A still from Nicole Richie's 2011 Fall campaign video for House of Harlow 1960.

Backpedal with me for a sec to a few months ago. It was mid/late April, if you're really following along. We caught one Miss Vanessa Hudgens and the fashion-forward Nicole Richie BOTH sporting a quizzical head accessory that we could only describe accurately as a "head thong." I meannnn, what would you call it? It's a piece of stringy head jewelry bisecting your dome in what looks like (to us, at least, as we suffer from insane levels of immaturity, snickering at potty humor, yadda yadda) a bit of a rump-like fashion. Now the crown adornment has resurfaced in Nicole Richie's fall campaign for her jewelry line, House of Harlow 1960, parting her tousled waves with such bohemian efficacy.
Whitney Port's Whitney Eve Fall 2011 Lookbook.

The wait is OVER! Whitney Port has just released her Fall 2011 Lookbook for Whitney Eve, which meanssss the collection will start hitting boutiques right about NOW. Which, of course, means that we'll be able to get a piece of the line ourselves pretty soon! For now, we're content to whet our appetites with the urban boho lookbook and memories of the African-inspired line's runway show back in March while we keep a watchful eye on our local racks. The unexpected color combinations, jewel and earth tones, tribal geometrics, and adventurous silhouettes are all perfect mix-and-match separates for back to school or whatever you're heading back to this fall (Work? Home? The grocery store? Chances are good you've probably changed geographic coordinates at some point and have to return SOMEWHERE eventually, right??). Personally, we're WAY into the printed vest and that gorgeous knotted olive maxi skirt. Peep the rest of the lookbook after the jump!
Lauren Conrad for Kohl's.

Just a couple weeks ago, Hillsie Lauren Conrad released her entire Fall 2011 LC Lauren Conrad collection for Kohl's, and THIS week we found videos of her dishing on her favorite outfit from the line, fall wardrobe tips, and what inspired her collection. Not only does Lauren look absolutely adorbs while talking about her top looks, but um, she chose super indie band The Drums as her soundtrack! (Cue the Weird Vibes creators doing a slow clap.) The best part about these videos though is that you can buy the products from her line AS she's talking about them! WHHOOAA. Technology is SUH-WEET. Let's see what LC had to say!
Snooki on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno."

It's clearer than ever that our girl Snooki is most def catalyzing her very own "style revolution," building herself into a Jersey Shore mogul with quite literally a FLEET of Snooki-branded products and literature. Like any good hands-on businesswoman, she's taking to the streets (and by "streets," we actually mean "network television") to promote her work, hooking people up with Snooki swag all along the way. During last night's The Tonight Show with Jay Leno appearance, she discussed the upcoming fall release of her fragrance. Though no name or actual scent notes were revealed, she DID drop that it definitely won't smell like pickles—not that she didn't already try out the idea.
Natali Germanotta and Lady Gaga at the 2011 CFDA Fashion Awards.

Last week, Natali Germanotta (the sister of Stefani Germanotta, or for anyone not eating/living/breathing Monster-ism, Lady Gaga) teased the fact that she would be making stage costumes for Broadway. No duh, we thought. Of course, we thought. She's Gaga's sister, we thought. But now the U.K. pub Grazia has juicily added that Natali and her big sister are going to make their own clothing line.

Looks like Kanye West isn't the only music superstar to be showing for the first time at this year's New York Fashion Week. According to Fashionista, punk-pop princess Avril Lavigne will be presenting her line Abbey Dawn on the catwalk Monday, Sept. 12 at 6 p.m. at Style 360-Metropolitan Pavilion in NYC.
Khloe Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Kris Jenner, Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, and Kendall Jenner celebrate the Kardashian Kollection launch.

The entire Kardashian brigade showed support for one another with the launch of the Kardashian Kollection for Sears, right down to their matching red carpet outfits. I guess we already knew that the family that sells together AND designs together stays together, right? But what about the family that DRESSES IN MATCHING LEOPARD PRINT TOGETHER? Not that this was planned or anything (it was totally planned), but the K-Sis duo of Kim Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian, along with mother Kris Jenner (and all of their matchy, monochromatic blood relations), seem to be taking familial bonding to a whole new level. Will this become a trend?
Snooki wears sunglasses from her new line with "Poof Nation" written on them.

Snooki. Snookers. Snookalicious. Pull up a chair next to Momma MTV Style for a hot sec. We want some real talk on this road you’re headed down right now, girl. Don’t worry, it isn’t a bad thing. We just...well, we’re beginning to think that you’re poised to be, like, the Jessica Simpson of the Jersey Shore or something! May the fashion gods strike us down with diamond-encrusted lightning bolts if that's a totally blasphemous thing to say, but minus the whole not-starting-out-with-a-record deal thing, your foresight to leverage this reality TV stardom into a career as a designer/businesswoman is very J.Simp-esque. First, it was the faux-sneaker slippers. Then, you expanded your footwear empire to flip-flops and wedges. Just last week, we caught wind of your scent, and now NOW, you’re dishing deets on a line of sunglasses?!
Olivia Palermo at the DKNY Summer Soiree in July 2011; the Olivia-designed shoe for "Young Hollywood Cares."

See, this we like. Instead of adding to the already-saturated celebrity-fronted clothing line hullabaloo, this "Young Hollywood Cares" collection makes a tremendous amount of sense. Not only does the Stuart Weitzman-led initiative benefit Dr. Marsha Moses' pioneering research in ovarian cancer, but it also allows four ladies with a penchant for rocking our socks off to try their hand at shoe architecture. The City style guru Olivia Palermo (whose Weitzman pumps have already debuted on the red carpet before), Scarlett Johansson, Gossip Girl Michelle Trachtenberg, and Hayden Panettiere all put their own spin on the Weitzman heel (think sky-high for Hayden, edgy for Michelle, and so on), which is rad because those girls know what goes into a good pump. They made sure their offerings stayed true to their personal style, oh...aaand contributed to a good cause. So let's see what each lady dreamed up:
Olivia went girlishly sophisticated with a pink feather-embellished wrap-heel, but kept things clean with a streamlined satin strap.
Kellan Lutz at the Abbot + Main Fall 2011 collection launch at Nordstrom.

It's been about a week since Twilight star Kellan Lutz officially debuted his casualwear line Abbot + Main at Nordstrom, but we're finally able to give you a first look at the collection. YUSSS! The line features dudes' hoodies, henleys, and graphic tees in neutral whites, blacks, and grays. Sure, it may seem safe, but Kellan's attention to the DETAILS is what really gets us. When WWD met up with him at the A + M launch in Los Angeles, he effortlessly hit every selling point for the $168 hoodie: "Have you felt this? It's really soft. It's not heavy. It becomes cold when the sun sets. You have to have something warm and functional." Oh yes, yes, yes, Kellan. *nodding vigorously* I really DO have to have it! *hoards three from the rack and bolts to the register*
