Happy Monday, everyone! And no, we're not even being sarcastic. In fact, we're still coasting off our Bling Ring high from over the weekend, and hopefully you are, too, since Sofia Coppola's Hollywood heist flick finally saw its New York/Los Angeles release on Friday! We've been ALL over this movie (much like Emma Watson & co. were all over Paris Hilton's shoe closet, heh) ever since we first got wind of the early production stills about a year ago. Now, the promo has officially come full circle, thanks to VFiles and its new Bling Ring capsule. The e-tailer/video company/all-around creative hub has just debuted a collection of products inspired by the movie. Stocked with jersey short shorts, patterned nail wraps, and Ring Pops, this set (which is packaged like a police evidence bag) pretty much covers all the bases.

From the moment we set eyes on the very first production still released to the media, we've been holding our breath for the official stateside release of Sofia Coppola's newest film The Bling Ring. We've been following along from teaser to trailer, poster to interview, and all of Emma Watson's editorial spreads, and now, with last night's Los Angeles premiere, we're that much closer to being able to watch the movie whenever and as many times as we want! Emma and her co-stars Taissa Farminga, Israel Broussard, Katie Chang, and Claire Julien, all turned up their style game for the event, each cast member's red carpet ensemble more high fashion that then next.

The Bling Ring Trailer

A still from The Bling Ring trailer.
Photo: Yahoo Movies

It seems pretty fair to say that at some point or another nearly everyone has entertained fantasies of being famous, or, as Israel Broussard's character Marc puts it in the new trailer for The Bling Ring, of "living the lifestyle" of young Hollywood. The clothes, the parties, the supposed freedom of having unlimited wealth and access... it's all extremely appealing, especially when you're a bored high school kid without much more to do than drive around with your friends. In the new trailer, we get to see more of the film than we have before, and to hear some of the dialogue. We also get a look into Paris Hilton's epic shoe closet, and which is like a Manolo enthusiasts heaven. The film is a slick, stylish portrayal of a group of kids who have no idea what's going on in the world, and just want in on something that in reality doesn't exist. With cameos from Paris herself and Kirsten Dunst, it's also clear that director Sofia Coppola pulled out all the stops to make the film as realistic as possible, and that makes us all the more excited to see it come June.

OK, so this is pretty much the best morning ever... and we're not just saying that because it's Friday (although that's awesome, too). We're exploding with excitement because we've got a double dose of The Bling Ring action coming straight to you, all within the next 12 hours! Hopefully you're already WELL AWARE that we're debuting an exclusive clip and chatting with the film's stars Emma Watson, Katie Chang, Israel Broussard, Taissa Farmiga and Claire Julien at 11 PM EST tonight as the final MTV Movie Awards Sneak Peek Week show on So grab your friends, stock up on popcorn, and make room on the couch, because that's going down later, but first, peep the poster for The Bling Ring right here! The brand spanking new teaser image just landed, and it's throwing some MAJOR shade. Five different kinds of shade, in fact, one for each member of the infamous sticky-fingered crew.

Emma Watson and her castmates shooting The Bling Ring.

Emma Watson makes an excellent ringleader. I don't know about in real life, but in the movies at least, our girl Emma excels at playing characters with that electric combination of gumption and sweetness that makes her both the best friend and the girl everyone falls in love with. This seems to be the case for her character in the Sofia Coppola-directed Hollywood heist movie The Bling Ring, which comes out June 14th, although we suspect she might be coming up a touch short with regards to the sweetness part. In the film, Emma plays the ringleader of a group of teenagers who are running around the more tony parts of Los Angeles ransacking celebrities homes, like adolescent cat burglars caught on high-end security cameras. This might sound a lot like another teens-turned-to-crime film that's been on our minds lately, but unlike that other movie, The Bling Ring is based on a true story, and one that happened not too long ago. In the teaser, which opens with one of the girls smilingly suggesting, "let's go shopping," shows the kids pillaging a fancy closet of its coats, jewels, and lacy underthings, and then going on to do all kinds of wreckless bad kid stuff, from dirty dancing in the club to wearing sunglasses inside. There's also the suggestion of some REALLY bad stuff, with guns and tears and police, but the trailer doesn't give much away. Don't take our word for it, though, watch after the jump!

Vfiles x-girl

Tavi Gevinson models the new VFiles "X-Girl" Collection.
Photo: Via VFiles Instagram/

WHOA, HOLD UP...our brains just exploded from the amazing fashion flashback happening here right now. Yesterday we were just innocently cruising VFiles, looking for our Next Big Thing fix that WASN'T a fashion tee, sporty spandex, or a Hood By Air tank, and look what we found: an entire collection of goods inspired by X-Girl! If you know your House of Style stuff (and why wouldn't you?!), then you know that X-Girl was a '90s streetwear brand co-founded by Sonic Youth frontwoman Kim Gordon and her friend Daisy von Furth. As the sister store of NYC's X-Large, X-Girl made major waves in 1994 for its Sofia Coppola-produced guerrilla fashion show and have inspired us (and emerging designers) ever since. So when it comes to these old-meets-new styles of t-shirts, key chains, and backpacks, who better to model the VFiles X-Girl collection than THE reigning teenage queen of '90s nostalgia herself, Tavi Gevinson?

We've seen A LOT of red carpets, but it's been a while since we've seen one quite like the one at the Hollywood premiere of Somewhere, the Sofia Coppola-directed drama that stars Elle Fanning. Nearly every celebrity in attendance—from Transformers' Isabel Lucas to The Office's Ellie Kemper—was dressed to the nines. And, we're not talking standard black cocktail dress-dressed to the nines (that can get kind of boring, ya know?). We're talking colorful jumpsuits, wild accessories and braided updos—looks with some flavor. Here are our favorites from the evening...

Elle Fanning
Photo: Getty Images

In a black Valentino shift, 12-year-old Elle Fanning had some big-bow action going on at the waist. We adore her braided crown and sparkly flats with (yep!) more bows.

Erin Wasson

Many of the critics aren't feeling model Erin Wasson's burnt orange and turquoise Louis Vuitton jumpsuit, but we LOVE it...on her. Sure, on someone else this getup could look like a cute pajama set, but on Erin (who's got the attitude to pull it off) it's completely chic.

Sofia Coppola

Sofia Coppola sparkled in a Louis Vuitton black sequin dress, which she teamed with LV wedges and an LV clutch.

Isabel Lucas

Actress Isabel Lucas looked stunning in a lacy black top, long violet skirt, and strappy sandals. We love that she pulled her hair off of her face to highlight the ensembles intricacies.

Chloë Sevigny
Photo: Getty Images

Chloë Sevigny looked pretty in a double-breasted plaid dress. The earth-toned tartan's playful purple stripes looked oh so cute!

Mena Suvari
Photo: Getty Images

Never underestimate the power of accessories. An oversize $550 leopard-print clutch by Kelly Locke takes Mena Suvari's all-black ensemble from good to GREAT.

Ellie Kemper

Ellie Kemper looked like fashion-perfection in her ready-to-wear dark navy dress, which she paired with a black clutch, black cocktail ring and nude pumps.

The Venice Film Festival always brings out the most glamorous of gowns, and this year's festival — number 67!!! — was no different. It just wrapped up last week, so we've sorted through all of the gorgeous gowns and narrowed them down to our top six favorite looks. Here they are ...

Jessica Alba and Natalie Portman.
Photo: Getty Images

1. Jessica Alba in Valentino
Jessica Alba turned heads with a stunning black Valentino dress at the Machete premiere. Its super-short front and cascading train looked gorgeous. In a smart move, she kept accessories simple with black lace-up Salvatore Ferragamo sandals and hoop earrings.

2. Natalie Portman in Rodarte
Natalie Portman opted for a bolder hue, wearing a red dress at the premiere of her upcoming film, Black Swan. We can’t help but wonder if her decision to wear this beautiful beaded Rodarte had anything to do with the Rodarte sisters designing some of the film’s fabulous costumes.

Elle Fanning and Sofia Coppola.

3. Elle Fanning in Marc Jacobs
The lovely ladies of the new movie Somewhere did their best to represent Marc Jacobs. The film's star, Elle Fanning (Dakota Fanning’s little sis), wore a blue pastel appliqué dress from the designer’s Resort 2011 collection with a pair of Mary-Janes.

4. Sofia Coppola in Louis Vuitton
While the Somewhere star wore Marc Jacobs, so did the film's director, Sofia Coppola, only in Louis Vuitton form (Marc Jacobs designs the LV label, too!). She chose a black dress designed by the designer (who happens to be a long time friend, lucky girl!), from his Louis Vuitton Resort 2011 line.

Michelle Williams and Paz Vega.

5. Michelle Williams in Jason Wu
As for our favorite beige dress, Michelle Williams's Jason Wu gown definitely stood out at the premiere of her new movie, Meek's Cutoff. From Michelle’s sideswiped bangs to the pretty bow detailing on her dress, this super feminine style really worked.

6. Paz Vega in Gucci
Paz Vega’s cowl neck number by Gucci was our favorite metallic look, a gown she wore to the premiere of her new film, Vallanzasca - Gli Angeli del Male. Also, the way she styled it — with sleek, straight hair and a single gold bangle bracelet — pulled the look together so it was fancy, but not overdone.

+ Which dress did you like best?
