Lauren Conrad for Kohl's.

Just a couple weeks ago, Hillsie Lauren Conrad released her entire Fall 2011 LC Lauren Conrad collection for Kohl's, and THIS week we found videos of her dishing on her favorite outfit from the line, fall wardrobe tips, and what inspired her collection. Not only does Lauren look absolutely adorbs while talking about her top looks, but um, she chose super indie band The Drums as her soundtrack! (Cue the Weird Vibes creators doing a slow clap.) The best part about these videos though is that you can buy the products from her line AS she's talking about them! WHHOOAA. Technology is SUH-WEET. Let's see what LC had to say!

It's clearer than ever that our girl Snooki is most def catalyzing her very own "style revolution," building herself into a Jersey Shore mogul with quite literally a FLEET of Snooki-branded products and literature. Like any good hands-on businesswoman, she's taking to the streets (and by "streets," we actually mean "network television") to promote her work, hooking people up with Snooki swag all along the way. During last night's The Tonight Show with Jay Leno appearance, she discussed the upcoming fall release of her fragrance. Though no name or actual scent notes were revealed, she DID drop that it definitely won't smell like pickles—not that she didn't already try out the idea.

Hey now. How did we almost miss this? Didn't we just see Snooki on Sunday at the VMAs? I know Beyoncé announced the impending arrival of Destiny's child (yes, I HAD TO go there, OK?!??), but we ALWAYS have our eagle eye on the cast of Jersey Shore's every style step! How could an alteration so major as the resurrection of her BANGS escape us?! Praise be for Twitter and TwitPics, else we might have gone even more days (or worse, WEEKS) without realizing!

The cast of the Jersey Shore arrived (whew!) at the VMAs in the wake of hurricanes both literal and metaphorical. They were—as always—tanned and buffed despite the otherwise cloudy skies that have been dominating their native New Jersey environs, and they stepped up the WOWW (sorry, had to) fashion factor in a captivating array of sparkles, animal prints, and dark 'n' brooding suits. But were the boys tipping their nonexistent hats toward their rain-soaked summer home with this somber choice? Or were they stormy due to a different "situation"?
Pauly D's super-gelled hair.
The winds are still whipping and the rain is still falling, but for the most part, the tumultuous Hurricane Irene is finally making her East Coast exit (though not without leaving a considerable amount of destruction in her wake). While she was certainly devastating, the speedy collective preemptive measures taken ensured just about as safe a weathering of this storm as possible. One of Irene's hardest hit victims was now-infamous Seaside Heights, summer home to the cast of Jersey Shore. The always-positive Pauly D declared, "Irene got nothing on my blowout," with a chuckle before acknowledging the storm's serious risks, "I was nervous. This storm's no joke." Though, if there was ANY tonsorial structure built to withstand a natural disaster, his 'do would probably be it.

We know you're still getting over the emotional tilt-a-whirl catharsis that was last night's episode of Jersey Shore. You're probably deeply concerned about our boy Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino—both because of his provocation of Ronnie and [SPOILER ALERT if you're not caught up yet!!!] that closing shot of him being carried away on a stretcher and in a neck restraint. BUT FEAR NOT! Just take a quick little glance at the side-by-side above and let out a deep sigh of relief. Sitch was photographed yesterday looking suave as ever, rocking TWO blazered ensembles in one day!
Alexa Chung models her Madewell collection.

Alexa Chung is a busy gal these days. It was recently announced that she'll be hosting the new fashion reality show 24-Hour Catwalk for the Lifetime network (also home to Project Runway), which we're assuming is all about designers creating outfits for the catwalk in 24 hours. Frankly, we're glad she's back stateside, ready to dole out her signature raspy-voiced witticisms on camera (R.I.P. It's On with Alexa Chung) while, surely, wearing ensembles that'll have us clamoring to re-create the look. But wait, no need to clamor, folks, Alexa's got us covered! The new Alexa Chung for Madewell fall collection is set to hit stores on Sept. 22, and judging from the campaign ads and a new video featuring Alexa romping around Austin, Texas, ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING looks like it needs to fly into our closet RIGHT NOW.
JWOWW is your Jersey Shore Style Champ of the night.

Whoa guys. Whoa. Jersey Shore was a major rollercoaster of emotions tonight, but let us clearly point out that nothing took us through the range of feelings, real legitimate feelings, like the ups and downs of JWOWW's big floppy hat. First, alarm. Why did she pick choose such a major hat? Then, like the girls, some disgust. That hat is too big! Followed by admiration. Maybe, like her shopping partners, we didn't understand Italian fashion like Jenni claims. In the end, we fell into acceptance and appreciation, letting the hat in all its floppiness was over us. Which is why Jenni "JWOWW" Farley is our Jersey Shore Style Champ for tonight. In case you didn't know, now you do: for each Italy episode, we here at MTV Style use our unimpeachably awesome sartorial judgment to select the best JS style moments of Pauly D., Snooki, The Situation, Sammi, Ronnie, Vinny, Deena and JWOWW, and deem a SINGLE housemate the episode winner.
We factor: the amount the roommates make fun of the housemate in question, how much they go ahead and rock their gear with pride anyway, and the way in which each meat head prevails at the end of the episode. And now that we know that JWOWW's Italian fashion game is on lock, she is the Season 4, Episode 4 style champ. Because without risk and danger of hat-related injury, there is no reward...
We'll be the first to admit we get a wee little stalkery when it comes to Snooki. BUT to be fair, she makes following her incredibly easy. The Jersey Shore star constantly tweets about her amazing outfits, what she's doing that day, or—if we're lucky—fashion news! Last night Snooks hinted at something she called the "Guidette Book" in which she talks about her iconic look becoming a "style revolution," and said she'd release some mega news about it today (and also told us to "hold onto our bronzer." Oh, we are. TIGHT.), but at this time she's said nothing more than: "My biggest nightmare is waking up pale. Or without eyelashes." Well, OK, then! (Cue photoshopping and retoning. What if Snooki were PALE?!) After this horrendous thought, Snooks decided to have a impromptu Twitter Q&A session, thanks this rainy NYC afternoon. Of course we followed it oh-so-closely, and she dropped some mega style news!
It's no secret that Lauren Conrad inspired THE braid trend of the century a few years back—that amazing go-to front bang braid! She sported this look while on The Hills for an easy way to swipe her hair to the side on sweaty summer days, but LC, girl, we want something new! Luckily, she must've heard us (...but hoooow? *shifty eyes*), and gave us a gorgeous step-by-step tutorial of her brand-new way to braid her bad hair days away—the side braid! On her website, TheBeautyDepartment.com, LC gives us the lowdown (or should we say Lo down? OMG HILLS JOKE! *laughsnort*) on how to re-create her hair masterpiece. Lucky for us (and our non-nimble sausage fingers), it looks—dare we say—kind of easy. Hairstylist Kristin Ess dishes every last detail on the summery look AND says it works on literally every hair type. *high five* So what are we waiting for? Let's do this THANG.
