Just two pals chillin'.

Earlier today, two of my best friends hung out without me. Um, hi, Emma and Jen, did you really think there'd be no pics of you two sitting front row at the Dior Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2014 show? I see that my potential seat was taken by Sidney Toledano, Christian Dior's CEO, but that doesn't lessen the sting. Imagine how cute this pic would look on our fridge. I would've Instagrammed it and it would've gotten a lot of likes because you're two of the biggest movie stars in the world with impeccable style, but now that opportunity has passed. R.I.P. what could've been.
You even matched in monochrome like we talked about. Don't mind me, I'll just be over here nowhere near Paris drying my tears.

When Jennifer Lawrence wore a Jason Wu dress to the X-Men: Days of Future Past world premiere, we were all pretty shocked. It was the first time we had seen her wear something other than Christian Dior on the red carpet in a reeeeeeally long time. J-Law must have felt the need to make up for lost time with the French fashion behemoth, because the actress wore four different Dior outfits IN ONE DAY at the Cannes Film Festival this past Saturday.

Back in November, Jennifer Lawrence was on a lot of red carpets. We got so used to seeing her every night in Dior and showcasing her new short 'do during The Hunger Games: Catching Fire promo tour that we practically forgot there was a time that she wore other designers and could put her hair in an updo. We were reminded over the weekend, however, when she wore a Jason Wu dress to the X-Men: Days of Future Past premiere and debuted her new bob.
Jennifer broke her Dior streak with a shimmery blue dress from Jason Wu's Fall 2014 collection. She kept the rest of her look simple, wearing no necklaces or bracelets, just a ring and earrings. If you're going to temporarily ditch the company you're the face of, this is the way to do it, right? This dress would be hard to pass up, TBH. Plus, it's vaguely reminiscent of Mystique, the character she plays in X-Men. If this is a subtle homage we see it and we like it, Jenn. Even bigger news than her fashion? Her new hair!
Jennifer Lawrence for 'Marie Claire.'

Just when we were getting excited about the increasingly warmer weather, Jennifer Lawrence goes and makes us wish it was still winter. The actress looks bright and summery on the June 2014 cover of Marie Claire, but the inside photos are a different story. She models a variety of outerwear options in the spread, which is totally unfair since we likely won't elect to steal her looks for another five months (once you lose the tights, you don't go back until fall, amirite?).
J-Law rocks two different knee-length coats in the mag—a preppy gray Céline and a BRIGHT pink Dior that would cost me about six months rent to buy. But I'm kind of obsessed with it, so I might consider becoming homeless for half a year.
Some things are just made to go together. Peanut butter and jelly. Salt and pepper (also, Salt-N-Pepa). Jeans and T-shirts. Jennifer Lawrence and Dior. As the current face of Miss Dior, J-Law has been wearing the designer almost exclusively as of late. For some, that might start to feel predictable, but somehow this pairing manages to make each outfit more refreshing than the last. Jennifer's red carpet appearances this year have pretty much felt like sitting front row at a Dior couture runway show—and we certainly aren't complaining.
We can't wait to see what Dior creation she might surprise us with at the 2014 Academy Awards, and you better believe we'll be here LIVE on Sunday night to relay the news. To prepare ourselves, we decided to take a look back at the star's relationship with the designer (spoiler alert: it's lasted longer than most Hollywood marriages).

You remember this one. The entire WORLD remembers this one. By now, Jennifer Lawrence's trip up the stairs at the 2013 Oscars is more famous than that year's actual winners. Adorable clumsiness aside, J-Law was simply stunning in the soft ballerina-pink Dior gown. It's a dress befit for a certifiable movie star.
Jennifer Lawrence on the cover of 'W.'

At this point in our lives, we're all used to seeing Jennifer Lawrence and her pixie on red carpets and making other assorted appearances. What we hadn't seen—until now—was the super-short chop on the cover of a magazine. Her InStyle cover hit newsstands right after the big snip, but the photo was taken when she still had her long bob (lob). The Movie Issue of W magazine was just released and Jennifer's cover is one of several featuring stars who are set to dominate awards season, like Amy Adams and Lupita Nyong'o.
The cover, which was shot by Juergen Teller, is a far cry from her feathery W debut, where she channeled Black Swan. While that shoot was visibly staged, this one looks like Juergen just shouted, "JENNIFER!" and then snapped her with a disposable camera. I doubt any of those things actually happened, but that's what it looks like: a picture you take of an unsuspecting friend using actual film, because you're sooo retro.
