Jack Johnson + flip flops + Earth Day = well, right

This is not a drill. Today is Earth Day, and Jack Johnson has just released a collection of eco-conscious flip-flops. I repeat, this is not a drill. If the idea of Jack Johnson putting out a line of laid-back sandals has you singing, "JJ Casuals, shoes that look like feet," to yourself, YOU'RE NOT ALONE. The moment this little announcement landed in my inbox, visions of Andy Samberg clad in a hemp necklace and oversized plastic Hobbit feet flooded my mind's eye. Immediately after that, I actually opened the press release.
Selenators, how are you holding up? It may feel like you just made space in your closet for Selena Gomez's Adidas NEO Spring 2014 collection, but you're gonna need to clear some more. The Summer 2014 collection is here and—guess what?—you're going to love it. Plus, it'll fit in seamlessly with the pieces from the spring collection because it follows the same aesthetic. Yep, it's got that "Sup? I'm a rebel" vibe.
There are a number of printed pieces, including a monochromatic floral romper that Selena wears to create drawings on a chalkboard. In the campaign video, when she's done with her art, she smears the chalk with her forearm. If that's not rebellious I don't know what is, TBH.
Pieces from Katy Perry's Claire's collection.
Anyone who has ever shopped at Claire's knows that it is the one-stop shop for fun and colorful accessories. So it made perfect sense when Katy Perry—the most fun and colorful human in the world—announced that she was going to design a collection for the store. Ever since we heard this fabulous bit of news a few months ago, we've been trying to imagine the holographic bling Katy would bring to the table. Would there be Egyptian necklaces? Prism earrings? Jungle-cat rings? It's been keeping us up at night, to be honest.
Well, stop imagining and start looking, my friends. Claire's just released a sneak peek of Katy's Prism collection, and it's like a dream come true. It looks like the line is a mix of prismatic shine and "Roar" jungle vibes (everyone knows Katy loves a good theme). In the sparkle department, we get bedazzled bobby pins, a charm bracelet, and a huge Prism pendant necklace, all sticking to the triangular motif of Katy's Prismatic World Tour. There are also nameplate-esque necklaces, only instead of names, they say "Roar" and "Champion." I can't tell what the middle one says, but I'm guessing, like, "Tiger" or "Fighter."
Tommy Hilfiger and Zooey Deschanel at the launch of their collaboration.

Zooey Deschanel has always been a bit prim and proper in her own adorkable way, so it’s pretty perfect that the actress/singer/nail-art extraordinaire has teamed up with Tommy Hilfiger on a capsule collection called "To Tommy, From Zooey," naturally. Zooey’s designs are exactly what we’d expect and want from her: hyper-femme pieces with a vintage flare that'd work as well for a concert as they would at family brunch. Oh yeah, and if yacht clubs are your stomping ground, you’re going to love this even more.
Lauren Conrad modeling her April collection for Kohl's.
They say that April showers bring May flowers, but Lauren Conrad is WAY ahead of schedule. She hopped on board the floral train all the way back in February when she launched her Kohl's Spring 2014 collection—always ahead of the curve, that one. The line's springy patterns and airy fabrics made us forget about being in the middle of winter completely. LC introduced even MORE pieces from her collection on her website today, and we're getting major feels of seasonal déjà vu. Just as the collection's first pieces made us fast-forward to springtime, these new items make us feel like we're already frolicking in the summer sunshine. I guess being a talented fashion designer isn't enough for Lauren—she had to go and master the art of time travel, as well. *hair flip*
Are Kanye's new shoes dropping in June?
Photo: Getty Images
If you were awake for, like, half of last year, you’ll know that Kanye West has a lot of grievances with the fashion industry. Ye’s been airing out his issues for quite some time on the Yeezus tour, radio interviews, television, Twitter—you name it, he's covered it. Well, those fashion monologues eventually led to Kanye breaking off his relationship with Nike, who was at the center of much of his wrath after they kept pushing back the release date of the hotly anticipated Red Octobers (which surprise-dropped in February), and Adidas swooped in, offering Kanye a reported $10-million contract and the chance to design his own line for the sports brand.
Today in Germany, where Adidas is based, Kanye hosted a pep rally of sorts for the company, performing, monologuing, and revealing that—get excited—there’s a new Yeezy coming in June (whether that means we'll be able to get our hands on them then or if that's the timing of our first look is still unclear). Rather than the fired-up tone of his so-called "rants," Ye leaned more toward motivational speaker for this appearance. In his presentation, he shared on everything from sketching shoes in the fourth grade to how ranting is his oxygen and how he just wants to make “usable art.” Here are the best Yeezy-isms from his Adidas presentation.

If there’s anything we should have seen coming, it’s this. How many times does a dude like Pharrell Williams have to wear a classic three-striped Adidas Fireband jacket before we realize what’s really up? After weeks of speculation, the news has finally broken. Skateboard P has inked an exclusive design deal with Adidas, slated to debut Summer 2014—so start saving your coins now, cause this will be MAY-JAH! Of course, this isn't your typical run-of-the-mill celebrity endorsement campaign (duh, it’s Pharrell).

Kanye West on 'Late Night With Seth Meyers.'

Last night, Kanye West was a guest on the second episode of Late Night With Seth Meyers, and, as usual, he talked about fashion. What was unusual, at least according to the internet, was the tone with which he spoke. It was soft, and his notoriously unwieldy comparisons were (mostly) in check, seeming to better illustrate his point. The thing is, though, that what he said last night is, bare bones, the same stuff he's been saying for months. All he did was lower his voice.
