Ariana Grande has a busaaay week ahead of her. Her debut album, Yours Truly, dropped today and immediately went to #1 on iTunes. Then, she stopped by The Today Show and performed "The Way" with Mac Miller and "Tattooed Heart" surrounded by Arianators. And finally, tomorrow, she'll be helping kick off New York Fashion Week by performing at The 10th Annual Style Awards. Jeez, Ariana, it's the day after a long weekend: you're making the rest of us look bad.
Ariana will join the awards' host, Nicole Richie, and its honorees, including Zac Posen, Kate Upton, Frederic Fekkai, Rachel Zoe, Victoria's Secret, and more. Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, President and Executive Producer of the Style Awards explained, "We have truly merged the worlds of fashion and entertainment." Ariana is a living, breathing example of fashion and entertainment merged: she already has a signature 'do, can change her beauty game and still look like herself, and, oh, NBD, she can actually sing. Like, on The Today Show, where she was outside and surrounded by screaming fans, she took out her in-ears and never missed a beat. Even when a strange man, JK it was Mac Miller, ran on and off stage 100 times and tried to waltz with her, Ariana nailed it.
The Style Awards are tomorrow at NYC's Lincoln Center, but if you didn't cop an invite, you can watch the entire thing on September 14th at 7 p.m. EST on CNN. Will Ariana change up her look to impress all the #FASHUN big shots? Will the top half of her hair be allowed to merge with the second half? We'll see it all unfold and report back!
