If you want to see dudes draped in lace and fringed body-con dresses (I mean, why wouldn't you?), you needn't look further than London Collections: Men. This biannual fashion fest showcases the best of British menswear, giving designers the opportunity to debut their trendiest, most envelope-pushing looks. Those lucky enough to attend the Spring/Summer '15 edition of LC:M (June 15-17) get to check out everything from tailored suits to Japanese-inspired mankinis. Meanwhile, I passed a shirtless man wearing flip-flops and jorts on my sidewalk this morning—but their way sounds cool too, I guess.

It can be admittedly hard to digest some of London Collections' avant-garde styles, so we decided to use our trusty Fashion Math method to break down this season's crazier looks. Enjoy!

Cara Delevingne

IDK about you, but I can barely walk in a straight line without keeping my eyes firmly planted on the ground in front of me. Trying to operate my phone without tripping or stepping into oncoming traffic? Never gonna happen. And thanks to Cara Delevingne, I'm made even more blatantly aware of my lack of motor-skill multitasking.

As if headlining London Fashion Week wasn't impressive enough, Cara filmed herself DURING her runway walks at Giles Deacon's show and posted the footage to her Instagram account. Of course, she made it look super easy and natural, which is why she's a professional model and I'm not (yep, that's the only reason).

The first of her six vids was like a teaser trailer. Cara shows us the backstage lineup, yelling, "It's about to happen, it's about to happen! Oh my gosh, first live video from a catwalk! AHHHHHHH!"

Just as we bid adieu to New York Fashion Week, London Fashion Week kicked off. The Burberry Prorsum show was yesterday, and as usual, Fashion Week fanatic Harry Styles was in attendance. How do I know? Oh, just because every single person and their mother took a picture and posted it to Twitter/Instagram/Facebook/Vine/Tumblr/the whole internet. Let's take a look at some of the best shots, shall we?

Burberry's official Instagram kicks off our coverage with the above shot, which shows just how many people were taking his photo at one time. He's not looking at the camera, which either means he's coy (duh) or was looking at another photographer, OR (given the weirdly low angle) he may not have even known this pic was being taken because the person behind the shutter was being deliberately stealth, keeping it out of his line of sight. (The angle also allows us to appreciate the volume of his hair and the green suede texture of his trench coat.)

Here is Harry, up close and personal. This shot gives us some ~details~, like a button on his coat's collar and what his hair looks like from the back.

tom-ford

Looks from Tom Ford's Fall 2014 collection.

Tom Ford debuted his Fall 2014 collection in London yesterday and we NEED to talk about it. Let's start with the basics: Ford sent two identical dresses down the runway (in black and orange), both of which were emblazoned with the shorthand version of everyone's favorite lyric from Jay Z's "Tom Ford" and the year the designer was born (1961).

Ford called his design, "a knockoff of the knockoff"—a concept we last heard when M.I.A. drew inspiration for her Versus Versace collection from the knockoff Versace items sold on the street by bootleggers. The knee-jerk reaction is to assume that Ford was merely referring to a similarlyprinted BBP tee that Jay Z rocked back in December on his Magna Carta World Tour (and has been seen wearing again in Bey's most recent vacation photos). But that only accounts for one "knockoff": his own of the BBP shirt. Confused? Don't be. There's a simple explanation.

Preen

Rodarte presented some of the most memorable pieces at New York Fashion Week this year thanks to a range of dresses printed with iconic Star Wars imagery. I mean, putting Luke Skywalker and Yoda front and center on your chiffon gowns is definitely going to get people talking. While I was personally delighted to see the greatest sci-fi franchise of all time (thoughts and opinions are my own, but also, don't argue) sneak onto the runway, the literal interpretation of geek chic was admittedly a tad random. Or at least it seemed that way, UNTIL NOW. *duuuun dun dun dun DUNdun dun DUNduuun* Star Wars just made another appearance for Fall/Winter 2014 at Preen's London Fashion Week show, so Rodarte's Jedi regalia could actually have been the first signs of a nerdy new trend.

Harry Styles, Rihanna

Sound the alarm: Harry Styles and Rihanna are fashion twins. Yep, the British boybander and Bajan babe both have an affinity for cartoon hands holding cigarettes. Who knew? Well, I'm not saying that Harry Styles definitely reads this blog, but I am saying that yesterday I pointed out his hilarious hand games in the front row at the House of Holland London Fashion Week show and today he's wearing hands printed on his shirt. Read the signs: I know I am.

New York Fashion Week may be over, but it's underway in London where Harry Styles seems to be using the front row to try out his new career as a comedian. It looks like he's KILLIN' it in the front row, jokes-wise. Fashion-wise, he's keeping it simple—he can't let his look detract from his material, y'know? He showed up to the House of Holland show in a white t-shirt, ripped black jeans, and black boots, but most importantly, he showed up with his sense of humor.

And judging from the pics, Kelly Osbourne (the purple mane seated two seats over from Styles) couldn't get enough; she was visibly into whatever this weird hand game he was playing was. Haha oh LOL, Harry. I'll be into it, too. When we're wedded.

Some might say there's a thin line between pushing the envelope and just being straight-up nonsensical. Fashion Week and all its other runway-laden permutations is a hotbed for that kind of style gray area and this week's London Men's Collections were no exception. Don't get us wrong, there were PUH-LENTY of gorgeous completely 100% wearable looks that stormed the catwalks across the pond, but there are ALWAYS going to be a few token ensembles you look at and think, "Umm, this exists?" Thus, we've rounded up what are, in our opinion, the five most difficult outfits to wear IRL from this season's presentations. Enjoy!

We're pretty sure it shouldn't come as a surprise that wearing a giant black plastic bucket on your head is going to present some vision issues, but even there ARE microscopic holes near the ocular region, it's probably just as difficult to walk into a coffee shop and be taken seriously when you're sporting this bad boy.

What is it about London Fashion Week that brings out the kookiest accessory designs? New York Fashion Week has its fair share of loony togs, sure, but only a few particularly avant garde designers subscribe to that. LFW takes the cake as far as the accessory game goes with a veritable metric ton of labels taking part — Louise Gray, Kokon To Zai (KTZ), House of Holland, Moschino Cheap and Chic, and Tom Ford to name a FEW. From sunglasses shaped like bikes to unicorn crossbody bags (plus, a toilet paper roll ring or two), there are SO many quirky accessories from the London Fall 2013 Fashion Week runways, and we've rounded them up for you to decipher which ones are good, which ones are bad, and which ones are, erm, questionable.

COOL SHADES

So what if the sun is shining for less hours in the day during fall and winter? The number one accessories trend from London Fashion Week this season was hands down statement sunglasses. Whether they're outright bananas like this bicycle pair by Fad or reimagined takes on the classic cat-eye (seen in red at KTZ, opal at Erdem, and metallic pink at House of Holland), this is definitely a trend that falls under the "GOOD" category for us. We only wish the neon yellow block-lettered "VOGUE" from Ziad Ghanem were an actual pair of shades.

Demi Lovato, Rita Ora, Lana Del Rey

Just when you thought the Fashion Week madness was over, we're going to jump across the pond for even more outrageous designer looks, fancy schmancy parties and that's right, a plethora of well-dressed celebs. Welcome to Londontown! Although we're full of jealousy that we're not sipping on tea or practicing our British accent in red telephone booths, we're happy to see that some of our favorite celebs have appeared front row at this season's London Fashion Week. Demi Lovato, who we talked trends with at the Los Angeles Topshop opening, also made an appearance at the store's Fall 2013 fashion show, sticking with a basic black leather jacket, sneaker(s) and her bedazzled orthopedic boot. (Who else could make the best of an injury and look GOOD doing it!?) As mentioned earlier, we're completely on board with Rita Ora's bestie t-shirt supporting gal pal Cara Delevingne as she walked down the Burberry runway. Rita's sleek navy jacket and pants make the simple sketched tee pop even more. Although we've mostly seen Lana Del Rey on magazine covers of late, it's nice to see the singer out and about IRL. She hit up the Mulberry show, punctuating her structured black outfit with long red nails and posing for pictures with British It girl, Alexa Chung.
