Is there anything more awesome than seeing a Hollywood couple that look like they really, truly, puppy-doggily dig each other? Celebrities, they're just like us, right? No, because we're not Emma Stone and our boyfriend isn't Andrew Garfield. The Amazing Spider-Man co-stars and real life couple took to the Movie Awards to show us what real love is all about, and also to present and accept some awards (no big). Sidebar: We maybe (totally) cried during Emma's acceptance speech for the first ever Trailblazer award. *Single tear rolls down cheek* MOVING ON. While on the red carpet, Emma and Andrew told Special Style Correspondent Kat Graham that they do work together to coordinate their outfits, typically using whatever Emma is wearing as the springboard for Andrew's sartorial accompaniments. How totally cute, right? We loved the couple's Movie Awards style, with Emma in a black and cream Martin Grant dress, nude and black Brian Atwood pumps, and Tiffany & Co. jewels. The Best Dressed Of The 2012 MTV Movie Awards

You followed diligently along with us as we live blogged the 2012 MTV Movie Awards red carpet. You watched with us as Special Style Correspondent Kat Graham chatted up the young Hollywood hotties. You gasped with us as Teen Wolf's Holland Roden took our breath away on the step-and-repeat. You even let out a hefty "AWW!" with us as Kristen Stewart switched out of her Loubous and into a trusty pair of Converse kicks. Now comes the hour of the night when we sort through the red carpet finery via a flurry of Post-It notes and Sour Patch Kids, and siphon them into our official Best Dressed list. Heeeeere we go!

After that tear-jerking Trailblazer Award acceptance speech, how could you NOT love Emma Stone? On top of being a classy lady and amazing human specimen, The Amazing Spider-Man starlette also has GUH-REAT style to boot! She squeaked by in the last seconds of the red carpet, just in time for us to gaze at this gorgeous Martin Grant cocktail frock. The dress featured a structured black peplum bodice which sat crisply on top of a voluminous putty-hued balloon skirt and matching pumps with itsy bitsy ankle straps. Emma finished off her look with an effortless updo, minimal eye makeup and a punchy hot pink lip.

If three's a trend, then what does it mean when a whopping FIVE stars wear peplum dresses on the 2012 MTV Movie Awards red carpet this evening? We're just gonna go out on a limb here and call it a full-on fashion takeover, with Emma Watson, Emma Stone, Julia Jones, Charlize Theron, AND Julianne Hough rocking the flouncy look in their own unique ways (peep all the pre-show outfits here). Here's the thing about peplums- although it's tempting to assume they'll all look the same, this is a trend that has a bajillion variations. Case in point: Miss Emma Watson, who looked gorgeous in an abstract graphic print halter dress by BROOD. Remember when she tweeted about wearing a dress from a "new designer"? We've got a feeling that the brains behind the label, Serkan Sarier, is about to get way more famous, real soon. We love how the slight blue and white peplum perfectly complements the purple, gray, and black minidress. Paired with black strappy Tabitha Simmons heels, it's the cutest way to ease into the trend. Emma Stone took a different approach in her black and pale pink Martin Grant colorblocked dress. The top has mirroring deep Vs, jutting out over a girly tulip silhouette and Brian Atwood heels. Plus, it's not red, sparkly, OR a column dress...does this mean our MTV Trailblazer has found a new signature look?

We don't wanna be all, "We called the metallic trend!" but we totally called the metallic trend. Nikki Reed, Kristen Stewart, Crystal Reed, and Christina Ricci shined on the MTV Movie Awards red carpet in summery AND shimmery ensembles. Nikki Reed looked like a golden goddess in her beaded Randi Rahm shift dress. She paired her short-sleeved stunner with a leopard print clutch and gold peep-toe heels, while keeping her makeup soft and sultry. K Stew KILLED it in a bold yellow, metallic gray and purple Guishem frock, pointy black Christian Louboutin pumps, and a Repossi triple band cage ring. She let her chestnut waves run wild (YUS) and finished her look with a seriously smokey eye and nude lips.

Who Will Shine On The MTV Movie Awards Red Carpet This Year?

OMG, guys! It's almost here! The 2012 MTV Movie Awards are THIS SUNDAY, and we couldn't be more excited. Over the course of the past week, we've taken you through some of the biggest fashion trends to flock to the golden popcorn, from mini-dresses to prints and patterns. Our absolute favorite red carpet fad of recent years, though, has to be sparkles, sequins, and shards - the glitzy, embellished frocks that caught, reflected, and refracted light down the step-and-repeat. Still a relatively new trend (our first example is Sarah Jessica Parker's glittery black mini from 2008!), we've seen it explode over the past year with a whopping nine starlettes showing up to the 2011 Movie Awards in shimmery shifts.

Johnny Depp's Iconic Movie Fashion

Just announced today! Johnny Depp will be honored with the 2012 MTV Movie Awards Generation Award live on Sunday night for his gigantic contribution to the film industry. Eeee! From Edward Scissorhands to Pirates of the Caribbean to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Johnny has been the leading man in some of the most iconic films of all time. During his nearly 30-year long career, he has also sported some of the most show-stopping onscreen ensembles we have ever seen. The makeup in his Alice in Wonderland Mad Hatter get-up ALONE is worthy enough of standing ovation, but hey, let's take it alllll back to where it began—with some curly hair in a popular 1984 flick called A Nightmare on Elm Street.

There are plenty of stylish starlettes we're anxiously awaiting glimpses of at this year's MTV Movie Awards. From trailblazer Emma Stone to Special Style Correspondent Kat Graham, there's sure to be plenty of sartorial eye candy traipsing down Sunday's red carpet. One little lady we're particularly psyched to see is Miss Emma Watson, who is confirmed to present at the show alongside her The Perks of Being a Wallflower co-stars Ezra Miller and Logan Lerman. HAHAHAHHAHA. Ugh. You know that thing where you hear your own voice and it’s octaves deeper and scads more alien-sounding than you suspected even with the allotted margin of error because you know that it’s a thing? Seeing yourself in video is that times a million. So gross! Whose bloated, animatronic, pie-face is this exactly? Also, who decided to go out the night before and eat all the sodium in the world and quaff entirely too much carbonated alcohol despite knowing they had on-camera duties the morning after? GAH. So yeah, ignore the looming, foreboding forehead but do listen to the words because we are talking MTV Movie Awards red carpet fashion.
