it. I'm a regular ol' Martha Stewart over here." You'll need to cut the green table cloth into strips, tie each one around a ribbon, and then tie the ribbon around your waist. If Queen Katy can look like that in the jungle, you should be able to look even better: you have technology and scissors on your side!

Katy Perry on the cover of 'Billboard.'
Billboard just released the cover to their upcoming issue, and it features none other than Katy Perry! The cover is v. similar to the Prism cover art: soft lighting and flowers, which makes sense, because both covers were shot by Ryan McGinley. So, is the Billboard cover a BIG REVEAL of what Katy's wearing on the Prism cover, or did Katy and Ryan hit up two different flower fields on separate occasions? Katy's hair and makeup are similar (read: natural looking) on both covers, so it's totally plausible they were both shot in one go, which prooooobably means *BIG REVEAL* Katy is wearing clothes on the Prism cover!
Katy Perry on Good Morning America.

OMG, more Katy Perry news, y'all. The Katy Perry promo train is one that makes infrequent stops: time to get on board. Katy was on Good Morning America this AM to promote "Roar" and her upcoming release, Prism. Continuing her theme of dressing in florals, Katy was decked out in a tight green dress with daisies printed all over it. She grunged the dress up with black knee socks and shiny maroon Doc Martens. Her hair, which is currently black, was up in very Heidi-chic milkmaid braids; she accessorized very simply with large gold hoops, though they're def not as large as BFF Rihanna's. They're, like, 1/8th the size of Rihanna's.
