There was simply no way Beyonce's costumes for the On the Run tour would be anything less than flawless, but somehow they're shaping up to be even more impressive than we were expecting.

To whip up performance looks fit for a queen, she enlisted a bunch of her favorite designers. Last week, we learned that Michael Costello made a black lace bodysuit for the tour. Now, Bey is spilling the deets on that leather Alexander Wang bodysuit.

Crazy in love, y'all.

When we first saw the spectacular lineup for Beyonce and Jay Z's On the Run wardrobe, we just had one question: Where's the Givenchy? Thankfully, it only took 12 hours for fashion house head Riccardo Tisci to answer that question with a few Instagrams. The couple's BFF and frequent collaborator—see also: Watch the Throne artwork, and Beyonce's tour wardrobe and Met Gala dresses from the past couple of years—is responsible for at least two creations on this tour.

The black and white American flag dress Beyonce wears is one of Tisci's designs. TBH, I never considered the possibility that our country's flag could make for such a stunning bustle but leave it to Bey and T. to pull off the seemingly impossible. But also, Beyonce can literally make wallpaper look good.

Miley Cyrus

Flowers + metallics = #cyberhippies.
Photo: @mileycyrus Instagram

For a while there it felt like Miley Cyrus was debuting new outfits at every performance. There were the seven new ones when she took the Bangerz Tour to Europe, and even after that, there was a custom Kenzo leotard, tinsel, and new add-ons like face paint. It seemed like Miles slowed her roll, but over the weekend, she broke out a new metallic outfit laced with neon flowers for the Capital Summertime Ball in London.

It's definitely worth noting that she ALSO resurrected a trend I hoped I'd never see again—moon boots. I will admit, though, they look much cuter with floral appliqués. While Miley wore full-coverage pieces, her backup dancers wore disco ball-esque mirrored pasties and jorts. If you're wondering what to call this look, Miley appears to have given it a name via Instagram: #cyberhippies.

Just when we were getting used to all the new pieces in Miley Cyrus' Bangerz Tour wardrobe, she goes and adds a new look. Miley posted photos on Instagram (while on stage, natch) wearing a monochrome eye print. We immediately recognized the print as Kenzo—though the eyes on Miley's pieces have much lusher lashes than those on the Fall 2013 collection—but we couldn't figure out from the picture what the eyes were printed on. And then it hit us: They're custom.

We've been anticipating Katy Perry's Prismatic World Tour since November. Half a year, you guys. Last night, it finally kicked off in Belfast, and it looks incredible. Where else are you going to see five humans dressed as cats on one stage? Cats isn't on Broadway anymore, sorry. While we thought we had a good idea of what to expect from all the previews Katy has been sharing throughout the past week and a half, seeing what the sketches actually look like IRL is an entirely different story. Oh, also, there were a few looks we didn't know were coming.

One of the few outfits we weren't expecting was this "Roar"-inspired ~lewk~. While in the video, Katy fashioned a regal wardrobe from things she found in the jungle. This outfit features plastic leaves and neon thigh-highs, two things you cannot find in the wilderness.

Little mix

Little Mix's Salute Tour kicks off in the UK next week and the girls have suggested that everyone come dressed as a "Salute Warrior." They're not the first musicians to request their audiences wear similar things–Lady Gaga had her swine-fest dress code–but Little Mix may be the first to actually compile inspirational images on a Pinterest board.

The band shared their outfits from their "Salute" video as inspiration–seeing them on hangers underscores how much leather and metal are involved in the looks. The group also pinned some unrelated looks that they deemed appropriate for warriors. There's an elaborate mohawk braid, some armor from a runway show, and more. There are also some pop culture references like Xena: Warrior Princess and Wonder Woman. And unfortunately, there are also a number of pictures of feather headdresses, "warrior face paint," and "tribal" nail art, which is problematic.

She's baaaack! After taking a lengthy hiatus from her Bangerz Tour due to an infection, Miley Cyrus kicked things off again in London on Tuesday night. The month-long sick leave clearly worked, because girlfriend is even better and flashier than before—thanks in large part to some notable leotard additions to her onstage wardrobe.

This Blonds leotard is in a similar style as the other piece the duo designed for "Love Money Party" that she wore on the U.S. leg. Only, instead of a cannabis leaf print, this new number is covered with dollar bills that feature Miley's face instead of dead presidents. From the looks of it, each bill is worth $1,000,000,000 in Bangerz currency. If my math serves, that makes this the most expensive leotard/anything in the universe.

Katy Perry

Alexis Mabille's sketch for the Prismatic World Tour.

Tonight is the night! Finally, after a seven-month wait, Katy Perry’s Prismatic World Tour kicks off in Belfast, Ireland. Lucky for us, we already have a pretty good idea about the thing we’re most excited about seeing—her wardrobe, of course! Thanks to Katy’s Instagram countdown, we’ve seen previews of her outfits, created by pretty much every designer on the planet. Well, almost: Valentino, Roberto Cavalli, The Blonds, Moschino, Nicolas Jebran, Fausto Puglisi, Todd Thomas, Di$count Universe, and her personal stylist, Johnny Wujek, along with Marco Marco. We can now also add Alexis Mabille to the list.

The Parisian designer whipped up a very prismatic bodysuit for Katy that was made to be danced in. The sparkling number—which is at least the third bodysuit she’ll be wearing, after The Blonds’ cat-woman onesie and Di$count Universe’s “Birthday”-themed one—looks twirl-ready with its long fringe trim. The sketch reads "Live Work Finale," so we're expecting to see this bad boy at the end of the show.

We already had a feeling Katy Perry’s Prismatic World Tour wardrobe was going to be epic with her all-star lineup of designers like The Blonds, Di$count Universe, Valentino, and way more. But now we know it’s going to be epic, thanks to Katy’s most recent Instagram—her fave spot to preview all her tour outfits—featuring a larger-than-life yin-yang parachute skirt, designed by Johnny Wujek and Marco Marco.

As Little Monsters around the world are well aware, Lady Gaga kicked off her artRave tour in Fort Lauderdale last night. While she didn't preview her tour wardrobe like Katy Perry, Mother Monster always delivers when it comes to performance outfits, so we were expecting a lot and, unsurprisingly, she totally delivered. There were wigs, leotards, a few familiar outfits, and brand new ones we'd never seen before, so let's take a look. Now that you know what she's wearing, you can plan your artRave outfit accordingly.

There were multiple bejeweled leotards (a staple for any human's wardrobe, TBH), but this is the only one with a Jeff Koons-inspired reflecting ball floating in front of it. Unlike her ARTPOP album cover, where a lifelike sculpture was accessorized with nothing but the ball, on tour she's wearing a set of wings made from feathers.

One of the simpler looks is a matching crop top and pants made of black latex. She wears a green wig (which is very Katy Perry looking, IMHO) and, like, a Mardi Gras necklace made from marijuana leaves. Perhaps this is the outfit for "Mary Jane Holland?" After this outfit, Gaga strips topless ON STAGE and is assisted into the next ensemble by a fleet of stylists.
