If there's any pop star truly doing it ALL right now, it's Rihanna. There isn't a morning that goes by where she doesn't jump into our RSS feeds wearing something jaw-dropping all while buzzing around the planet making music, movies, and fashion happenings like it ain't no thang. Not only is she designing a fashion line, she's making her film debut in the upcoming sure-to-be-a-blockbuster Battleship. Oh, and did we mention that she's also doing a fashion reality show set in London? No wonder she's been spotted all over the damp gray streets of England's beloved city wearing a wardrobe of printacular madness. Seriously, though, what's with all these prints, Ri?
Even though she wore a somewhat subdued olive green dress to make a Taylor Kitsch and Brooklyn Decker cocktail dress sandwich at a Battleship photocall, she was all about the loud prints everywhere else. She left her hotel one day wearing a super deep-V cut Stella McCartney marble-printed dress which looked more like an oversized blazer. She paired it with brushed-out tendrils, strappy heels and sunnies and the whole effect was very swirly Vincent Van Gogh-esque. On another day she decided to take the tube to avoid traffic on her way to see Drake perform. (Hmmm, is there something going on here?) She was snapped walking into the Waterloo station wearing a flaming (literally) Maison Martin Margiela mini dress with thigh high boots and a leather bomber jacket, and we're preeeeetty sure she enflamed the shocked visages of many a London-town commuter on their way home from work. And, yet, on another day out on the town, she wore McCartney again, this time in the form of a gray and white printed silk top n' trousers combo giving a gentle nod to London native Florence Welch and her oft-discussed all-over print game... which makes us wonder, in a PRINT-OFF, who would win?!
