The 2013 Movie Awards show has officially started, but we're still busy breaking down getting ALL the fashion details behind some of our favorite MTV stars' red carpet outfits. The Jersey Shore crew certainly wasn't short on (style) drama—ladies Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola, Jenni "JWOWW" Farley went all-out glam in glitzy gowns, while the guys Vinny Guadagnino, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro opted for some classicly-cool black and grey duds.

Whew! It's officially time to start bundlin' up out there—Christmas music is in the air, and it's only a matter of time before you're surrounded by snow and SOOO cold that you're left with no choice but to sport that ugly winter puffy jacket (AGAIN) just to make it five blocks without getting frostbite. Luckily, there are ways to still look 'dorbs on even the coldest of cold days—with a cute, warm winter hat! We spotted three girls who wore head toppers in the most cop-worthy of ways, and we can't WAIT to tell you more about their stylishly warm ensembles. So let's go!

If the 2011 Video Music Awards are going to be ANYTHING like this Britney Spears' VMA promo, it's going to be fun-filled party with amazing music, insane dancing, and INCREDIBLE fashion. We noticed a RIDIC amount of spikes, studs, and leather so we had to get in touch with Brit Brit's stylist immediately to give us the nitty-gritty deets of her ensemble. Enter: Leila Baboi. She helped pick all the pieces for Ms. Spears' wardrobe, and she told us every last detail. Britney sported a torn vintage Helmut Lang tee over an Elkin top paired with shredded and cropped Levi shorts. She threw on a white studded Olima Atelier STATEMENT leather jacket and spiked Sam Edelman shoes with Alexander Wang quilted, leather spats over the top for a touch of edginess. Check out some of other the highlights below.
WHOA! Guys! Just two weeks stand between us and the 2011 MTV Movie Awards, which means we only have a fortnight to keep bringing you all the Movie Awards fashion goodness we have to give. We kicked off our coverage with the most-memorable style moments of this year's Best Female and Male Performance nominees and began offering up a series of Polyvore oblations in honor of the movies that are up for a lot of golden popcorn this year—starting off with Easy A and Black Swan. This installment focuses on this SIX-TIME nominated movie, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1'. And don't forget that you can watch clips and vote for your favorite performances here!
A 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1'-Inspired Polyvore Set
Unless you live under a huge slab of granite where not even the smallest sliver of light or the tiniest whisper can reach you and you've been rotting there for the past, ohhhh I don't know, DECADE, you know who Harry Potter is and you have a pretty general idea of what the series (book or movie) is all about. You've also undoubtedly seen and quoted 'Potter Puppet Pals: The Mysterious Ticking Noise,' which the post could have still made sense without, but would definitely not be as fun (WARNING: Do not watch if you/those around you are easily annoyed by repetition). Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 is the film adaptation of the first half of the seventh and final book of J. K. Rowling's series, and since the boy and his story are so super famous to the point where the two are engrained in our culture to very near the point of animal instinct, there's no point in summarizing here, so I'll just jump right into the pretty Polyvore FASHUNZ!
In honor of Gryffindor, the House of our three protagonists, we've featured a wine-colored rugby stripe Warehouse dress and vintage rhinestone-covered lion crossbody. The Elder Wand is represented by a JLRicci twig necklace, He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named (Or-Typed-By-Superstitious-Editorial-Assistants-With-Over-Active-Imaginations) takes the shape of spike-encrusted snake skin Sam Edelman pumps, and Harry himself appears as a dark blue sequined bodycon with a mesh lightning bolt detail. Add a little black magic in the form of Magie Noire by Lancome and a bit of Laura Gellar eye shadow in a black and white pearled "Potion." And top it all off with some Harry Potter franchise merchandise: a pair of golden snitch earrings, spectrespecs, and a cassette recording of "Accio Deathly Hallows."

Leather pants aren't just for rock stars. After surfing the style blogs for inspiration, we came across three lovely ladies who really rock their leggings sans an entourage or tour dates—Rachel Hall of Studio Swag, Suzy Pilaczynski of Beneath the Glass, and Jennie Lodge of Going West. Here's how these bloggers personalize their confident leather looks.

We love the contrasting look of Rachel from Louisiana's super sleek outfit. Her jet black leggings from Topshop are more like a second skin, oozing sex appeal, especially when paired with thigh-high stilettos. But Rachel's look doesn't have to be confined to a nightclub; she makes it daytime appropriate by topping it with a black Urban Outfitters tee and a slouchy sweater, also from Topshop. We also like how she kept her hair and makeup simple, accessorizing only with a turquoise pendant for a pop of color.

First of all, Suzy just had a baby, y'all. How hot is she?? Which makes her choice to wear leather leggings that much more amazing. Suzy, who calls Cali home, wears a flowing asymmetrical printed cardi layered with a loose top that looks soft and lovely next to dramatic skintight leggings. Her wrap platform sandals complete the rocker-chick feel. Posing on the bed of a pickup truck is just the icing on this very fierce cake.
Jennie Lodge of Going West

It's OK that the sun is shielding most of California girl Jennie's face—we're too busy checking out her supercute ensemble to get too upset. We love how she meshes preppy professional (a MinkPink button-down layered under a Zara sweater and Juicy Couture blazer) with badass rocker-esque (Aritzia leather leggings and Sam Edelman booties). It's a surprising and complementary combo that totally works and appeals to two very different genres of style.

That's why we trolled the style blogs for some inspiration on how to wear this skirt. Liana Brooke of Fashion Bag 411, Aisa Ipac of Drowning Equilibriums and Rachael LaRoche of Ordinarily Urbane all showed off their floor-length skirts in different ways, making them our top style bloggers of the week. Emma Stone in Stella McCartney. From top: Sam Edelman, Michael Kors, and Dolce Vita.
Actress Emma Stone wore a pair of beige suede pumps by Stella McCartney to the Los Angeles premiere of her new movie Easy A. The shoes were sleek and had zipper detailing in the back. Want zippers on your feet like Emma Stone? So do we! Michael Kors' Parker wedge pumps ($149.95, nordstroms.com) have a zipper up the front and they aren't stilettos, which is nice. For a black suede style, check out Sam Edelman’s Quebec pump, ($99.99, dillards.com), a Balmain-inspired bootie that’s under $100. And if you’re a leather lover whose looking to splurge, try Dolce Vita’s Lana sandal ($259.95, endless.com), which kind of resembles a leather jacket for your feet.
