Along with a GRIP of other big name musicians and Hollywood heavyweights, Kanye West hit the Madison Square Garden stage last night for "12-12-12: The Concert for Sandy Relief." Yeezy represented for hip hop with a 12-song set, starting with "Clique" and following up with one crowd-pleaser after another including "Gold Digger," "All of the Lights," and "Jesus Walks." It wasn't Ye's impenetrable commitment to performance that had everyone talking, though, so much as his performance ensemble. He wore a leather pleated Givenchy skirt over leather leggings, and while Kanye wearing a skirt, of leather or not, isn't that new of a thing for us here at MTV Style, it certainly raised some eyebrows among the 12-12-12 Concert audience.

Early this month, Chicago's RSVP Gallery launched their hotly anticipated collaboration with one of the rap game's brightest young rookies, A$AP Rocky. The R$VPA$AP capsule collection consists of tees, tanks, and accessories and is slowly starting to trickle onto RSVP's ecommerce site. The range of streetwear follows a spring-ready black-and-mint color palette featuring elements of bandana paisley and varsity details throughout.

Who said fashion was a lady-exclusive space? I know we've been focusing on the sartorial adventures of those VMA attendees of the fairer sex, but we're down to recognize that dudes didn't just bring it, they unloaded it and merchandised it in perfectly parallel three-finger-spaced rows on the table. So much so they're even dictating TRENDS. Yea, you heard me (or read me, you get the point). A hearty standing O began at first sight of those leopard skinnies and has continued into the afternoon here at MTV Style for the collective exemplary display of animal print made by Justin Bieber, dad-to-be Jay-Z, and Lil Wayne.

How bonkers is the "Otis" video? Could Jay-Z and Kanye West appear to be having more fun? The gorgeous sky, the saturated Old Glory backdrop, the overhauled Maybach, the leggy models, the Balmain—EVERY frame seizes you by the guts and BREAKS YOUR FACE with jaw-clenching envy because there is just so much to want. Namely, hi, um, Jay-Z, sir, are you wearing a python overlain, lambskin Yankees snapback with a GOLD buckle?
We, like anyone who feeds and eats the internet all day long, know that the limited-edition $400 JUST DON x Mitchell & Ness hats sold out instantly since Monday's on-sale date, but we talked to Kanye West cohort, G.O.O.D. music A&R, founder of the boutique R.S.V.P. Gallery, and the brains behind the eponymous JUST DON, Don C, to get all the deets on Jay's hat and even discovered when they'll next be made available (!!!!).
