The Neon Lights Tour just got cray—Demi Lovato buzzed off some of her hair, y'all. Demi has always played around with her hair, from bright blue to bright pink tresses and, like, everything in between, so we're used to seeing Demi with a new 'do on a pretty frequent basis. What we weren't expecting, though, was for her next hair move to be sheering it off. And it's not just a tiny part above her ear—it's a CHUNK, and it's cut very close.
A still from A$AP Rocky's "Wild For The Night" music video.

As purveyors of all things that intersect music and style, a brand new A$AP Rocky music video is a major event right here at MTV Style Headquarters. It's not just because we all agree that dude is mad handsome with excellent bone structure and the kind of killer smile that only comes with warding off coffee for life, BUT ALSO because you can almost always be sure that a new video from this Harlem MC will yield a stacked lineup of ensembles and that it'll be BEGGING to be broken down look by look. "Wild For The Night" features Rocky and Skrillex (and A$AP Ferg, A$AP Yams, and even a little A$AP Lou moment) on location in the Dominican Republic. From the cameos to the exotic locale, the short doesn't disappoint in any department, especially not style. The video wardrobe runs the gamut from high fashion to streetwear (and in this case, a whole lot of a throwback collaboration that bridges them both). Thus, the little run-down we're kicking off right now. Peep all 7 (yes, 7!) looks PLUS A$AP Rocky's brand new music video for "Wild For The Night" featuring Skrillex after the jump!

OK, so we already know there are about a zillion and one reasons out there to love Skrillex. His addictive dark, throbbing music (which we can soon hear in Spring Breakers, ahhh!). That signature half-shaved 'do, which has inspired an entire celeb fan following AND has even garnered its own name and hashtag, #Skrillexhair. His sleek, all-black personal style. While all of these traits are impressive, it's this undeniable steez that fits most perfectly with the artist's new gig, collaborating with denim giant G-Star. But while the producer has mostly stuck with scoring the brand's videos until now, we just got word that now he's dipping his hands into the design side of the biz with a brand new style of jeans. Get the scoop below!
Cassie, Ke$ha and Rihanna all sport the Skrillex look.

The last time we spotted Avril Lavigne, she was sporting some seriously dark (see: black) bangs with her blonde hair, but Monday night she debuted an even MORE shocking 'do while in Paris—a half shaved head! We barely recognized the punk rock princess with her new Skrillex-inspired hair because she snipped a large portion off the side of her head. Her dirty blonde strands were tossed over the top of her head to show off her sharp cheek bones and black cat eye liner. She definitely exudes a "don't-mess-with-me" vibe thanks to her freshly cut locks, but we definitely think she looks more age appropriate. In fact, the more we stare at her, the more we're beginning to fall in love with her new look. I mean, who KNEW that gorge bone structure was hiding under there? Iiiinnnteresting! Now she officially joins the ranks of other buzzed-haired beauties including Cassie, Ke$ha, and Rihanna, who all sport a similar 'do. But tell us—do you like Avril's new buzzed head? Leave a comment!

Rihanna debuts new hair at "Battleship" press conference in Japan.

Hold the phone, y'all. Can you even remember the last time you saw Rihanna in the wild with BLACK hair? We got a taste of the throwback hair color with that "gangsta goth geisha" look she sported for the "Princess of China" video, but she's been rocking these platinum locks for the past two months, preceded by five months of light brown curliques, and of course, that unforgettable era of RED. Well, today, at a press conference in Japan for her upcoming movie Battleship, Ri debuted new hair that isn't just different in color but also cut! YOU GUYZZZ, Rihanna has Skrillex hair!
Nicki Minaj and deadmau5 pull red carpet fashion antics at the 2012 Grammys.

Unlike the other major red carpets of awards show season, the Grammys cultivate an atmosphere that almost invites its attendees to create a little more of a scene, to get a little more outrageous. [Insert jazz hands.] While there was nothing quite like Lady Gaga's egg entrance at last year's show, Nicki Minaj and deadmau5 made splashes of their own on this year's step and repeat. Whether you loved or loathed their sartorial choices, you can't help but admit you felt some kinda feelings about both of these button-pushing ensembles.

Any time you make ANY sort of unprovoked religious reference, you're strapping yourself into a speeding train headed straight for guaranteed wave-making and feather-ruffling (*COUGH*"Alejandro" video*COUGH*). Not that those are necessarily new things to Miss Nicki Minaj, mastermind behind "Stupid Hoe" and that 2011 VMA Candy Raver outfit. The MC graced the red carpet in a one-of-a-kind scarlet satin Versace robe. Emblazoned with the label's signature Medusa head across the skirt and worn with matching short sequin-embellished gloves, Nicki appeared to be giving a "Little Red Riding Hood" homage when spotted alone. And then she was joined by her escort: a Pope look-alike. Afagdfakjgkl WHAT??!? Immediately, the black trim mutates into a rosary bead reference and Nicki into a Roman cardinal. We have no idea what kind of statement she's making with this move, but she sure made one. Though, granted, if Donatella Versace showed up on our doorstep with a custom made ANYTHING for us, we'd have a pretty difficult time turning it down.
Diplo, Skrillex, and A-Trak on the cover of 'Billboard' magazine.

Electronic dance music gods Diplo, Skrillex, and A-Trak cover the latest issue of Billboard magazine, and, well, we're a little swoony. First of all, we're super into the fact that electronic music is having its fair share of attention these days, and that it has been catapulted to the forefront of popular music again thanks to pioneering DJs and producers like these fine fellows. At a time when the way we discover music—let alone the way artists release it—is forever changing, it's refreshing to see what was often considered a subculture scene find its way to the more mainstream. Also, these three gentlemen have several Grammy Award nominations between them. Oh, and they're seriously stylin'. Let's break down this mega blazer-slash-varsity-jacket-slash-scarf action bizness because, BOY, are we're feeling it.
