Along with being in great company on seriously major list and honoring title holders with a bundle of high profile essays, TIME's 100 Most Influential People in the World are also celebrated with a swanky New York gala. More than likely there's a performer or two on the list, like Rihanna and Adele this year, which makes providing entertainment and speech-givers a little bit easier. Thus, Ri both attended the TIME 100 Gala and performed at it, allowing for *drumroll* a wardrobe change. YAY!!!

Rihanna has been honored in the company of a list of major heavy-weights for TIME's 100 Most Influential People in the World. Surrounded by the likes of Tim Tebow, Kristen Wiig, and Pete Cashmore among many MANY more makes for some preeeetty excellent company, not to mention her featured essay is written by friend and fashion designer Stella McCartney. Of RiRi, McCartney says, "She's one of the coolest, hottest, most talented, most liked, most listened to, most followed, most impressive artists at work today, but she does it in her own stride. She works hard, very hard. She gives to her fans, friends and foundation not just herself but her energy and spirit." It's no wonder she has not only colossal musical success, but also has brands knocking down her door to front their campaigns. I mean, the girl has the power to boost clothing sales with a single television appearance, who knows what's in store for that upcoming fashion line.

I love these two as a couple. What a festive way to celebrate two important events in their life. Mariah looks like a dream.
