ZOMG, y'all. Maybe it's just a product of the East Coast's patented humid heat. Maybe I'm just a weather wuss. But MAN, is it just me or is this one of the hottest summers in a minute?? IDK about you, but for me, nothing puts a damper on a cute outfit (literally and figuratively) quite like excessive sweating. Thankfully, though, sweltering heat is a great excuse to partake in one of my all-time favorite foods: ICE CREAM. Which brings us to this week's Food Friday shopping exercise. We've rounded up the best ice cream-themed clothes, accessories, and beauty items pon de web and wrapped them up in this here little internet package for your Friday shopping enjoyment. Enjoy!

In case you didn't hear us screaming it at the top of our lungs, SUMMER IS FINALLY HERE! Well, almost. While some of us might be having a little bit of a hard time acclimating to the heat (and how bad our hair looks in the humidity, yikes), there's no denying that life is better when you can throw your tights into storage and prance around in a floaty little dress. Memorial Day weekend marks the official start of summer Fridays, beach weekends, and general laid back-ess, and naturally you're going to want to dress thematically. What's our favorite long weekend tradition? BBQs, OBVIOUSLY! Hotdogs, hamburgers, lemonade, the taste of charcoal on our tongues? Heaven. The summer is full of opportunities for grilling, but there's something so special about the first time you break out the propane tank, you know? You've already got your BBQ-themed nail art on lock, so throw on your hamburger sneaks, get that hot dog dress out of storage and let's get cookin'!

With a day of sprinting to shows, frenzied photographers and flashbulbs - not to mention the fabulous clothes - under our belts, we're getting back in the hang of this little thing called Fashion Week again. As we dig our heels into the shows that lie ahead for the Fall 2013 season, it's nice to see that celebrities haven't missed a stride on the red carpet.

California label Wildfox Couture is a Young Hollywood wardrobe staple— stars like Vanessa Hudgens consider it their off-duty uniform— so when designer Kimberley Gordon decides to stage a runway show in downtown NYC, her famous fans follow. Proving that even (really cute, really comfy) t-shirts can still warrant a spot in Fashion Week, last night's The Great Gatsby- inspired presentation showcased Wildfox's comfy tops as well sequins, Americana shorts, and tops splashed with trademark Gatsby phrases like "It was just a dream," and "Daisy." While the models worked the goods (including a new collab with Michelle Siwy!) on the runway, attendees like Vanessa, Victoria Justice, and Ashlee Simpson rocked the collection off the catwalk. And all of this happened BEFORE New York band Chairlift ended the night with their Valentine's Day single, "I Belong In Your Arms."
Wildfox channels 'Clueless' for Spring 2013.
We love Wildfox Couture (duh). We love Clueless (even bigger duh). So when we heard firsthand a few months ago that the L.A. label, beloved by Beyonce and Katy alike, is taking cues from Amy Heckling's iconic '95 flick for its newest collection, we had a really, really tough time keeping this a secret. Luckily the cat's out of the bag, since the Wildfox girls have just unveiled the "Kids In America" Spring 2013 lookbook! And spoiler alert- it's cute. With Cher, Dionne, and yes, even Tai as muses, how could it not be? Seriously, just LOOK at the spot on re-enactment above. The '90s are back, people! But instead of Alaia, this time around it's all about Wildfox.

The Wildfox Couture world goes a little something like this: super cute t-shirts, dresses, and oversized sweaters set in a land of sunshine, pop culture, and an unlimited closet. Throw in some '90s grunge and Romeo and Juliet lines and there's pretty much NOWHERE else we'd rather be. Clearly we're not the only ones in love, since the L.A. brand has become an unofficial Young Hollywood uniform since the label first burst upon the scene in 2007. So what's the secret? According to founder and designer Kimberley Gordon, their recipe for success involves pop culture references, perpetual California dreaming....and a little help from their friends, Lindsay, Demi, and Beyonce (no last names necessary). Get the lowdown from Kim herself below!
We're pretty sure no one has ever accused Beyonce of slacking on her style, even when she's off-duty. From her vintage early-aughts billiards steez to her effortless tropical getaway outfits, Queen Bey brings it HARD sartorially on and off the clock. The latest evidence of this is found in the droves of Texas road trip pics she recently uploaded to her Tumblr, and being the benevolent Style blog that we are, we're showing you how to cop Beyonce's punchy boho-meets-Southwest look for yourself! You can start by replicating this entire outfit with this oversized "Property of Texas" shirt by Wildfox Couture ($53.90), a pair of black leather (or vegan leather!) shorts, these jaw-droppingly affordable Big Buddha patterned and fringed knee-high boots from Endless ($89.95).
Katy Perry's 3D film extravaganza Part Of Me hits theaters this Fourth of July weekend (July 5 to be exact), so as is customary for Miss Perry (she can never get enough of a theme), she and her team put together an appropriately festive promotional poster. There are two versions of the flyer (and you can vote for your favorite on Twitter!), but on both versions of this movie teaser, Katy wears head-to-toe Wildfox Couture - a slouchy "Born on the 4th of July" cropped sweater and pink-and-white printed "Bright Star" rodeo shorts. Set against a night sky of exploding fireworks, Katy looks sweet and summer-ready in this star spangled outfit.

You know those days when you wake up and you're all snotty-nosed, disgusting, and unshowered, yet you still have to get it together, go to work, and try to look cute? Well, we have a solution for how to look totally 'dorbs even when you're not feeling so hot. We've been following Beyoncé's street style like a hawk lately (well, honestly, we are kinda always pseudo-stalking her), and she's been rocking THE comfiest yet cutest ensembles as of late. In the past week alone, she has nailed three no-nonsense outfits that we can definitely take a cue from. On Oct. 24, she wore a super tight black tunic (baby bump!) paired with skinny black leggings and platform stiletto pumps. To add some color to her black basics, she threw on a sky blue rain coat, a loosely tied blue patterned scarf, and a touch of pink on her lips. Note her hair is pulled back into a simple pony, and her huge sunglasses make it easy for minimal makeup.

Vee Hudge has been snapped out-and-about displaying a number of trends lately. We see hats, burnished antique belt buckles, temporarily dyed hair, flared jeans, cropped pants, smallish shoulder bags with loooong straps, platform slingbacks AND anklet jewelry (and that's just three outfits!). The thing that we never fail to clock in her casual ensembles that tend to skew boho chic, is her appreciation for the classic T-shirt. From tucked in to midriff baring to giant metallic lettering, Vanessa never fails to clinch the perfect hot-girlfriend look with the versatile staple.
