Best Coast and Wavves cuddle up on the cover of Spin.

Is there anything better than a summer romance? Weekend beach trips, laying in the sand giggling over popsicles, holding hands in the waves, riding bikes around the city at night...oh wait, what was I saying? But seriously, summer love is awesome, and judging from the amount of picnic blanket canoodling we saw in the park this weekend, the season is ON. Of course who better to represent warm weather happiness than our favorite California power couple, Best Coast's Bethany Cosentino and Wavves' Nathan Williams? The two lovebirds are gracing the cover of Spin's July/August "Go Outside" Issue, and not only are they totally adorable, but they have killer style to match. The spread, which captures the real-life couple hiking one of their hometown of Los Angeles' many canyons, was photographed by Dan Martensen. When we say hiking, though, we don't really mean hiking. No short shorts and clunky boots for these two- Beth and Nate take to the hills in far more fabulous and flirty garb, and not only can you drool over it, but we have some pieces that you can actually buy to have it for yourself. An outfit to wear on your next outdoorsy date, sure to make the mercury rise even higher? Yes, please.

Santi White a.k.a. Santigold's debut album Santogold caught huge buzz when it came out in 2008, positioning the pop singer/producer as a major music industry player to watch. Close to four years later, we finally have the follow up to her OG smash record with Master of My Make-Believe, and along with being revered as a bonafide music heavyweight, Santi is burgeoning as a style icon. Never has that been more clear than in this crisp colorful spread courtesy of SPIN magazine.

Ke$ha dished out her top fashion favorites to Her favorite store? West Coast thrift shop Out of the Closet. Favorite piece of clothing? A vintage Guns N’ Roses tee. Favorite items on tour? Blue lipstick. Oh, and of course glitter! {Spin}

Topshop offered Courtney Love a chance to design a collection for the London fashion chain, but Courtney refused saying she didn’t want her line "in the basement in Topshop on Oxford Circus." She’d rather have her collection appear in Browns or Selfridges. OK, relax C. Love. {Elle}

Kate Middleton's selling power is skyrocketing compared with Michelle Obama's. While both ladies are known for mixing high and low items, Kate increased Reiss' site traffic 500 percent after she was spotted in their bandage dress, and after Michelle wore head-to-toe J. Crew on The Tonight Show, the site traffic increased only 64 percent. Hmmm... math. {Fashionista}

• CFDA Lifetime Achievement award honoree Marc Jacobs reveals that his 1993 grunge collection was the most liberating of his life because it was "about a dismissal of everything that one was told was beautiful, correct, glamorous, sexy." (Ed note: And everyone who is old enough to remember all his GLORIOUS work immediately after his Perry Ellis tenure concurs heartily with maybe a tear in each eye.) {Telegraph}

Lady Gaga's Polaroid collection FINALLY debuts. The portable printer creates snapshots from any cellular phone, so you can document your daily outfits in a snap. {Oh No They Didn't!}

"People think pop is rock, and the lines are getting blurred. Now Rihanna's wearing f------ leather jackets, and it's really annoying."Taylor Momsen on the improper use of the word "rock" in the new September issue of SPIN magazine. A diva battle is on! Can't we all just wear our leather jackets in peace?

Zoe Kravitz, the 21-year-old actress, singer, and spawn of Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet, has amazing It-girl style. Her outfits have this too-cool-for-school-but-not-the-mean-girl look to them, like what she wore to a party on Monday night celebrating Spin magazine's 25th anniversary. It's almost like she's saying "I don't care what you think, I'm with the band," with her outfit. Her trick has to be her masterful way with accessories. She turned a wacky skirt (let's face it, if we saw it in a store we'd walk right by) into a great look by mixing prints (stripes with a leopard-print bucket bag, which is one of our FAVORITES of the season by Alexander Wang), stacking little bracelets up her arm, and topping it off with a hat. To anyone who thinks fedoras are overplayed, just LOOK at this photo, and stand corrected.

Want to try Zoe's "I'm a VIP" look? Snag a similar boho-style miniskirt from Target for just $10.40, and pair it with a layered black tissue tank from Old Navy ($8.50). Scuff up these studded flat ankle boots from Forever 21 ($27.80) to give them that vintagey, kicked-around look, and top off the outfit with this short-brimmed fedora from Urban Outfitters ($28). Finally, sling on this leopard shoulder bag from Anne Klein ($62.99). As for the VIP pass, find a color printer and a good laminator. Kidding! MTV can't condone fake passes. Come on now.
